    Vegetable panini

I think the highlight of my order was actually my mint mocha Frappuccino. I was actually surprised to see how good this Frappuccino was. I thought that it was very minty. It was decently sweet and it was right amount for a dessert or even just to get takeout just for that one drink, I would definitely drink that in the morning and even for dessert I'd also probably come back to this restaurant just for their Frappuccino's because they had such a large selection of drinks that you could get with many different flavors in fact, they even had a Ube flavor that I was planning on trying. they are also have a pretty good selection of teas that I think you can make into a frappe as well which was kind of unique as far as the Panini goes that I got I thought that was a decent Panini. I thought that it was something that I could get again. The only thing was I felt like it was a bit watery just because of the vegetables inside of it that made a bit watery. I thoughttst the French toast was decent. I would definitely order the French toast again it was sweet. It had some jelly jam on it. That tasted pretty good. It wasn't a five star French toast, but I felt like it really hit the Maf h as far as getting something more of a diner vibe French toast and they also have a rotating menu where a were different items changed every week and they have different specials so it's nice to kind of try a new flavor of French toast or breakfast every time I think if I was to go back again, which I probably will I probably just go for the coffee or the Frappuccino or even I'd get a French toast and Frappuccino just because I like those little bit more than just Panini.

Woody's took over from the previous tenant and created a coffee space for Catawissa--extra points off the bat. Due to its limited hours and seating it's worth noting it maintains the Diner atmosphere so if you're dead set on the usual vibe for a coffee shop, this one's different. Offering coffee flights as a menu item is a neat way to generate customer interest. Breakfast ticks all the boxes. Changing consumer patterns undoubtedly contribute to the tighter window but expanded hours and additional focus on their coffee business would easily make this place one of the best stops in the county. Hopefully some day soon I'll be coming back for that five.

Woody's is a Breakfast/Lunch restaurant located on Main Street in Catawissa with parking on the street. Interior has a decent amount of seating and is decorated with local/old collectables. They also seasonally offer outdoor seating. Has a full coffee bar along with serving Pepsi products. Daily specials will be up on the chalkboard. Menu is relativity basic with breakfast and various sandwiches. Breakfast offers decent portions; burgers are reasonably sized and come with chips. Service tends to fine, but you will run into occasional slowness on an off day. Overall, Woody's is a good place to stop for some food.

Recommended to us by a local officer at a public event outside of Bloomsburg, Woody's did not disappoint. We camped in Catawissa for about 48 hours give or take. During that time we ate in twice and got something to take home. With inside and outside dining it appeared they're popular with the locals. The place was busy but the wait for service and our meals was appropriate. The inside was decorated with an interesting array of antique relics and memorabilia from the surrounding areas. Our waitresses got our orders right, was friendly and efficient. The food was fresh, portion sizes above average, and had a nice variety to their menu. They have some funny names to some of their dishes including "the morning woody", a breakfast sandwhich, which really cracked my husband up. There's funny signage in the rest rooms as well. Parking is a bit funky, on the street and off to the side, ONLY when church is not in session. The coffee offerings were pretty hip and not expected in this small rural town. Will definately hit up this joint next time we're in the area!

Wasn't impressed with their breakfast at all. Wait staff was not accommodating for our "large" party (table of 8). The sausage gravy taste like it came out of a jar. Bacon was as hard as a brick. The coffee flights are creative but overall wasn't the best experience.

Perfect spot for lunch on our way to Knoebel's. Fresh, delicious food and prompt, friendly service. Our party of 3 adults and 2 children took advantage of the dog-friendly outdoor seating. Our server brought out a high chair without being asked and was very attentive to the children. Breakfast portions were generous. My half size Buffalo Mess, served in a cast iron skillet, was almost more than I could eat. The classic egg breakfasts were perfectly done. There are lots of choices for pancakes and French toast, and they all the ones we saw at other tables looked fabulous, as did the frappes and other espresso drinks.

This place is a breakfast gem! Service is good but it definitely gets chaotic. The seating is a bit odd and the turnover is frequent. The waiting staff seems to handle it to the best of their abilities. The busy atmosphere should speak volumes of how great the food is though. Been here a couple times and shared this exact same meal with my girlfriend both times. It was consistently delicious. The cinnamon bun pancakes are filling yet airy with all the things you love about a cinnamon bun with none of the drawbacks (how few there are). The omelette is delicious with a decently complex flavor. The tomato, parm, and cheesy veggie inside all work together very well. It was seasoned to my liking, including the potatoes. Overall if you are within a general radius of this place and haven't stopped I would definitely suggest a visit!

After looking up this restaurant on Google, I was so enamored by their unique menu, especially their Weeds & Seeds Salad that I was dying to dine at this Farm to Table Restaurant. Thankfully, my sweet coworkers made my wish come true! We were a large group of 8 and shared the: 1) Local Cheese Plate (Changes daily, we had Aged Cheddar, Starlight, St. Malachi, and the Black & Blue; $14) 2) Beets W/ Goat Cheese and Dill ($7) The starters we ordered were all so delicious! Of the cheeses, my favorite was the St. Malachi. I've never tried this one before and it was so flavorful, a bit tender and nutty. You have to try this if you haven't yet! For myself, of course I had to order the Weeds & Seeds Salad (Wild Salad Mix, Sunflower Seeds, Pumpkin Seeds, Bee Pollen, Edible Blossoms, Honey Mustard Vinaigrette; $8). This salad was a dream, to say the least! Not only did it look beautiful, but it tasted amazing! It was unlike any salad I have ever tried before. I loved the light Honey Mustard Vinaigrette and the touch of Bee Pollen. For my main dish, I ordered the Rainbow Trout (Trout Filets Dusted with Sumac and Pan Seared Topped with Vanilla Buerre Blanc and Red Raspberry Gastrique; $25) W/ Hot Greens and Cold Veggie as my two accompaniments. The trout was so delectable and unique. I loved the taste of the vanilla with the raspberry together, such complementary flavors! The Hot Greens and Cold Veggie were also really delicious. For dessert I tried their Shiso-Basil Creme Brulee ($6). Can I just say, what a marvelous combo? I am obsessed with Shiso leaves, but have only had them with sashimi. Never have I seen it used in a dessert. This Creme Brulee just tasted so perfect that I wanted to order another one, but didn't want my coworkers to judge me haha. The chef here is just so talented and the customer service was outstanding. The interior of the restaurant is so charming, a bit rustic and minimalistic and I loved the touch of fresh flavors at every table. Could not praise nor express my love for this restaurant more. Thank you for such a lovely and unique experience The Blind Pig! I hope to dine here again one day!

We went a few Sundays in the late spring and had a good experience. When Knoebel's opened, the experience went downhill. We drew the line when we went in on a Sunday where large groups were present, and they apparently had no clue on buffet etiquette, or just didn't care. Cleanliness and food safety are huge to me after I got horrible food poisoning at another buffet in the area and spent 4 days in the ICU with it. While the buffet area itself was clean and the food was to temperature, there were many patrons taking dirty plates back up. We notified our server who just looked at us and kind-of shrugged and walked away. My husband approached one of them and said, "Please don't keep taking dirty plates back up to the buffet.". One of them chastised him and told him he was "nuts" and that he was lying that it's not OK to do that. Plates are not at the buffet - the server brings them, and will bring two sets at the beginning, and then will replenish when needed. When we left, we informed another server that it was gross to do that and they're opening themselves up for issues if the health department stopped by, she asked why we didn't say anything. We said that we did but the server didn't seem to care. She yelled "I care!" from behind a door, but that was enough for us to opt to not return until Knoebel's was closed for the year. We suggested that they consider keeping the plates at the buffet area to discourage that. We decided to try again recently. Not only was there a large group there taking their dirty plates back up, but they were also taking dirty utensils up and using them. I was 3/4 through my plate when I saw that and refused to eat any more. My husband again said something to them, and they just pretended as if he didn't hear. We again said something to the server and suggested that they need to put signs up saying to not take dirty plates back up, or again to put plates at the buffet, but I'm fairly confident nothing will be done. There are other reviews out there that bring up questions of cleanliness, which is concerning. Unsure whether we'll try to return or not. At 10 am, much of the hot side of the buffet was empty, and not restocked while we were there, which is another strike.

The restaurant had everything set up for us and the wait staff was great! Appetizers were ordered and the clams, and chicken wings came out cold. The chef came out and explained that the kitchen did not have the same type of heating as the restaurant and he was freezing back there. He said the heat lamps could not keep up with the cold temperatures, so he had no control over serving cold food. He said he would remove them from the bill for us. Seemed like a very odd explanation. I ordered seafood linguine but received seafood risotto. They offered to remake it quick but I declined since everyone else had their food. For the price of the plate I expected more than 2 scallops quartered and 5-6 shrimp. The taste was fine but I did not eat the risotto. The French onion soup was served with a puff pastry topper, lacked cheese, and had a brown sugar taste (very sweet). This is very different from any other French onion soup recipe that I have tried. I would not order it again as it did not meet my definition of French onion soup but you can be the judge of you try it. Mixed drinks were very good. Based on plate cost, food quality, and value, I provided a rating of 2/5

A means of keeping the customers alive just long enough to extract their last dollar before they collapse from either exhilaration or dehydration. And so, in most places, you get the standard issue amusement park fare: a limp hamburger at the price of a used bicycle, a pretzel harder than the pavement beneath it, a soda that costs more than your father's first car. But not at Knoebels. At Knoebels, they believe food is part of the show, an act unto itself. So much so that they have won multiple Golden Ticket Awards for Best Amusement Park Food in the Nation, which is the closest thing we have to a Nobel Prize for deep-fried brilliance. (Yes, Dollywood is in the conversation, but Dollywood is playing catch-up, while Knoebels is out there setting the pace.) Here, you can have a full sit-down meal at The Oasis, where the air is thick with the scent of home-cooked comfort. You can grab an ice cream (sort serve or hand scooped) that, defying all odds, is better than 90% of what you'd find outside th park gates. You can walk up to a stand and, depending on your mood, leave with perogies, pulled pork, fresh-cut fries, or a funnel cake so perfectly crisp and golden that you will wonder if it was fried by angels. And unlike every other amusement park that keeps the menu unchanged since the days of the Industrial Revolution, Knoebels is always tinkering, always innovating, always adding something new, because they know that the best way to keep winning is to never stop trying. And here's the kicker: Knoebels doesn't have to do any of this. They could serve overpriced slop and force you to buy it, like most every other park does. But they don't. Instead, they do something radical. They let you bring in your own food, encourage it even. They even provide free picnic areas. It's an act of either extreme confidence or benevolent madness. But here's what happens: people eat the Knoebels food anyway. Because it is that good. So if you ever find yourself in Elysburg, PA, and you hear the distant clatter of a wooden roller coaster, follow it. Eat a meal that doesn't taste like an obligation. Eat a meal that was made for joy. Eat at Knoebels. And then, for the love of all that is holy, go ride the Phoenix.
