Hibachi meal, available with Shrimp, Beef & Chicken, I choose Beef & Chicken and served with Gluten Free noodles and Gluten Free fried rice as requested. Conveniently located in the Timberlane plaza, near a large medical group practice, and Timberlane Chiropractic (see review). The interior of the restaurant was a bit dark for my vibe, so I ate out on the patio, which was lovely. Service was pretty good considering I was the only person dining outside, but could have been a bit more attentive. Very interesting menu options, and very reasonably priced at the 3:00 PM happy hour. Not the "best and freshest" sushi I've ever had, but still top notch given the rural FL, inland location. I'll admit that I'm a sushi snob after living in Portland, Oregon, and Boca Raton, FL. I reserve a 5-star rating for sushi that really knocks my socks off. That said, World Fusion offers some of the best sushi I've had in this locale, and gets bonus points for creativity. Posting a photo of the outstanding truffle deviled eggs I enjoyed there, which stand out as the BEST I've ever had. Worth a stop just to check those out, IMO. read more

Absolutely phenomenal experience. The food was outstanding from start to finish. The bang bang shrimp were enormous -- literally the size of chicken legs -- incredibly fresh, crispy, and delicious. I also ordered a volcano sushi roll that came with about ten generous pieces, and every bite was flavorful and perfectly prepared. The crab Rangoon was clearly made to order with fresh crab, not the imitation kind, and you could taste the difference immediately. Everything we had tasted homemade and made from scratch, which is rare and so appreciated. The service was excellent -- friendly, attentive, and welcoming -- and the atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant. I will definitely be going back. Our first visit to Citrus County, my wife and I stopped at World Fusion for our evening meal, I must say it was very good. All meals are made to order so service may take longer than usual, but it is well worth it. If you like unique flavors, try one of their monthly specials. The only drawback is the parking lot. they are in a little mall area where much of the lot is reserved for the businesses. But after 5:00PM, the lot is completely open and World Fusion gets very busy. Please be patient, it's worth it. read more

They have monthly specials and give back to the community, which I love! I once had a coffee rubbed steak with Gorgonzola macaroni and cheese and it was amazing!!! It is always busy but we have always managed to get a seat in a timely manner. Staff are always attentive and the food is served hot! Unfortunately, the entrees didn't live up to the promise tonight. The fried rice is a letdown--bland and lacking any real appeal. Worse still, the main dish comes across as overly salty, with a flavor profile that just doesn't work. It's disappointing because the rest of the experience starts so strong, only to stumble where it matters most. Overall, World Fusion has a lot going for it, but the entrees drag it down. It's a real shame to leave feeling let down after such a great beginning. If they can improve the quality of their main dishes to match the appetizers and drinks, this place could really shine. For now, it's a mixed bag--proceed with cautious optimism. The service was great, the manager came out and comped the main dishes and gave us a gift card. We will definitely give it another shot.
