Here's the filler Tom rigged on the spot to fix my car
    Steven C.

I have a 2016 Z06 that was low on power. I had another shop working on it and they couldn't figure it out. The dealership couldn't figure it out either. Was ultra aggravating. I was pissed off for two weeks straight trying to get this figured out. After much research I made an appointment with Tom. He was pretty booked out and the soonest availability was a couple weeks out. I booked the appointment and waited like a kid waiting for Christmas. Anxious. In the meantime I was still trying to get my car sorted with the other shop and the dealership... we couldn't get it done. So I drove 3+ hours to get to Wongs performance. Tom hooked my car to his computers and dynos and it didn't take long for him to find the problem. In fact I think it took him longer to hook the car to the computer than to actually find the problem... My blower coolant was bone dry!!!! Therefore it was shoving hot air down my engine... Normally the dealership uses a special tool to vacuum fill the system. Tom didn't have that tool but he rigged a few pipes and funnels together and was able to get some fluid in there. +40hp immediately. And more power to follow once the dealership does a vacuum fill. I can't express how thankful I am that I went to Wongs Performance. Tom is the man!

Service completed, drove the car home with strong smell of gas permeating the car. Upon arriving home, gasoline and oil pouring out of the engine. Called the shop, they authorized a tow back for repairs. Discovered they had cracked the fuel line during gasket replacement and parts had to be ordered for warranty work. Work completed four days later and brought home. Drove the car for a week with the strong smell of gasoline and burning smell still apparent. While thirty miles from home, the engine began smoking and for safety concerns, found a auto shop as soon as possible who kindly took me in as an emergency case due to possibility of engine fire. Inspection revealed that the installation of the gaskets were improperly installed, resulting in oil being leaked/sprayed all throughout the engine the week it was being driven. Over two quarts of oil had been discharged. The shop performed emergency repairs, and thoroughly steam cleaned the engine to remove all the residual oil resulting in another repair bill. They were awesome and pretty much saved the car from bursting into flames. Returned back to ask for a refund of the original bill as it was faulty workmanship and had to be redone for safety reasons. Jayden (manager) said the warranty had been voided and no refund would be issued. He referred me to call corporate Meineke, who took the complaint and said that the shop itself dictated refund policies, not headquarters. They apologized for my terrible experience, but it was up to the original shop. Basically, Jayden sent me on a wild goose chase. Evidently the policy is more important than personal safety. Long story short, original work cost $475.00 for shoddy installation that created a severe safety issue. Rework and clean up cost $ 510.00 for excellent customer service under emergency situations. You do the math and decide for yourself. I'm returning to the shop who went above and beyond in rescuing me, and my vehicle from bursting into flames. Pretty sure this review will be deleted. It's pretty bad press.

Ok, my immediate family has been using James for over thirty years. Every single time we used him…read morewe have had great, convenient, quick service at a very good price. I just had James take a look at what I though was a huge problem on my truck. He took a look, fixed what turned out to be a really simple problem, and it didn't hardly cost me anything at all. He didn't give me a special rate. He just gave me good service (it only took him less than 30 minutes to complete). The price was much less than I would have paid at most other shops, and he came to my work and did it. I didn't have to leave work and leave my vehicle at a shop to get it fixed. So convenient. I've actually referred James to my friends and other family over the years, and have nothing but good reports back. So I thought I would give this guy a shout out with an online review so others know about a convenient, price effective option when they need work on their own cars.

I didn't need to drive my car anywhere, so I didn't bother getting it repaired. Fast forward from early January to the end of April, and I was now in desperate need of my car. We knew the alternator was shot and that the battery needed replacement. Local body shops quoted some pretty steep prices and weren't sure when they could get to it. Our neighbors referred us to James Mobile Auto Repair. He was able to come out to our house the following day, and confirmed it was the battery and alternator. He ordered the parts and was back the next day to complete the work. He is really kind, informative, fair priced, knowledgeable, and just did a great job. We are super thankful to have found him and will absolutely use his services again should the need arise.

BOOOO!!!! I called…read morethese guys when I blew out my 3rd Pirelli on my SAAB 9-5. Told them my situation and got the poorest customer service ever!!! Initially they just gave me a price for a set of tires...no other info. When I asked the brand and model of these tires they were pushing...the guy on the phone would only tell me they were a Raptis. Again I asked for the brand, speed rating, load index, performance rating and all he would tell me was the model name of a tire...not the brand name, not anything else about the tires. News Flash: I go through tires faster than than you go through underwear!!! I told the guy I would call him back. Looked up Raptis online, found out that this is NOT even the type of tire I told the guy I wanted, even found it cheaper at another franchise tire dealer. I give these guys a rating of negative 12!!!

Horrible customer service…read more We first got a set of tires from these guys, and things seemed ok for the most part. Albeit, they were a bit rude, but unfortunately you get that from lots of auto part places. But two weeks later, one of our brand new tires went flat and when we took it in, they said it wasn't covered in the warranty, but they "ordered" us a new tire. Said it would come in the next day. Well, my wife went in today, and they said they knew nothing about the tire, or whether it would be in today. They were extremely rude and gave her the runaround. She works in Portland and can't afford to keep driving on the spare (and she told them this yesterday when she first came in). When she decided to take our car elsewhere, but needed the original flat tire back, the guys behind the counter acted like they couldn't find it. Thankfully my father-in-law is a hard-ass. He could see the tire right there in plain sight, so he told them all where they could go and got the tire back--since none of the employees seemed to care enough about their customers to do anything. This has been unnecessarily stressful, and we'll never do business with them again. In fact, we're spreading the word to everyone we know. This company is not accredited by the BBB for good reason, and no one should ever give them their business.
