My husband loves a good round a putt-putt, so on a recent trip to the Glacier area, we knew this spot would be a must on our 'Father's Day Extravaganza day'. They have a few different options. You can purchase any of the activities A la Carte, or buy a pass that allows you to enjoy all of the activities. Our group of six opted for a mixed bag with some going for the pass and others taking the a la carte option. We did a group round of putt-putt which we all very much enjoyed. The course was fun and challenging. All of us also did the maze which was also fun--it's not about merely getting out, you also have stamps you have to collect on the way, which made it more of a trial. We were there on a pretty pleasant day in the mid-70s and the maze got pretty hot. I definitely wouldn't want to do it on a hot day--so, something to note if you're there mid-summer. Others in our group enjoyed bumper boats, go karts, and a unique basketball challenge. I would say the basketball challenge was the least enjoyed but everything else was a hit. If you're looking for a fun family day--this is your spot! Get to it!

Our 11year old boys had fun with it. Nice touch us having stamps in the 4 towers. Bumper boats was fun and getting wet is nice on a hot day. The boys loved driving the go-karts, and didn't mind they were smelly and noisy. The miniature golf had some fun and challenging holes, also a hit. A nice touch was the records board--shortest and longest time for maze, lowest and highest score for golf, etc.

Our eleven year old was able to do the higher up course, but our seven year old opted to skip that and do the bounce house which was fun for him. Both kids had a blast in the splash pond, and the food at the neighboring cafe was delicious and fresh! I would highly recommend a visit to this place if you're in the area and want to do something other than hiking or site seeing. A great value, really nice folks, and tons of family fun!

Conveniently right off the road to Glacier National Park, about 30 min from Whitefish. Surprisingly clean bathrooms, really enjoy the cranberry ice foam soap. Nice little deck with coupla heat lamps for folks who just want to hangout. They also have a full service snack shack serving fries, onion rings, fried mushrooms. Pro tip: the pork nachos slap. Got the aerial, climbing wall, lake slide, and inflatable package. Basically a kids dream (and mine!). Aerials came with full harness and helmet. Recommend bringing some gloves if it's cold out. Course allows traversal in any direction so if there's no line you can zip line back and forth to your hearts content. There are 4 short zip lines and 1 extra long one. This is way better than a zip line only adventure. Obstacles are all doable for a 9 and 11 yo. Would have enjoyed this with the whitewater rafting package too. Super fun place.

But I was on high alert and she eventually left. We were in Whitefish 5 days and went to this park 5 times.

Herron Park has a labyrinth of beautiful, intersecting forest trails of all skill levels to…read moreexplore. That means you can take a nice easy stroll, or take on a more challenging uphill climb, or a mix of both. It's not as awesome or epic as Glacier, but if the national park is closed or you want something different, this is a good option. The trails are well maintained and clear. In fact, several were temporarily closed for maintenance while we were there, and were actually actively being worked on. Most trails lead up the side of the small mountain the park is up against. That means after awhile you are going to get some pretty great views. And some great exercise as well! The area is basically a pine forest, and in the spring there are beautiful flowers all over the place. Some well known trails in Herron Park are the Notch Trail, the Family Trail, and Overlook Trail. Another note - I had cell service through most of the 4 mile loop hike we decided upon too, which is a bit unusual for the area. Four stars for being pretty great.

Very nice if you don't feel like giving dogs a bath after playing for an hour. She has a bench for sitting and a trash can for dog messes in the fenced area. She does have a bucket of water but we brought our own water container for dogs. There's no shade currently so you may have to plan your visit around the heat of the day. Beautiful view for the humans and lots of running room for the dogs. Super close to the west Glacier park entrance. Cost extremely reasonable for dogs to just have their own space/time to play. Highly recommend!

We rented clubs during this trip however we plan on bringing our own clubs next time we come or have the the opportunity to golf this course again. It's totally worth bringing your own clubs. We also had dinner at their restaurant and the food was delicious you definitely want to plan to eat at their restaurant after golf you won't be disappointed. For those of us who frequent Bigfork for its art galleries...festivals...rodeos...fishing and enjoying nearby Glacier National Park...golfing at Eagle Bend is NO LONGER offered to us mere mortals. What a shame that those in charge of this course have decided to make it a completely exclusionary club...for members only...where the buy in is only $18,000.00 up front membership fees (if you pass the vetting process of "you can be one of us" screenings) oh yes and the $375.00/month X12 ($4,500/yr) Local businesses...once they get word of this...and most have not currently...will lose out over time...as this course has drawn golfers here...for their short stay with family and friends is no more. One can only imagine how many tourists will NOT want to come here any longer...as this premier golf course is NO LONGER available to the public. I've been coming to Bigfork for over thirty years...and my most favorite and cherished piece to my visits has always been...making a tee-time at this gem of a course.
