Fried ravioli (comes with 8 - we'd already taken 4)
Greg J.

Wasn't very impressed. Didn't really care for the food. Started with fried ravioli. They were way over cooked. And the meat dipping sauce was thin and didn't have much flavor. I got chicken parm. It too, was over cooked and came with the same very thin, kind of tasteless meat sauce. Oddly, the slice of cheese on it wasn't really melted. The side Caesar salad had good lettuce but just had Parmesan cheese from a shaker, would have been much better with shaved cheese. My wife did like her pizza so maybe that's the thing to order here? Service was good and it does have a nice setting.

7" thick crust pepperoni pizza

Swung in for lunch during the week hoping to find a good pizza spot for lunch...but this unfortunately wouldn't be a place I will add to my "must stop list.". I thought the bruschetta was ok, but do not use much olive oil but rather mixed their tomatoes with balsamic vinaigrette which I am not much of a fan. Got a 7" thick crust pizza for my meal, let's just say I thought the bruschetta was 10x better which doesn't give much confidence in the pizza. I am a big sauce guy, I felt the sauce was very bland, cheese didn't get me there either. Nice atmosphere but will not be a place I stop by for pizza or bruschetta again. I was definitely bummed with the food. (Got the lunch special 7" pizza & salad w/ drink and added the bruschetta - paid $28 after tip)

I had to travel to this area for work and did a search for anything good that was still open. This place was my only option. The restaurant was nice and clean. You could tell that it was a local spot as they owner seems to know everyone. So, he also knew we were from out of town. I got the lasagna. It was pretty good yet I was not a fan of the sauce.

Sampler Platter, so good.. the fried ravioli was to die for

The service was excellent, we sat at the bar. The food was good , next time we're getting the fried ravioli. And the ambience was nice. We talked to the people at the bar but it wasn't loud or obnoxious or anything like that. We will definitely be back.

This place! I honestly couldn't believe just how delicious it was or what I was experiencing in VINCENNES, Indiana!!! If it wasn't a couple hours away, I would be a "frequent flyer" at this establishment. So glad I have leftovers to devour today! If you are ANYWHERE near, you MUST visit my new friend, Procopio! If you are a couple hours away, you MUST make the trip and treat yourself. #Getlostindiana

Stuffed Pizza with a bottle of cab!

Procopio's never disappoints! It is our staple go-to for any pizza or pasta in Vincennes. Their menu is fairly extensive and they're typically packed, but the food always manages to come out hot and in a timely manner. I especially love their new addition to the restaurant, which includes a bar room for 21 and older, as well as a "garage room" where they open the doors for fresh air and patio seating during nice weather. I highly recommend their stuffed pizza, lasagna, or pasta rosa, and their alfredo is to-die-for!! The cool thing is that you can basically mix and match any pasta with any sauce. The world is your oyster! Couple that with a cocktail, wine or beer and top it off with a cannoli, and BOOM!! Great lunch specials and a quick lunch service is also a plus! Also offering: Large Parties Delivery Catering Oh.... and cleanest restaurant I've ever been to!!

This is a very nice, but expensive, restaurant. I'm not a…read moremeat eater, but they have meals for everyone. This is the sort of place to go for special occasions. There is a "fine dining" competitor in the same fourth street walk, which is a very amiable area, just two blocks of cobblestone, with a lot of shops. The competitor is geared more for the meat eaters IMO, and this one more for everyone. There are other eateries, and Huntingburg is a very amiable place for tourists. Dubois County is noted for being a place where people place high value on being good hosts, and that is reflected in the diners. I've only been there once, because this is a "special occasion" restaurant. I was with a lot of relatives. I had a wild caught salmon dish that was excellent. We also had wine. Very nice experience. It is fine dining, though.

We saw Mama T's while perusing Huntingburgs cute little downtown and decided to give it a try. We…read moredidn't have a reservation, but we will be sure to reserve next time. And there will be a next time! The vibe was cute, cozy. The menu was perfectly simple with Italian staples, an amazing steak selection and some specials. We ordered the portobello mushroom appetizer - it was so good that we needed a second one! We shared the surf and turf special. Everything was perfectly seasoned and cooked perfectly. We enjoyed delicious happy hour beverages and then decided to order desert, despite being stuffed. We opted for the blondie with ice cream and holy moly! It was so amazing that I had to order one to go for my sister haha. The chef came out and we had to shake his hand. Not to be dramatic, but this is one of the best restaurants we've found in Southern Indiana thus far.

I had been hearing about this restaurant since I first started working in Terre Haute so I finally…read moredecided to try it. It was good. I am writing about a delivery, so I can't comment on the restaurant itself. I took a star off because they did not provide any utensils or napkins in the delivery bag which made for a delayed meal since I had to go searching for a fork. The garden salad was very good. So crisp and fresh. The tomatoes were yummy, and I liked the surprise of celery amoungst the greens. The greens were mixed and not just iceberg which elevated the salad quite a bit. I always say I judge an Italian restaurant by their sauce, and this one was ok. Very sweet. Not thick. It wanted for something. I ordered the half portion of angel hair pasta, and it was still a very generous amount. I added a meatball which tasted more like an Italian sausage in a ball with a bit of spice and a chewier consistency. I wasn't mad at it, but it wasn't the seasoned ground beef crumble I expected. All in all, the meal was good, just lacking in some of things I expected from a place everyone seemed to like about it. I would probably go back and maybe try some of the other dishes next time I am in Terre Haute, if only to see if maybe it was just that order.

This is one of our favorite restaurants in the country! We have been here probably 4 or 5 times…read moresince it opened. We have a place not far from here but live full time in Texas. My wife was spending some time up here and drove up to surprise her for her birthday! Reservations at the counter so we could watch Chef Geno work his magic! The food is usually spectacular and tonight did not disappoint! We split the Caesar Salad to start which was plenty. And then I had the Pasta Rags and my wife had the Pasta Carbonara. Both were as good as they looked! Perfection! No splitting dessert! I had the Tiramisu and she had the Chocolate Cake. Both to die for! It's byob so bring a nice bottle of wine and round out the experience. As Chef Geno says..."Cheaper than a plane ticket to Italy!"

The bad: The wait staff was not very engaged. I wanted this review to be about the food but that just wasn't meant to be. The Ugly: I am very well travelled on 3 continents. I've dined elegantly as well as from street vendors and I have NEVER had service that was this off putting to the point of being overtly rude, and I am an American who has eaten in France and doesn't speak much French. When we wouldn't sit at the bar, even though the main area was only 1/4 occupied They moved our party of 2 into the side room with chairs up on tables. It went downhill from there. Due to this, it wasn't possible to really enjoy what should have been a fine meal. I will say it is a wise policy to ask for payment and tip ahead of this type of service before it is provided.

The ambience is a mixture of a French restaurant meeting an Italian restaurant somehow looking like an American Diner with a menu that had a little of everything. Our server was very attentive even though the restaurant was full and she seemed to be the only server. She was delightful and gave us good recommendations. My coworker ordered a Caprese Panini and a Caesar salad. Obviously this wasn't my recommendation if you've read any of my other reviews! She said it was a great sandwich but wasn't a fan of the homemade chips. I was impressed that she didn't give me the stink eye when I explained my need to photograph her food :) I had the lunch portion of chicken parmesean that was really good. Nice portion of chicken and pasta and a great flavor - I would definitely order it again. Oddly, this came with a side of my choice just like the sandwich menu. I chose a side of fries and they were ok fries. Nothing Earth shattering but not bad. It's a great lunch option at a reasonable price and I'd return if I found myself in the area. Where else can I get a burger, a tenderloin, an order of onion rings and a fettuccine Alfredo all from the same place!?
