Edit 8/5 You said "it doesn't reflect the truth of how you and your son were treated at my gym" Do you even know who I am and what you're talking about? There is no father and son, my father has nothing to do with this, Im 35 years old, I went in there alone You might actually have me confused with someone else I dont train there You don't remember or recognize me because you've never seen me in 5 months and I've never been back after the first $50 class (yet you've still been charging me $150 per month) You lied to me when we met in person, you said just fill out this form so I can run the $50 on the credit card AND you took the $50 cash. I understand your system, any credit card you get automatically turns into a subscription and you don't even know who I am I hope people see these these texts and see how rude you are and how genuinely nice I was Like I said in text if I end up having to pay for this $750 membership that I've never used then I hope you donate it to someone who really needs it I wish you peace To the students in your school, I wish them well, they were all great training partners that one night back in March

Joining Carrillo Muay Thai has honestly helped me a lot. ever since my dad bought me 2 months ago, I walked in with little experience and yea I was nervous but when my first class started something just clicked. The energy, the people, the way coaches talk to you, like they don't just shout but like really explaining it to the whole room, making it feel like you belong here. But Muay Thai has helped me so much in this short period of time because it pushes me for sure every class challenges me In ways I didn't know I needed. And CMT has given me a mentality to work harder, and there is something so powerful about showing up consistently sweating through the doubt and realizing little by little you have become a stronger person. But What makes Carrillo Muay Thai special isn't just the technique or the training it's the heart. The coaches care deeply, and the people train hard but lift each other up. It's not just a gym--it feels like home. If you're even remotely thinking about starting Muay Thai, or just looking for a space where you can be challenged and supported in equal measure, come to Carrillo Muay Thai It might just change your life too. Thank you coach Carrillo. assistant coach Danny and Jacob as well as Steve.

Just discovered this treasure, After watching some YouTube videos, exploring their website, and studying other local gyms, I decided to make this place my 10 year old's gym. My drive is about 30/35 min and well worth the gas. The Coaches are all awesome, very friendly, and welcoming, the location has plenty of parking and is very clean. My son really enjoys the ring and looks forward to training. Jean, is very informative and knowledgeable. Training for my son is three times a week, at first I thought my son was going to be overwhelmed with three day a week practice but enjoys the work out. My son has never been exposed to any kind of fight training and today he's a week in and his arm, stance and overall positioning has taken a toll for the positive. Thank you Carillo Muay Thai

Collecting agency posted debt I owe to Carillo after I paid my previous month in cash. Carillo is a greedy man be aware and keep your senses woke. Doesn't even spar nor hold pads for his students. Negative experience all through out no future if he's the coach brings bad vibes and talks stupidity! Fused neck to spine and in the fighting business what a shame..retire old man do us all a favor!

    Shame on him

Ask the Community - Carrillo Muay Thai

Do you have classes for kids? My son is 11 years old.

Hey, Carillo sure does offer classes for kids and all ages. My son is 10 and just started his first class 2 weeks ago.

    Can i do a 1 day trial?

depending on who you are, and what previous gyms you have trained before.

I knew I'd learn a lot about fighting, but I was astounded by how welcoming the community is. A lot of the members will support you in one way or another. Whether it's by coming to watch you fight, give you advice on how to prepare mentally and physically, or even send an encouraging text the night before the big day. Coach Julio goes above and beyond for everyone. Doesn't matter if you're on a trial membership, an experienced fighter, or just in town for the day--coach Julio treats everyone kindly. Definitely also recommend picking his brain because he is one of the most passionate people I've ever met in my life. I don't throw around the word genius often, but Coach Franky is a Fight GENIUS. Coach Agu right away can make a new member feel like you guys have been friends for years. Coach Chris teaches epic combos that he actually executes in fights and sparring! In addition, Spider has tons of other knowledgeable coaches who know how to create a safe but intense environment for those who either want to step in the ring or just simply learn the art. I moved away from the area but no doubt about it that whenever I'm in town I'm hitting up a training session at the best Muay Thai gym in the county.

In terms of culture, the people and coaches create an environment where you can thrive. It's fun to be there and it caters to any level. If you're a first timer, you'll get taken care of. If you aspire to fight at the highest levels, you'll have coaches and talent to support you. I've made life long friends at this gym, and I'm thankful for it. Now the value... some gyms pin you down with 4 sessions a week or just 1 martial art. At this gym, you get unlimited classes to Gi BJJ, NoGi BJJ, Muay Thai, MMA, Wrestling, fitness. There's also a recovery room with things like red light therapy, massage boots, vibration plate, sauna, cold plunge, hyperbaric chamber. There's showers, lockers, and there's a coffee bar. Not to mention, a weight training area. So yea, you get way more bang for your buck. Also, if you're looking to fellowship, there's a weekly Bible study on Thursday nights. Open to anyone. I sound biased. And I am. But it's because of my experience at this gym.

Bottom Line Up Front: I give this gym 5 out of 5 stars --…read moreand that says a lot because I've been training in martial arts since 1995 and am a certified instructor in multiple systems. But let me break it down as to why it gets my seal of approval. What You'll Learn: Rounders offers multiple martial arts: Boxing, Muay Thai (kickboxing), Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Kali (a Filipino knife-fighting system), and Mixed Martial Arts (which combines striking, wrestling, and Jiu-Jitsu). In the past they have also offered wrestling and Judo. So there's something for everyone. Regardless of what class you pick, you'll learn how to protect yourself while getting a great workout. What You'll Gain: Like I mentioned, you'll get a killer workout in a safe and fun environment. According to some studies, you could burn anywhere between 300 to 800 calories in a single 1-hour kickboxing class. It's far more efficient (and fun!) than running on a treadmill. And the added bonus is that you'll learn self-defense along the way. Who You'll Meet: From co-owner Joe Kim to all the other instructors, the coaches here are physically talented, knowledgeable, and easy-going despite being deadly warriors. They create a positive atmosphere so that everyone -- from brand new rookies to combat sports veterans -- has fun while learning. And that trickles down through to the students, who are all supportive and welcoming. The Space: The gym is medium-ish in size compared to other gyms in the area; enough to hold one large group or two smaller sessions at the same time. The equipment is top notch. And the workout space is well maintained. There's also a small section for weight training, too. The Cost: I've visited other gyms with outrageous prices (like $200 a month for only Jiu-Jitsu!). Fortunately, tuition here is reasonably priced -- with options to drop-in, go month-to-month, or commit to 6 months or a full year. (The latter two doesn't mean you have to pay upfront, just that you'll be charged automatically for your chosen time frame and save more over the long term.) And considering those options give you unlimited classes for all of the martial arts classes, Rounders is totally worth it. Conclusion: Rounders MMA Fullerton is an ideal gym to join, whether you're looking to lose weight, learn some self-defense, or just belong to a cool community who will encourage and grow with you.
