Since I have a 9-5 job I booked an evening appointment with a technician. We needed to get into the telephone room so I called the building manager at 7:30pm to see if he could unlock it. If you're look for a place to rent, make sure you stay away from CLV Group Inc…read more I received a notice of rent increase of 2.5%. The situation is that my monthly rent amount prior to the increase was $1,191. On the effective month of the increas, CLV Group Inc. started deducting $1,1246.41 which is obviously more than 2.5%. On two occasions I requested an explanation re the calculation without any response. CLV Group Inc. closed their in-person office 485 Bank St. Perhaps because they don't want to deal with face to face complaints. Again, when looking for a rental, make sure you stay away from CLV Group Inc. (173 Cooper St.)

Hi Erin, for the garbage/ broken glass, if you can provide me with approximate areas as I regularly…read morewalk the property and was out today and our property has very minimal garbage that has blown in and our cleaner will fix when he is out, and I did not see any broken glass anywhere. I have recently walked with the landscaper, our garbage cleaner for garbage pick ups and bylaw and Bylaw has not issued any notices of violation for garbage on our property. So if you can be more specific with the areas you feel need attention I can have looked at, if not it will be actioned as our teams notice it. For the entrance are you talking about the food basics entrance? Those doors are automatic and open when someone arrives and leaves. We are not a mall, we are a condo corporation. Each unit is individually owned and each owner is responsible for their accessibility. If you can let me know your concern with the entrance to food basics, I can pass over to them and have their team look into. We have also had bylaw and accessibility compliance come to the building and check doors to ensure they meet the required accessibility code, which we have not been notified of any accessibility violations. And for customers going to businesses in the tower building we have an accessible door which also meets the requirements. Thanks, Update: the property and surrounding area is still disgusting and littered with broken glass. check it out! it's been that way since I moved to the neighborhood three years ago, you can ask any neighbours. #excuses #strategic incompetence #bullying #gaslighting #No Accountability #SorryNotSprry

I was in contact with Ash Arif, who, I'm assuming, is the owner or one of the main managers of the company. We tried to talk on the phone a few times, but because of our hectic schedules and different city locations at the time, we e-mailed much more. He was really great at answering all of my questions in a timely manner and keeping me updated on the availabilities and renovations of properties we were interested in. Since we needed my dad to co-sign, he was also very good at making sure everything was organized and in order before we moved in. He also let me know if he changed his contact information and gave me any and all details I needed. I really found their website to be a great resource as well. They post current residential and commercial rentals, with a short description, address, price, and pictures of each property. They've also recently redone their website to include a downloadable rental application, frequently asked questions section, and other information.

Day before they email me saying there is no slot available and i will have to pay the building penalty ?!?!? (Had written confirmation from Sentinel that they would do it) They are SO poorly organized! when I moved in, the dishwasher was broken, which, in retrospect, I think they knew about already bc when I emailed them, they didnt even send a technician, they just ordered a new one. Had to follow up 3 times for said dishwasher... AC doesnt properly work either, gave up on this issue bc after emailing them and getting nowhere ("we called technician" - said technician never showed up) dealing with them is such a nightmare - you unnecessarily go through 3 people and apparently the person I'm emailing cannot hand out the contact of the "chargé de projet" for his privacy but now said chargé de projet is emailing me directly ????? I am now moving out of the building, I had to email them to enquire about keys/move out -- nothing would have come from their side. When I emailed them they seemed to remember that they should be doing an inspection "we wanted to do one next week...." This email thread to do a SIMPLE inspection involves 3 people on their team - why? Person who's supposed to come for the inspection didn't show for the time slot HE gave me. there's absolutely NO organizational skill, nothing gets done. Incompetence!!!! If you are a landlord do not hire them.
