    Hanging out with my daughter.
    Yolanda R.

Had a delicious berry cider and my daughter enjoyed her high life beer. Snacks are what's on the food menu: pretzels and chips. The jalapeño chips and the pretzels made an awesome combo with our drinks. This place has a beer garden on the street level with "Erica's Soul Food " food truck available with lots of food options (vegan too); and, the crinkle fríes with Cajun seasoning were hot and scrumptious!! Service is good, too. Ambiance is loud, but enjoyable. It's a three story building/house with lots of seating, books to read and lots of cool and friendly clientele.

We really enjoyed Workers Tap. The service is attentive, the selection is good, and the ambiance is very relaxed. There are small indoor and outdoor spaces, which feel intimate and unique. Recommended.

A good cider and a good book in the upstairs library

A great, cozy new bar with a vintage feel in a 1904 Victorian house, with an excellent selection of interesting beers on 19 taps and a diverse collection of excellent books available for reading in the upstairs library. I really appreciate that the beers are mostly non-IPAs, with a focus on high quality, interesting, tasty, harder to find options. If I was local I'd be a regular. Employee/ worker owned, with (as you might guess) a focus on the Oregon labor movement and justice.

Love the vibes here! Great service and even better coffee! Serves baked goods as well. Definitely coming back.

Great beer and only spot in town where you're guaranteed to hear folks talking about the stuff you care about.

    Do they serve food?

They don't! But Michael's Italian Beef is nearby, and I hear they've recently partnered with some food carts

Loyal Legion is that kind of place, with the sort of dark, woody vibe that screams legacy, but without the pretension or airs. The tap list is long, deep and well-curated with mostly local taps, and their whisky wall is very well stocked indeed. Cocktail program is robust, the menu is a hearty mix of drinking food (brats and pretzels) and pub grub (burgers and fries) with sandos and salads thrown in for balance. If you're a beer snob, there's no better place IMO. Street parking can be a bit sketch though.

If you're into discovering great local beers and ciders, this place is a dream -- there's always something new and exciting to try. The food is just as impressive.
