This business is extremely military friendly. I trusted this company with my 11 yr old Labrador that I've had since he was a puppy and he arrived safe and sound and most importantly, healthy. I had him sent to Okinawa, Japan from the US and every step was flawless. During my big move, the owner of this company saw to it personally that I was being cared for and updated me every step of the way. This company transports several animals every day. Having an inside-man that has been there and literally done it is the most legitimate source you can have when trusting someone to fly your family pet across the world. I've heard horror stories about how people PCS and don't have the correct paperwork for their dog to clear customs while traveling on orders, and getting stuck mid trip-- having to scramble to find a vet that will sign a paper to make the next flight out. It happens all of the time and it's a nightmare every time. So! Please have standard expectations when transporting your pet. You're required to have a certain crate (can be hard to come by) and it is best to have the paperwork done by a military vet on base (they have a special certification that makes the paperwork easier). You can quarantine your dog in the US prior for 6 months but know that, again, it is best to use a vet on base to start that quarantine. You are also required to have all of the immunizations up-to-date, and a 14 digit microchip. World pet Health travel knew all of this- of course- and communicated their expectations upfront. The instructions are detailed and lengthy but please know that this is the standard with all pet transport, as I've flown another pet of mine to Portugal without a service and it's all of the same requirements. Financially, using this service was worth every penny, as travel is restricted to staying in a same place for 2 weeks if I would have flown with him. This way I was able to take my rotator (free flight with military personnel) and have someone pick up my dog in Okinawa so my quarantine could be done with him at my duty station (instead of paying out of pocket for 2 weeks to stay in Tokyo, not to mention the flight to Tokyo myself). Ensuring he was cleared by customs saved me 6 months of quarantining my dog in Japan which would have cost me thousands for him to stay in a kennel on base and a separation of 6 months where my dog would have to live in a kennel. When flying to Japan, this company used the best animal transport I've ever heard of. Lufthansa (based out of Germany) uses sound-proofed, pressurized, temperature controlled compartments used mainly to transport horses. I've also heard horror stories about how pets die on cargo planes from the stress/conditions. There's no other company I would trust more than Lufthansa to ensure my pets safety and well being. Every step of the way, a well- trained transporter would care for my per and update me via email. A professional with world pet health center also tracks this to ensure you receive updates. I reached out to several methods of transport and the only capable service I found was this one (for my situation especially). I highly recommend it! read more

Service was very disappointing. Our pup was traveling to Costa Rica on a flight that required that he be checked in at the cargo area by 6:50 am on a Monday morning. After numerous messages, by 5:30 Sunday evening, I had not yet been told where or when to meet the local agent. Rather than sit for a relaxing dinner, I had to start confirming arrangements with the airline. The local agent finally called after 8 pm to confirm the arrangements for meeting that I had made. The next morning the airline started processing the dog before the agent arrived because they were concerned about making the deadline. Although I received a very apologetic call later in the morning, it did not make up for the stress or extra work I ended up doing in spite of my having paid for a high level of service. read more

Houston is not allowing pets to travel through their company anymore. Since they can't honor our contract, I asked for my deposit of over $2600.00 US. The president, Amanda said no, we are keeping your deposit (even though they have not and cannot fulfill the contract) For six months they basically were stringing me along, now I believe this was because they knew I could not go back to my credit card company and dispute the charge. This company stole my Bengal Kitten. They sent an email stating that they needed 600. To ship the cat and upon the arrival of the cat they would refund the 600.00. The man I spoke with on the phone assured that it would be returned once the kitten was delivered. He stated that the kitten would arrive before 8:00 p.m. He said the cat would be processed in about 2 hours. 2 and a half hours later they emailed me again stating that they needed another 890 to mail the cat off. Mind you at this point the cat should have been well on her way. The cat had her papers and is a Bengal cat. They stole my cat and found every reason not to deliver her as promised, refused to refund me an return the cat to its original owner. I wrote the review below 6 months ago...owner Angela Passman replied with a response all about God as you can see...then she revised the response 2 months ago, but there isn't enough room to see it. You can see it on their google review page...it would have been nice to have the compassion she fabricated in her response the day I called her to tell her my dog had died, and she ultimately kept $4896 of mine...no pet travel, and no refund of any kind...even the custom made crate they supposedly had commissioned for my dog. Shameful shameful behavior, and I would NEVER recommend them! 6 months ago I don't know how these people sleep at night. I paid them $4,896.99 in full to move my German Shepherd out of the country with me 5 days before she died, after unexpectedly declining during her last two weeks of life. Part of that cost was $96 to have a custom made crate built due to my dog's size (which they can now sell or use). Not only was the owner Angela Passman ridiculously rude and condescending during the process, they have elected not to reimburse me one penny. That's correct...evidently, I sent them too many emails with questions, after being sent conflicting information by Angela and her daughter Tara that needed to be clarified. Angela told me she had to recoup all her costs...WOW! Just about as heartless as they come. When I disputed the charge with my credit card company, she wrote them a letter saying (I quote), 'Regarding Ms. Muzzall's attempt to cancel...this happens often after we have given an owner the routing for their pets. They decide they can do it on their own for less than what they have paid World Pet Travel....', insinuating I had 'faked' my beloved dog's death. Further down in her letter, she states 'we had everything set up for the pet's relocation prior to her cancellation notice'. My DOG DIED, Angela! I surely didn't 'plan' it, or 'fake' it. Shameful! When I spoke to Angela after my dog died, she informed me that she was very busy with 'actual pet travels', and didn't know when she'd have a chance to review my case as to whether or not any money would be refunded to me. The answer turned out to be that she didn't have time...I emailed numerous times to no avail. Yes, I signed a contract, but as I reminded Angela...'sometimes you do things in life or business because they are the just the right things to do, regardless of policy or contracts...it's just good PR', to which she replied, 'so now you're threatening me on social media?' (which I did not, nor will I do). I'm still stunned that when I should have received compassion, I got rudeness and complete dismissal...mourning the loss of my dog, and also out just shy of $5,000 is quite striking. Used this company to move my dogs from Atlanta to Europe. WPT couldn't account for my two dogs for 12 hours. Frantic, I called the airlines and was told the dogs were never checked in. Evidently, the kennel in Atlanta, used by WPT, had better things to do, and didn't get my dogs on their flight. When I phoned Angela Paasman of WPT to inquire why, she screamed at me over the phone, threatened to charge me more $$, and accused me of "micromanaging". She also screamed that it was only "12 hours" and I had no right to call the airlines. From that point on, I felt my dogs were being held hostage and that if I didn't "behave", I would never see them again. It was a nightmare. My dogs finally arrived in country about a week later. The company WPT used here in country, to pick them up at the airport, was to drive them to my home, located approximately 250 miles from the airport. This company, took close to 24 hours to drive the 250 miles. They told me they had to stop for the night due to bad weather. However, I looked at the weather report for the location they claimed they had stopped. It was clear -- so they lied. My dogs were traumatized by the time they finally reached me. WPT never contacted me to apologize or to see if my dogs arrived safely. They did, however, take thousands of dollars. I used WPT to transport my 2 dogs from Atlanta to Turkey in 2016. It was a nightmare and I would not wish this experience on anyone. WPT could not account for my dogs for 12 hours. Evidently, the kennel WPT used in Atlanta, never checked in my dogs for their flight. Frantic, I called the airline and was told they had never been checked in. When I phoned Angela Passman, from WPT, about this, she screamed at me over the phone. She threatened to charge me over a thousand dollars extra if I didn't stop "micromanaging". She said it was ridiculous that I was upset because of the 12 hours of unaccountability. From that moment on, I felt my dogs were being held hostage and if I didn't "behave" I would never see them again (I was already in Turkey). About a week later, my dogs arrived safely in Turkey. WPT had contracted another company to get them through customs and drive them approx 250 miles to where I was living. It took close to 24 hours for the company to drive the 250 miles, because the drivers stopped and spent the night on the road due to "bad weather". However, I checked the weather, where the drivers claimed they had stopped, and the weather was clear. By the time my dogs got to me, they were clearly traumatized. If you are serious and meticulous when it comes to your animals, if professionalism and absolute competence are a must, don't waste your time searching any longer. World Pet Travel is the one. I have two extremely rare and exotic hybrids felines. Less than 30 exist anywhere in the world of their purity, and currently zero are for sale. They took over ten years and 50k dollars to find. I eventually acquired them in Austria and Italy, and a few years later started making arrangements to move back home, to the States. Moving a family and a house was far easier than arranging transport for my hybrid cats. We called some of the largest pet-moving companies in Europe and Asia, and no one would touch us. Because with less than 30 alive, my pets were actually classified as endangered species by some jurisdictions, even through they are hybrids. And due to a recent law change, our legally-bought pets became illegal to own in Italy. It was an absolute nightmare. After struggling for months trying to find a solution, we found Angela; had it not been for her, I doubt I could've ever gotten them stateside. She navigated endless bureaucratic hurdles and absurdities from Italy, America, the Schengen, the EU, USFAW, wildlife committees...it was endless. I've been told since that the process we faced was far more difficult than what a modern day zoo goes through, when importing exotic/endangered species. When Angela arrived she took over the situation completely and at a cost of only a fraction of what I had expected, we were reunited with our pets, a family once again.
