Absolutely phenomenal experience. The food was outstanding from start to finish. The bang bang shrimp were enormous -- literally the size of chicken legs -- incredibly fresh, crispy, and delicious. I also ordered a volcano sushi roll that came with about ten generous pieces, and every bite was flavorful and perfectly prepared. The crab Rangoon was clearly made to order with fresh crab, not the imitation kind, and you could taste the difference immediately. Everything we had tasted homemade and made from scratch, which is rare and so appreciated. The service was excellent -- friendly, attentive, and welcoming -- and the atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant. I will definitely be going back. Conveniently located in the Timberlane plaza, near a large medical group practice, and Timberlane Chiropractic (see review). The interior of the restaurant was a bit dark for my vibe, so I ate out on the patio, which was lovely. Service was pretty good considering I was the only person dining outside, but could have been a bit more attentive. Very interesting menu options, and very reasonably priced at the 3:00 PM happy hour. Not the "best and freshest" sushi I've ever had, but still top notch given the rural FL, inland location. I'll admit that I'm a sushi snob after living in Portland, Oregon, and Boca Raton, FL. I reserve a 5-star rating for sushi that really knocks my socks off. That said, World Fusion offers some of the best sushi I've had in this locale, and gets bonus points for creativity. We have been several times and have always enjoyed the food and our experience! My husband has had the sushi and salmon. I am not much of a sushi fan, so I will usually have the boursin steak. They have monthly specials and give back to the community, which I love! I once had a coffee rubbed steak with Gorgonzola macaroni and cheese and it was amazing!!! It is always busy but we have always managed to get a seat in a timely manner. Staff are always attentive and the food is served hot! It's a real shame to leave feeling let down after such a great beginning. If they can improve the quality of their main dishes to match the appetizers and drinks, this place could really shine.
