The first clerk I asked to sell me a pass fumbled around and could not log into a computer. He made an odd, childish sounding call to another clerk. That person came and the two of them would have been comical to watch, if not so sad. After about 5 minutes, clerk 2 called his manager. I had the dubious please of listening to first questions about the computer ( I could tell it was not good news of some type), then a long conversation about sales, socks and things the clerk was to do. It was very clear the customer standing awkwardly in their store was not important. So, after the call, I'd been in the store 10-15 minutes. The clerk addresses me, while looking down and to his left, like he was afraid of me. I had NOT said a single word at this point. He gave a long-winded excuse, this was a known issue, they had submitted tickets, they simply had to call the state and get it fixed. I simply said OK and left to find another store and by my pass. This store needs training and a manager shake up. To not post the computer was broke (so I would not drive there in the first place), to not notify staff, to not care about the customer standing there while they were talking socks and sales.... Everything that is wrong about retail training and service is endemic to this store.

They always have good prices and quality of shoes, and UNLIKE Target, they have Men shoes! Yay! They also have a good selection of camping stuff, hunting, and fishing and whatever else a active outdoor life needs :) I do think this store has real friendly and helpful employees as well.

Easily accessible and there are signs, just not flashy ones. I believe they close at about 4 on Fridays. Very knowledgeable and easy going. Super professional and does a great job of diagnosing and addressing the problem. Called with questions and he answered them no issue. He was super accommodating so I stopped in at my first opportunity. The shop sells bike supplies and tools. I believe they sell bikes as well, but it's pretty much a one stop shop for all things bicycle. It's a smaller space, but big enough to get the job done and some. I brought in my daughter's bike that I couldn't fix and he quickly went to work. He was very thorough and meticulous with the issue I presented, but he also gave the entire bike a good look over. He tightened everything up for me and we are back on the road. I got the education I needed if I had future issues with the bike and pricing was super affordable! He didn't try to upsell a bunch of stuff or recommend other services. Very efficient and personable. I'm more than happy with the result and my daughter is back outside in the sunshine riding her bike. Might bring over my sons and get a tune up as well. I'd recommend him to anyone and everyone 10 times over. This should be your bike repair spot from now on if you're in the Puyallup area.
