The competitor is geared more for the meat eaters IMO, and this one more for everyone. There are other eateries, and Huntingburg is a very amiable place for tourists. Dubois County is noted for being a place where people place high value on being good hosts, and that is reflected in the diners. I've only been there once, because this is a "special occasion" restaurant. I was with a lot of relatives. I had a wild caught salmon dish that was excellent. We also had wine. Very nice experience. It is fine dining, though.

I added a meatball which tasted more like an Italian sausage in a ball with a bit of spice and a chewier consistency. I wasn't mad at it, but it wasn't the seasoned ground beef crumble I expected. We've been coming here for a while now. We make reservations on Open Table and there is never a problem being seated right away. The service is always excellent. They have rotating specials and a menu that stays the same for the most part. If you're not sure, ask the waiter. They are very knowledgeable and have excellent recommendations based on what you are wanting. Some of our favorites to order are the Burrata, Toasted Ravioli, Ricotta Gnocchi, Sorbet, and Tiramisu Cheesecake. Give Iozzo's a try and I know you won't regret it!
