Okay I left 4 stars for my first review but I forgot about the amazing security guard . His amazing attitude and nice personality makes this a 5 star place. He was singing in the elevator when it was 230 am not knowing anyone was around. When the elevator opened and my husband and I were standing there, he turned as red as an apple. I loved it. He made me smile for the rest of the trip. So funny.

I've been to Reno dozens of times and always stayed at the big hotels (GSR, Silver Legacy, Circus Circus, etc.) our family scheduled a little getaway and we ended up at WorldMark for the week. Walking distance to the famous arch, the river walk, casinos, bars, coffee houses, restaurants, etc. The surrounding area is still under construction so it's a bit isolated at night. The homeless situation is apparent but we were never bothered by anyone. The facility felt a bit dated in the lobby but the staff was inviting and personable. Free parking with security at night. We were a bit skeptical on the route to our room but as soon as we opened the door, we were pleasantly surprised! An updated mini apartment. 2 bedrooms on opposite ends with the living space in the middle. Perfect for our family! Very clean and tidy with basic kitchen utensils and dishes provided. In room washer and dryer. 2 separate bathrooms and a Murphy bed too! The unit sleeps 6, comfortably! TVs in both bedrooms and in the living space too. Movies for loan in the lobby. Fireplace too. We were very comfortable and will definitely come back. It was a great experience.

Ok so I really like Reno and I thought this location is very central located for Downtown Reno. Walkable which is great. The rooms do get hot & the AC struggles to keep up. We kept our shades closed during the day to help keep room cool. The motel next door is no the greatest. Great small pool & hottub. Very calm and relaxing condo. All of Reno seemed laid back and relaxed. Walkable safe city and enjoyable (vs Las Vegas). Definitely worth a trip. I would recommend driving to Lake Tahoe (30-45 minutes away) and Virginia City (30mins).

Great location! This was our first time staying at this Worldmark location. I love that it is walking distance to almost anywhere in downtown and to the Reno Riverwalk District. We took in a musical stage show at Harrah's in a last-minute planning the Friday night we arrived. Actually, our main visit to Reno was for a concert. We had the resort shuttle drop us off at the Reno Events Center Saturday evening, this was especially convenient for us since parking would've been challenging. Although the performance ran late, past the last pick up for the day, we didn't mind the walk back to Worldmark. The weather was comfortable for a nice walk. On the way back we passed by the Reno Arch which was pretty at night! Oh, right, the resort... well, we love our Worldmark membership! The staff at these resorts are always helpful and friendly. It's our home away from home although, in this urban location, the units were a little smaller than other WorldMarks we've stayed in. Our 1 bedroom unit was just the right size for the both of us (a 1 bedroom has a capacity of up to 4 guests max). We love the fully-equipped kitchen although this location had no BBQ grill. Meh, that's okay, there were so many restaurants around nearby plus it was fun exploring new places to eat! Parking is limited on the ground floor but there are more spaces on the underground basement level which is accessible by using your card key. Would love to stay here again the next time we're in town! Thank you, WorldMark Reno! Review #1145

This property has 1 and 2 bedrooms with a full kitchen. The kitchen is generously stocked with dishes, pots/pans and utensils. There is a full size refrigerator as well. The washer and dryer are also in the unit. Most of the 2 bedrooms have a mountain view and the 1 bedroom have the city view. There are 9 floors with no rooms on the ground level. There were only three of us so the 1 bedroom was perfect for us. Although some of the common areas were closed due to the pandemic, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the cleanliness of the property and the unit. The front desk was very friendly throughout the stay. We cooked some meals in the unit and also enjoyed eating out at Riverwalk which is a 5-10 minute walk from the property. There are also BBQs pits on the second floor but we didn't use them. It was nice to get away and we are happy to have chosen WorldMark Reno.

We came to Reno for our 27th anniversary first time, suite was amazing! Front desk Jeff answered all questions, staff was very knowledgeable, everything needed within walking distance. In suite wash/dryer all appliances big bathroom. Hot tub and pool available but weather didn't permit. Can't wait to stay again!!!!

Typical Worldmark style, we stayed in a two bedroom, two bathroom condo with a Murphy bed in the living room. The second bedroom has twin beds and no window, but there are glass blocks in the wall to let some light in from the living room. We stayed in room 805 and with floor to ceiling windows, we had good views of the snowcapped mountains. The layout has lots of angles and provides good privacy in the bedrooms. There are small televisions in both bedrooms and living room. The counter tops are laminate and the kitchen is quite cozy but functional. The building is 10 stories and there is parking both at street level and underground. This place is a couple of blocks away from El Dorado with Sands close by too. The staff are friendly and helpful too.

View of the living room, big windows with a view, and a pull out bed for extra guests.

Super construction going on and the parking lots are a mess, you don't know to go right or left and I got lost finding entrances even after 3 days.really dirty too. 2. The dirt doesn't stop there. Our first room we were given was so smokey I mean burning eyes smokey. There was a box fan sitting outside the room so I think they tried to air it out but it was like someone burned a cigar in there and just closed the door. 3. After going thru a room swap we were given another room. Fine but there was a dirty rag left in the bathroom counter with hairs all over it. Not a huge deal but still, come on right? 4. The late check out. Went to the front desk night before to make sure late check out was ok since we were at an event that morning. No problem they said you got until 4 with an additional fee. Great right? Nope since our room was a room that was attached to a suite they needed us out before that. Just come on again! 5. The service is just rude everywhere. I mean everyone you encounter! The Rim restaurant guy host in a suit..., I'm convinced was high as a kite. Don't believe me, go there and talk to him, holy! The security desk, rude and unhelpful. Anyone you call on the phone from the room, rude. I'm not expecting Disney customer service, but come on man! Someone teach these guys some customer service skills. So the good.... The resort is really cool. Bowling video games, nice casino, everything to spend a fun weekend. We may even come back just to do the pool and stuff to do there. To wrap it up... Lower your expectations. Your not going to get the cleanest room. Most certainly you will be treated rudely. It's a place that could be so epic but falls short due to just taking short cuts in the customer service, organization and just plain care about your whole experience factor. P.S. you will receive at least 5 text messages telling you about how great their spa is.

Dear Hyatt Management Team,…read more I am writing to share feedback regarding my recent stay, as this is the first time in my four years as a Hyatt Explorer member that I have experienced a noticeable decline in check-in service quality. Prior to arrival, I received an email and app notification confirming that my room was ready at 11:05 a.m., including the assigned room number. I arrived at the hotel at approximately 12:45 p.m. Upon approaching the front desk, I was not properly welcomed, and the first statement I received from the receptionist was that there would be a fee for early check-in. I showed the email and app confirming my room was already ready, as this situation had never occurred in my past stays. Only after requesting to speak with a manager was I allowed to check in. I initially planned to let this go, but on my checkout day I experienced another disappointing interaction. When I requested my two complimentary bottles of water, I was told that water is not provided on checkout day and that I would need to purchase them instead. In the room, one of the bed lights is not working and the fan in the bathroom makes loud sound which I didn't even complaint. The room is a bit dated with stain on the sofa and the bath tub. The sink has a crack and the wall paper is peeling off. This, again, has never been an issue during my previous Hyatt stays. What concerned me most was the tone and manner in which both interactions were handled. These were separate employees, yet both encounters felt unnecessarily dismissive and unwelcoming. I am not including names, as my intention is not to single out individuals, but rather to encourage improved consistency in customer service and guest experience. I have always chosen Hyatt because of the professionalism and hospitality I've come to expect as a loyal member. I hope this feedback can be used constructively to ensure future guests receive the standard of service that Hyatt is known for. Thank you for taking the time to review my concerns. I look forward to your response.

The long term stay area has a community full of nice and respectful people, which gives the park a nice, safe, and friendly neighborhood feel. The spaces offer a good sized lot with parking, and many have fences for pets and privacy. Most all have mature trees among them. There's a nice, shady, grassy area to enjoy a picnic or for lounging, a patio area for sitting and enjoying the view of the Truckee River and Idlewild Park. It's located close to everything Reno has to offer. I tried to book online but it wouldn't let me so I called the number and spoke to a very pleasant woman who took my reservation over the phone and even offered me a first responder discount! Upon arrival, they were set up for after hours check in and very organized and timely. Chris, the security officer guided us right to our site and was very pleasant. Our site was a premium river side set up that did not disappoint! We backed up to the river with lush trees and greenery all around. There's a beautiful patio with chairs, tables and Edison string lights overlooking the river where we would sip our drinks after a long day of traveling and watch the geese and ducks in the river. There's also a couple of benches and fire pits established for campers to use. There are long term residents throughout the park, and some sites are pretty close together so we were very lucky to have gotten a premium, roomy luxurious site at last minute. We definitely recommend paying the little extra for a river front site. Site 11 & 12 are the best! PS: the staff is very responsive to texts and questions and they were a delight!

In the morning, we waited over 30 minutes while valet staff searched for another guest's lost key. Later that same evening, we ended up experiencing the exact same thing ourselves. The valet staff lost our key and it took over 20 minutes for them to locate it. They did not think to hire more staff for the busy Memorial Day weekend and the basketball/volleyball/adult softball tournaments that were going on in the area. The night before we had to leave our car halfway in the street because valet was so backed up. The guest service manager told us to leave it half away in the street. The next day the same manager blamed the desk agent for losing our key when they did the same thing in the morning when she wasn't there. Unfortunately, this caused us to be late to a magic show we were attending at Grand Sierra Resort. I understand mistakes can happen, but seeing the same issue happen multiple times in one day shows a serious lack of organization and professionalism. Valet should make the experience smoother, not create unnecessary stress and delays.

You can't beat their locals (and CA residents) get 35% off in Dec-March Sunday through Thursday. It's a 9 hour escape from my kids and normal life and it's never too busy here. They have a co Ed relaxation room, HUGE co Ed spa that's the size of a small swimming pool, separate ladies spa, ladies lounge , ladies eucalyptus steam room and ladies dry sauna. What more could you want?! Feedback for improving- they used to have overhead rain showers now they have wall shower heads. Bring those back! That needs to be worked on for sure. My robe was supposed to be a white or ivory on the inside. I know from experience. But the one I got must have been washed on hot and the dark color bled and made the inside look just grungy. That's an easy fix for them. Even with the above I'll keep coming back and rating it 5 stars for atmosphere and local appreciation.
