I got a 3 month package last year during their promotion. Sadly, the sessions didn't do much for…read moreme. I was hoping laser treatments would help with my rosacea. I wasn't trying to treat wrinkles or remove freckles. If anything, the laser worsened my rosacea and made my already sensitive skin more sensitive. The receptionists/sales ladies were always very friendly. However, the main issue I had was the inconsistency with expertise. I had a different technician at every session and received very different information and advice. One technician literally refused to laser my face that day because my skin was already agitated, whereas previous technicians proceeded anyway. Some technicians (including some receptionists) strongly suggested the "duo" treatment, which ended up aggravating my skin and resulted in a couple of surprise zits. Interestingly enough, the technician at a later session told me I should NOT get the duo as it would be too much for my skin and I didn't need it. Inconsistencies. Case in point. So, while I don't think this business deserves a one star review, I do agree that it's definitely not for everyone. I also really disliked being asked to tip at the end of every session. Despite the initial promo, the treatments were still quite expensive. Call me the cheap a-hole all you want, but I never did leave a tip. I didn't get any results. I also don't tip my dentist and those cleanings require more skill.

Not only is she very knowledgeable about different skin concerns, and facial products, so goes into each facial with care and intention. She goes above and beyond to make the experience feel special from start to finish. From cleaning the face, to a gentle touch extraction, applying a hydrating and calming masks, using only top of the line products. My favorite add on's are the diamond glow, derma-planing and red light. Jenna efficiently provides these add ons for the best results within the facial time. Each time afterwards my skin is super smooth, glowy and my pores and dullness diminish. It is a real treat / self care expense that is highly worth it. I highly recommend Jenna to do your next facial at Facile for the best possible experience and results. Also check her out on IG if you're curious! @esthie.Spinelli

About two weeks ago, I had facial balancing done with filler, and the results are subtle, but noticeable in the best way ever. I just feel refreshed and still completely like myself. Just a better version. Betty started my appointment with such a thorough consultation. She took the time to explain how the aging process can affect different areas of the face, and together we came up with both a short and long term plan that felt right for me. We treated my temples, cheeks, and jawline. Healing process wasn't bad at all. Just a little tenderness and soreness, which I was told was expected. I'm so happy with how everything came together and am really looking forward to continuing this journey with Betty. If you're considering facial balancing, I definitely recommend having a consultation with her!

NIGHTMARE RESULTS!!…read more LA SKIN beauty butchered my face!! I've been getting Botox for 7 years now and have never had these kind of results. I am very sensitive about extreme alterations to my face, so I have been careful to only go to plastic surgeons and Dermatologist for all of my injections. My regular doctors were booked up and I was desperate for an immediate appointment. I thought I should let my guard down and try something new and go to a Medi spa like everyone else does and not be such a snob about having to have a doctor inject me. So I went online and LA skin beauty kept popping up everywhere I would look. It looked like a chain and that made me a bit nervous because they had so many locations and such a massive staff, but I thought to myself they must hire the best of the best because they have such a big reputation to protect so I went for it. I gave them a call and somehow they had an appointment as early as 30 minutes away available for me. They also had 10 other appointments all scattered throughout the day that was available for me to take, which should have been a red flag for me to begin with. Most of the injectors I visit are booked for months in advance, but this one was available within 30 minutes. I went ahead and booked the appointment because I was desperate. The injector Betty, was so lovely and nice and spent so much time with me explaining all of the things that she could do to help me with my problem areas. I trusted her and told her to do what would be best to solve my issues. I like to let professionals do what they do best. Or so that's how LA skin beauty portrays itself! She gave me almost 80 units of Botox throughout my entire face and neck. A number that I had never had before. I paid my nearly $1000 bill and went home to only wake up 48 hours later with a crooked mouth. I contacted Betty immediately and sent her a picture and a video showing her that I was having a difficult time speaking, and that the right side of my mouth was not opening properly. She suggested that maybe I did something to my own face. After realizing that is an impossibility, there was still no admission of her injecting the wrong muscle. Instead, she suggested that the Botox must have seeped into a neighboring muscle, which caused the paralysis on one side of my face. I am clearly distraught and have to live with this for the next three months of having a crooked smile, difficulty speaking, difficulty eating, and even difficulty kissing my husband. I can't go to out with my friends! I can't talk to my clients!! I've had to cancel two video shots! This is crazy!! They ruined my life in a matter of minutes!! I was absolutely mortified and asked for a refund. I am the type of woman who doesn't even return a sweater. I rather give things away, but it felt like such an injustice and a true crime to charge a customer all this money and destroy their face!! It's just WRONG!! It's been three weeks now and I have had 10 different phone tag conversations with two different managers who have offered me $200 and free visit to their North Hollywood office for micro Current treatment, which is medically known to NOT help get rid of Botox. I also work full-time and live in Pasadena so how could I inconvenience my life any further and drive out to North Hollywood every three days to receive a treatment that won't help. Is this how they get patience off their back? Please save yourself the embarrassment and humiliation of having any injections done at LA skin beauty. I have to walk around for the next three months looking like I have suffered a massive stroke. It is humiliating. It is demeaning. It has added to already existing insecurities that I went to LA skin beauty to resolve. Such a shame, they can do this to women and get away with it. Ladies stay away from the big box Botox! Go to a known and trusted source!

It even smelled amazing. Even the bathroom felt luxe and thoughtful, which says a lot about the care they put into the space. My esthetician was wonderful. The whole experience felt pampering and soothing, even the extractions (yes, you read that right!). My one teeny tiny wish is that I would have loved more explanation as she went along about the products and steps being used. I would have happily splurged on skincare to take home if I had known what was on my face. That said, my skin was absolutely glowing when I left. It felt refreshed, hydrated, and just happy. Dehydration is usually my main issue, and this facial hit the reset button. Other little details I appreciated were the super convenient parking structure across the street. That's always a plus especially in Old Town Pasadena. Bottom line: if you are into self-care and skincare, this is your spot. I will definitely be back for another facial, maybe even to try a different treatment next time.

My skin looked glowy for the rest of the day, but I woke up to no discernible difference. I'm not looking for miracles, but facials I've had in the past I can see the after effects of for at least a few weeks. Some turn-offs: -I could hear someone having a word-for-word, extremely loud conversation nearby the entire time -the neck/shoulder massage portion felt rough. I wasn't asked how the pressure felt once. -after the facial, I was immediately upsold to purchase skincare. I had to ask about the prices. I was also gently pressured to sign up for a monthly membership immediately, which is kind of wild for a first-time experience. I'm definitely looking for an aesthetician to form a regular relationship with, but I don't think this place will be it.

I originally came in looking for a HydraFacial, but what I received was a next-level spa treatment that was absolutely worth it. Kathy was amazing. She made me feel comfortable immediately, answered all my questions, and had such a calm and friendly demeanor. The session began with a detailed skin analysis to identify pigmentation, sensitivity, and other areas of concern. From there, she took me through several stages of cleansing, steam, treatments, and extractions. I had a stubborn clogged spot under my skin that had been there for almost three months, and Kathy was finally able to extract it. Four days later, the area is completely healed and the mark is barely visible. She followed the extraction with a tea tree gel to help cleanse and soothe the area, along with other products that left my skin feeling hydrated and refreshed. The entire hour was incredibly relaxing. Between the music, the rainy Pasadena weather, and Kathy's technique, I even warned her that I might start snoring because I was beginning to fall asleep. Everything went amazing, per usual!…read more I have been seeing Marina for a decade! She deserves the 5 star rating she has on Yelp! I was in yelp elite for a while (six years, I believe), but then got lazy on writing reviews. Sorry Yelp! However, my personal Yelp laziness aside, Marina is an extremely qualified nurse practitioner and knowledgeable on every procedure she offers. Her hobby literally is going to trainings. She LOVES what she does and this (working on faces) is her modality of art. She is truly GIFTED! Marina is an adept professional. She is completely transparent regarding what a procedure can and cannot do for you. As well as what she charges (it's all listed on her website: https://www.marinasoasis.com). I'm turning 52 next month and have included a couple recent pics taken 5/26/26 because I look better now than a decade ago. If you are interested in perfect aesthetics execution while talking about BTS, k-dramas and the best Chinese restaurant in the area, go to Marina...oh, she also knows which bakeries sell mooncakes year round, Marina should be your "go-to" provider. I absolutely trust Marina. I've tried to push her to turn up the ResurFX laser and she said "no, because i don't want to burn you or bring out any hyperpigmentation". She cares about her patients and is conservative when it comes to treatments. Like for botox and filler, you can always get more later. Dissolving filler hurts WAY more than getting it. I know this from first hand experience when my filler migrated a little above my upper lip line - very common since we move our mouths a lot every day. Her injection technique (usually by cannula, so I never get bruising) is flawless. Ive never had bumps in my lips like I've heard other people complaining about from other providers, i generally look great leaving her office and basically never get bruising, even though I hear it's very common. She also will warn me of anything that may cause hyperpigmentation since I'm Asian and have an olive skin tone. I love that she is completely aware of what will cause hyperpigmentation in skin of all ethnicities. This reminds me, I need to book a botox and ResurFX laser appointment with her...lol Truly amazing woman, tons of knowledge about everything, She is the best Master Injector and Aesthetics Provider that i have ever met and had the pleasure of her work done on me. Thank you so much for all your hard work, Marina. Im never going to go anywhere else. I would be stupid if I did.. lol I look better now than 10 years ago, all thanks to you!
