Edit 8/5 You said "it doesn't reflect the truth of how you and your son were treated at my gym" Do you even know who I am and what you're talking about? There is no father and son, my father has nothing to do with this, Im 35 years old, I went in there alone You might actually have me confused with someone else I dont train there You don't remember or recognize me because you've never seen me in 5 months and I've never been back after the first $50 class (yet you've still been charging me $150 per month) You lied to me when we met in person, you said just fill out this form so I can run the $50 on the credit card AND you took the $50 cash. I understand your system, any credit card you get automatically turns into a subscription and you don't even know who I am I hope people see these these texts and see how rude you are and how genuinely nice I was Like I said in text if I end up having to pay for this $750 membership that I've never used then I hope you donate it to someone who really needs it I wish you peace To the students in your school, I wish them well, they were all great training partners that one night back in March

Joining Carrillo Muay Thai has honestly helped me a lot. ever since my dad bought me 2 months ago, I walked in with little experience and yea I was nervous but when my first class started something just clicked. The energy, the people, the way coaches talk to you, like they don't just shout but like really explaining it to the whole room, making it feel like you belong here. But Muay Thai has helped me so much in this short period of time because it pushes me for sure every class challenges me In ways I didn't know I needed. And CMT has given me a mentality to work harder, and there is something so powerful about showing up consistently sweating through the doubt and realizing little by little you have become a stronger person. But What makes Carrillo Muay Thai special isn't just the technique or the training it's the heart. The coaches care deeply, and the people train hard but lift each other up. It's not just a gym--it feels like home. If you're even remotely thinking about starting Muay Thai, or just looking for a space where you can be challenged and supported in equal measure, come to Carrillo Muay Thai It might just change your life too. Thank you coach Carrillo. assistant coach Danny and Jacob as well as Steve.

Just discovered this treasure, After watching some YouTube videos, exploring their website, and studying other local gyms, I decided to make this place my 10 year old's gym. My drive is about 30/35 min and well worth the gas. The Coaches are all awesome, very friendly, and welcoming, the location has plenty of parking and is very clean. My son really enjoys the ring and looks forward to training. Jean, is very informative and knowledgeable. Training for my son is three times a week, at first I thought my son was going to be overwhelmed with three day a week practice but enjoys the work out. My son has never been exposed to any kind of fight training and today he's a week in and his arm, stance and overall positioning has taken a toll for the positive. Thank you Carillo Muay Thai

carta de collection:cuidado

Collecting agency posted debt I owe to Carillo after I paid my previous month in cash. Carillo is a greedy man be aware and keep your senses woke. Doesn't even spar nor hold pads for his students. Negative experience all through out no future if he's the coach brings bad vibes and talks stupidity! Fused neck to spine and in the fighting business what a shame..retire old man do us all a favor!

Shame on him

Do you have classes for kids? My son is 11 years old.

Hey, Carillo sure does offer classes for kids and all ages. My son is 10 and just started his first class 2 weeks ago.

Can i do a 1 day trial?

depending on who you are, and what previous gyms you have trained before.

Within my first week here I already felt like family. Great environment, The coaches are amazing (Specifically Joe, Steve, and Miguel) I'm glad to have found a gym that I can call home. Couldn't recommend it enough! Would give 6 stars if possible

Bottom Line Up Front: I give this gym 5 out of 5 stars --…read moreand that says a lot because I've been training in martial arts since 1995 and am a certified instructor in multiple systems. But let me break it down as to why it gets my seal of approval. What You'll Learn: Rounders offers multiple martial arts: Boxing, Muay Thai (kickboxing), Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Kali (a Filipino knife-fighting system), and Mixed Martial Arts (which combines striking, wrestling, and Jiu-Jitsu). In the past they have also offered wrestling and Judo. So there's something for everyone. Regardless of what class you pick, you'll learn how to protect yourself while getting a great workout. What You'll Gain: Like I mentioned, you'll get a killer workout in a safe and fun environment. According to some studies, you could burn anywhere between 300 to 800 calories in a single 1-hour kickboxing class. It's far more efficient (and fun!) than running on a treadmill. And the added bonus is that you'll learn self-defense along the way. Who You'll Meet: From co-owner Joe Kim to all the other instructors, the coaches here are physically talented, knowledgeable, and easy-going despite being deadly warriors. They create a positive atmosphere so that everyone -- from brand new rookies to combat sports veterans -- has fun while learning. And that trickles down through to the students, who are all supportive and welcoming. The Space: The gym is medium-ish in size compared to other gyms in the area; enough to hold one large group or two smaller sessions at the same time. The equipment is top notch. And the workout space is well maintained. There's also a small section for weight training, too. The Cost: I've visited other gyms with outrageous prices (like $200 a month for only Jiu-Jitsu!). Fortunately, tuition here is reasonably priced -- with options to drop-in, go month-to-month, or commit to 6 months or a full year. (The latter two doesn't mean you have to pay upfront, just that you'll be charged automatically for your chosen time frame and save more over the long term.) And considering those options give you unlimited classes for all of the martial arts classes, Rounders is totally worth it. Conclusion: Rounders MMA Fullerton is an ideal gym to join, whether you're looking to lose weight, learn some self-defense, or just belong to a cool community who will encourage and grow with you.

OC Boxing - A little 1 on 1 with Coach Patrick

OC Boxing

At the moment of writing this, I am about 6 weeks into OC boxing. I simply cannot believe the…read moreprogress I've made so far as someone who is new to combat sport. I originally tried to learn this from home, but it was just not feasible and proved to be challenging without proper guidance. I tried out several gyms, however OC boxing just had the right vibe. It's diverse with many adults learners, so I did not feel like I'm learning with a bunch of high schoolers like other gyms. The beginner class is taught by coach Uy Long and coach Earnesto, they're both great at breaking down the fundamentals and give you the support needed. I started going to the morning (all levels) and evening (intermediate) class after about 3 weeks and that was where the real learning began because it involved sparring. The head coaches, Sean and George alternate between leading morning and evening class, so the lessons are completely different. Meaning, if you go twice a day, then you would be getting two different lessons. So in a week, you can get 11 different lessons if you got the time and energy. Sean and George are always present in both classes to demonstrate the offensive and defensive techniques in pairing session. The lessons are broken down into three segments, solo drills, paired drills, and sparring with partners. The classes are an hour long, I feel like I learn something new each time and get to apply it. Despite the morning class having fewer people (3-7 usually), Sean and George still put in the same attention and dedication that they do for the evening. I appreciate that the lessons are not repetitive, so it makes going twice a day worthwhile. For a beginner like me, it's easy to get demotivated if no progress is made. However, the coaches here really know their craft and the lessons are never boring. They're also very generous with letting me use their headgear while I was waiting for mine to arrive. I look forward attending the morning class everyday. Sometimes people stay back for extra sparring rounds so that's even better. Coach Uy Long specifically, has helped me progress tremendously over the last several weeks. He's given me a list of tools through our sparring matches that I've been able to utilize and fair better chances in all my sparring matches. The list goes from: feints, infighting, keeping the opponent's jab away, cutting off the opponent's path, keeping the opponent out of range with straight arms/jabs/flag hooks, and many more. These fundamentals have helped me stand my ground against people who have been here longer than me. Coach Uy Long is also generous with his feedbacks. It's very useful to receive feedback on things that could improve during sparring. Whether that is keeping guard up a certain way or keeping the hand out to block the jab, having those one or two additional feedbacks pave the way for the next sparring round. In the heat of a match, most people won't remember anything they learn in class. By having it pointed out explicitly, it helps you prioritize that action until it becomes a part of your boxing flow. This is how you slowly get better at anything in my opinion, applying one feedback at a time until it is ingrained and becomes part of your arsenal. He did this with infighting for me. This is completely unimaginable 6 weeks ago as I recall being hesitant to spar with people. The classes teach you the fundamentals, but sparring is where you get to apply those lessons. At the 6th week, head movement during sparring matches is finally starting to click for me. I'm looking forward to see where I'll be at the one year mark. I highly recommend OC boxing for people who started late and new to combat sports. The coaches know what they're doing and it's the right environment to foster boxing skills if you're willing to learn.
