I have eaten octopus my entire life and this was clearly previously frozen and aged out after thawing. It had a rancid smell and texture was hard, not chewy. They covered it in Ponzu to hide it but no amount of sauce could fix this. I took one bite and sent it back fearing I would risk food poisoning if I consumed it. Dinner came out and tbe portions were skimpy and the steak was overcooked. Rather than complain I thought I would cut my losses and simply not come back. Then the bill came and they left the rancid octopus on the check. I asked why and I was told the chef prepared it right so I would be billed. Had to get a manager involved to get it taken off. Serious disappointment with this place. If you come here, stick to common ingredients that turn over regularly because old spoiled food will find its way to your plate before it finds a trash can where it belongs.
