This is my second time here. My family comes here alot and they absolutely love it! My last meal (breakfast) was kinda of a let down.. i got the chicken fried steak. The eggs and hashbrowns were good. The the chicken fried steak was way overdone and really hard. The center had a few editable bites. I would with out a doubt go back again but would never order the chicken fried steak.... They do several different meals/snacks in flights where you get to try something (mac and cheese, hotdogs, sliders...ect ) multiple different ways. All the girls we've had over the past 4 times we've been there have been absolutely wonderful to myself and my fiance. We have alot going on right now and they made us feel like real people for a second. The food was absolutely fire everytime. Keilbasi cheesesteak is a MUST. It was a bit chilly the times we went so we couldn't sit outside but everything about the place was beautiful and homey In my opinion. I forgot what kind of dirty soda I got made. Stopped in with my daughter and her boyfriend, and my son. Lots of great menu options - in fact so many options it makes it difficult to pick from all the things that sound good. This is a hot spot for breakfast. Waffles, pancakes, French toast, skillets, home fries, egg dishes, there's truly something for everyone. Lots of toppings for the carb-loaded dishes. Many look more like dessert than breakfast. But they look soooooo good. Seriously, if you're watching carbs this place has a whole lot of decadent temptations, so you've been warned. My daughter and her boyfriend like the country mess. Eggs, home fries, sausage, onions, cheddar, and sausage gravy. You can order a half portion and it's still enough for a complete meal. For the difference in price (about 12 vs 13.5) I'd go ahead and get the whole portion and take the rest home. Fries are decent. Homemade soups. Even salads if you can resist the loaded up sweet breakfast items. The coffee flights are popular. My daughter and her boyfriend split one. They look more like four liquid desserts in small glasses. They are sweet and different and unique, and I could see going in just for the coffee flight when you want something like dessert but really want some caffeine. Soooooo many coffee and other drink options. Nothing here is cheap. I see why Bloom students wait for their parents to come into town to go there. LOL. Definitely a great place to sit and relax. I think the highlight of my order was actually my mint mocha Frappuccino. I was actually surprised to see how good this Frappuccino was. I thought that it was very minty. It was decently sweet and it was right amount for a dessert or even just to get takeout just for that one drink, I would definitely drink that in the morning and even for dessert I'd also probably come back to this restaurant just for their Frappuccino's because they had such a large selection of drinks that you could get with many different flavors in fact, they even had a Ube flavor that I was planning on trying. they are also have a pretty good selection of teas that I think you can make into a frappe as well which was kind of unique as far as the Panini goes that I got I thought that was a decent Panini. I thought that it was something that I could get again. The only thing was I felt like it was a bit watery just because of the vegetables inside of it that made a bit watery. I thoughttst the French toast was decent. I would definitely order the French toast again it was sweet. It had some jelly jam on it. That tasted pretty good. It wasn't a five star French toast, but I felt like it really hit the Maf h as far as getting something more of a diner vibe French toast and they also have a rotating menu where a were different items changed every week and they have different specials so it's nice to kind of try a new flavor of French toast or breakfast every time I think if I was to go back again, which I probably will I probably just go for the coffee or the Frappuccino or even I'd get a French toast and Frappuccino just because I like those little bit more than just Panini. read more

Hubby and I tried this restaurant for the first time on a busy Sunday morning. There are a lot of tables so seating moves quickly. He ordered a cheesesteak and I had French toast, sausage and breakfast potatoes. Everything was pretty good with the exception of the potatoes being more boiled than fried. I visited with family on a Friday luncheon and enjoyed the good service and fine food. We had a wonderful variety of choices from omelette, to smoked kielbasa and a chicken panini; all were fresh, tasty and well done! Woody's took over from the previous tenant and created a coffee space for Catawissa--extra points off the bat. Due to its limited hours and seating it's worth noting it maintains the Diner atmosphere so if you're dead set on the usual vibe for a coffee shop, this one's different. Offering coffee flights as a menu item is a neat way to generate customer interest. Breakfast ticks all the boxes. Changing consumer patterns undoubtedly contribute to the tighter window but expanded hours and additional focus on their coffee business would easily make this place one of the best stops in the county. Hopefully some day soon I'll be coming back for that five. read more

Recently visited on 10/11/25 to experience the atmosphere, service and what sounded like a tasty menu from the restaurant description. Instead, we had the complete opposite experience without having so much as water. The staff left us sitting with menus for nearly 30 mins. without anyone looking our way, asking if we wanted a drink, serving tables all around us that came in afterwards. We were completely ignored as though we were invisible considering we were sitting in the middle of the restaurant. There was plenty of staff walking around that could have at least assisted with getting us drinks if there was an issue with our server, which whom we never met. In all our years eating in all kinds of establishments, we never had such an unpleasant and disappointing experience. Stating Staff is 'attentive' or 'prompt' is an utter farse and couldn't be further from the truth. Words cannot express the lack of professionalism that was on display. Zero stars was not an option and that is even too generous for this review. We walked out and enjoyed an 'attentive' and 'prompt' staff at Morris Family restaurant where the waitress benefited with a very generous tip from our disgust with Woody's. read more

Recommended to us by a local officer at a public event outside of Bloomsburg, Woody's did not disappoint. We camped in Catawissa for about 48 hours give or take. During that time we ate in twice and got something to take home. With inside and outside dining it appeared they're popular with the locals. The place was busy but the wait for service and our meals was appropriate. The inside was decorated with an interesting array of antique relics and memorabilia from the surrounding areas. Our waitresses got our orders right, was friendly and efficient. The food was fresh, portion sizes above average, and had a nice variety to their menu. They have some funny names to some of their dishes including "the morning woody", a breakfast sandwhich, which really cracked my husband up. There's funny signage in the rest rooms as well. Parking is a bit funky, on the street and off to the side, ONLY when church is not in session. The coffee offerings were pretty hip and not expected in this small rural town. I was traveling through Catawissa on business. I called ahead to Woody's and placed an order for a Kelbassa Cheesesteak and fries. It also came with pickles. I won't say the food it's good, because it is. However we have had some meals that have taken over an hour to come out and it's cold. The service is hit or miss. The waitstaff is normally pretty good, the kitchen needs a lot of work! Breakfast meals especially should never take as long as they do. We have sat and waited numerous times. It seems as they only make one meal order at a time. They need a lot of improvement. Their wait for breakfast takeout is always insanely long, sometimes up to an hour and 45 minutes for ONE order. They should also work on not letting parties sit unless everyone in their party has arrived. We have waited in a line outside only to walk in and see one or two people taking large tables up waiting for the rest of their people to come and we have already been served our meals before they even all show up. Allowing a free for all seating there isn't ideal. 2 people taking up a large table isn't exactly a good look. Unfortunately, we have stopped going because this all gets out of hand. The wait to sit, the wait for your food, the temp of the food. You can do better! read more

Perfect spot for lunch on our way to Knoebel's. Fresh, delicious food and prompt, friendly service. Our party of 3 adults and 2 children took advantage of the dog-friendly outdoor seating. Our server brought out a high chair without being asked and was very attentive to the children. Breakfast portions were generous. My half size Buffalo Mess, served in a cast iron skillet, was almost more than I could eat. The classic egg breakfasts were perfectly done. There are lots of choices for pancakes and French toast, and they all the ones we saw at other tables looked fabulous, as did the frappes and other espresso drinks. read more

This place is a breakfast gem! Service is good but it definitely gets chaotic. The seating is a bit odd and the turnover is frequent. The waiting staff seems to handle it to the best of their abilities. The busy atmosphere should speak volumes of how great the food is though. Been here a couple times and shared this exact same meal with my girlfriend both times. It was consistently delicious. The cinnamon bun pancakes are filling yet airy with all the things you love about a cinnamon bun with none of the drawbacks (how few there are). The omelette is delicious with a decently complex flavor. The tomato, parm, and cheesy veggie inside all work together very well. It was seasoned to my liking, including the potatoes. Burning PTO time from work before I lose it end of the year, my husband and I were looking for an awesome mom and pop place for lunch while out running errands this past Friday, and we found it. Decor was super cute, with a homey hometown feeling. Wait staff were small in number, but mighty and super personable. Hubs had a vanilla bourbon caramel iced latte from their extensive coffee bar, and not being a java junkie, I had a diet soda. The menu is really decent sized with lots of interesting things we wanted to try. Oh... And breakfast is served all day. Or at least until 2pm, which is their closing time. Hubs had a bacon cheeseburger and fries, which he said was decent but I had a beef and cheddar and oh. My. Lawd. Tender beef, awesome cheddar, sauteed onions and mushrooms, and a sweet and tangy bourbon sauce, on toasted bread that could stand up to the other ingredients. It was so good! My husband had a few bites of mine and wished he'd ordered that instead. We will be back to try the many other creative things on their menu. read more

I've been out here for a wedding this week and was suggested this place before heading back to the Jersey Shore. I'm glad we stopped. It was a nice little place with original decor. Our waitress was very helpful and always made sure our coffee mugs never went empty. Our order was ready within 10-15 minutes and it was a great breakfast to start the day. I really wish this place would go back to what it once was. I used to love the food and service but it is crashing. Service time is the biggest issue. Sat down at 10:20am and was served at 12:30pm. Insane. Apologizes and assurances it was almost ready for an hour. We ordered an omelette and breakfast sandwich. Not that cosmic. The sandwich was all wrong. Had to ask for correction. The omelette was VERY over cooked and brown burnt butter on the outside. Forgot the bread with the omelette and had to ask for correction again. They now have a ton of seating outside and this might be adding to over stressing the kitchen. I don't know. I won't be back. It's a shame cuz I used to love it here. read more

Our family of four stopped here for breakfast/lunch while visiting our daughter in college. The choices on the menu were very enticing and we had trouble deciding. Everything was great! The blueberry pancakes were fluffy and sweet, stuffed French Toast was sweet and well balanced, the Buffalo Chicken panini was a little spicy with just the right amount of blue cheese crumbles and the generous portions of bacon and French Toast vanished off my son's plate. This is one really great breakfast and lunch place. Staff is great even when it's super busy and they must be exhausted. Always a smile and do their best!!! If your new to this restaurant you occasionally can get a new and anxious waitress. Give her a smile and a little patience. The staff are always supportive of each other and great to patrons.
