I stayed in this park and although the reviews from years in the past are nice, the park is in a…read morerather dismal state as of the summer of 2024 and apparently has only 15 spaces that conform to legal standards for renting/leasing and Two of these sites dump gray water directly on the ground vs. through approved sewage systems. The maintenance of the grounds and facilities leave much to be desired as it appears it is only the very minimum maintenance now on both the grounds, utilities. I experienced excessive rodent problems in this park as well. Walt's RV no longer handles the booking or the finances for park residents and the company which handles this (LPPM in Chiloquine) seems to be experiencing some challenges. I liked the owners and how the park once was, but could never recommend it as of now.

I tried asking her if there are any other camping spots in the area and she hung up on me. I'm giving 2 stars because the pictures and reviews seem great, but the brushed off manner she talked to me and the fact that she hung up on me doesn't make me want to give her any of my business.

Cons: NO cable. I realize a lot of people have on board satellite. However some of us for a one night stay don't want to go thru the hassle of set up. We have Starlink, setup was great. It is next to Hwy 97 at time noisy with traffic and Jake brakes. Trains, lots of them, but never heard them at night. Overall an enjoyable week. Would book again when we come thru Klamath Falls.

The forest is recovering beautifully, and you will get to see the wonderful work of the rangers and community to restore the area. We stayed for four nights in the campground and wished for longer. Sadly the resevoir was shockingly low and what would have normally been nearby water views were limited. Our campsite had water and power and everything worked well for the entire stay. There are two dump stations near the entrance. When the park is full I suspect the dump station could get crowded. There are playgrounds for the kids in between the major campground areas. Restrooms and showers were decent. It's a well maintained campground especially for a public one.

Busy place on the holiday weekend. LOTS of kids riding all over the place on noisy motorized playtoys / scooters / power wheels. Campsites are well spaced. If you have a trailer / 5th wheel / motorhome, watch out for dead dry branches that'll tear up your rig. ​
