However, the facility's cleanliness is a major issue. The locker rooms and changing areas are consistently dirty and poorly maintained. To make matters worse, during my last visit, we actually saw a rat running through the gym. It's a shame because the coaching is some of the best in Orange, but the lack of hygiene is a serious health concern that needs to be addressed immediately. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and invests in a deep clean and pest control, as it currently detracts from an otherwise great training environment.

Amazing classes! So much fun!…read more Last time, I did an archery class with Master Jennifer. That was a good experience! Tonight, I did an archery class with Master Clawson. It was great! Master Clawson is so knowledgeable about the history of archery and anything related to martial arts. He is very open and gives direct feedback on form. His feedback is very helpful. He took extra time with the beginners to provide additional support. I enjoyed seeing the advanced members shoot their bows too. Getting to see that was very inspiring. I love that the environment is filled with respect and discipline. Such a great learning environment. Everyone is so kind and welcoming. If you are on the fence about taking a class here, just go for it! You won't regret it. I had a ton of fun shooting and I think I got a tiiiiiny bit better from the first class- yay! lol

I emailed the studio and they got back to me saying the whole studio is closed today and all the classes are canceled due to an event outside the studio. They should definitely be updating that on their website and/or Instagram! I even checked both before driving there this morning.

The parking is great, location is convenient and easy to get to. The professor and the people who practice here make it special. The higher belts are not trying to destroy the white belts. All have been really good about teaching the beginners and have made it enjoyable. There is no ego here but a lot of comradery like a family. Also for those that want to practice intensely, the professor allows that in a good environment for all skill levels. I think a lot of places, people can get hurt, but the studio has done a good job of preventing that kind of environment. The professor is accessible and always teaching class, which is a big bonus! My daughters 6 and 7 are taking the children's classes as well and having the time of their lives. I like the fact that he is making BJJ enjoyable and effective. A few months in and we were almost going to give up as he was not making progress. However, after a quick chat with the Sensei, he made some adjustments that may seem little to him, but impacted our toddler and how we viewed each class. I have also seen other parents bring up concerns or feedback to the Senseis and instructors and noticed they do their very best to accommodate and/or adjust based on it. I also love the flexibility of the schedule. Some weeks we are busier than others but it is very nice that there's no need to call in or commit to specific days of the week. The times are perfect as well, especially for parents who might live further and don't get off work until 5pm. Each Sensei and instructor has been very patient, creative, and still fun with my toddler and other kids in the class. Every kid is so different yet they're able to manage the class with various personalities and energy levels. I also love that they do not exclude anyone! It is a safe space for any kid, young adult, or adult to build confidence and enjoy something where they are their own person. If you're unsure which dojo to try, they offer a free trial class so you can observe and get a feel for it.
