I own a rare and very special car, so when I needed custom exhaust work done, PUNK'S was the only shop I trusted with it. Kasey, Katrina, and Nick are absolutely amazing. Their customer service is outstanding, and their knowledge and skill are second to none. I truly consider what they do a craft. They are artists in the exhaust industry. They took excellent care of my car, and the results exceeded my expectations. The exhaust fits perfectly, sounds incredible, and reflects the quality workmanship they are known for. I can't say enough great things about this shop. If you're looking for the best muffler and exhaust specialists around, look no further. PUNK'S is simply the best! read more

I took my 2018 Audi Q7 to Punks after the dealer told me I had a cracked exhaust and that the only option was replacing the whole system for around $3k. I decided to try a muffler shop instead, so I asked around and Punks came up as the top recommendation every time. They absolutely lived up to the hype. Scheduling was quick, the quote was way lower than I expected, and the guy already had a pretty good idea of what the issue might be based on how common it is with this model. When I brought the car in and they got it on the rack, he found the problem was actually a little different--one of the exhaust pipes was completely broken in half. He even brought me out to look at it because it was such a weird break. The upside? It meant less work and a faster turnaround, and he adjusted the quote on the spot to match the easier fix. No games, no upsell, just straight honesty. The work was solid, and the service Anthony provided was better than anything I've had at a dealership, and the whole experience felt like dealing with people who actually know their craft. If you need exhaust work or custom exhaust, go to Punks. They've been around in Vancouver since 1953 for a reason. read more

Punk's Muffler - I haven't gotten an "after" photo just yet, but this was the mess they had to deal with. - Auto Repair Near Me - Vancouver, Washington

Amazing service! I took my Japanese imported van in to get a resonator installed. Without even asking they let me drive the van on and off the lift which I appreciated because RHD vehicles throws some people off. They did all of the work in about 30 minutes and I was blown away. I'll be taking all of my cars here for exhaust work going forward! read more

They made my son cry! He has been stressed over his Subaru not sounding right. Rife with worry... he dropped it off at 8 am. Walked across the street for a coffee and 30 minutes later... came back and it was done. He started it up and it sounded like it's old self. Purred like a baby wolf as he named her. The staff treated him like family and he called me with happiness in his voice I hadn't heard for months. So impressed especially they could have replaced it... but instead... my son was so happy... he paid them himself. Thank you! I'll send everyone I know in the area to them! read more

Updating my review below. They did a great job. Once the little troublemaker left, all was ok. This place was recommended to me by Jiffy Lube. The employee last week who looked at my car, Anthony, was professional, friendly, and cordial. I showed up today for my appt, no one was at the front desk. I'm disabled & in chronic pain and walk with a cane. A woman with 2 kids couldn't be bothered to offer one of the chairs to me. I called & left a voicemail on Punk's voicemail. This arrogant, entitled young woman apparently was listening to my call though I was deliberately speaking in a lot voice. Then she got in my face & tried to start a fight with me and accused me of rolling my eyes at her kids. Most normal humans would not start a fight over something like that, but here we are. Disabled seniors, vulnerable adults, in this country are treated like garbage. The fact that I'd been standing in pain didn't register with her at all. Then she went outside and started complaining about me to Kasey. I stepped outside & told Kasey what happened, and she slithered off. Customers like that scare away other customers. No one else from Punk's has communicated with me about it. read more

Kasey has the golden touch when it comes to making things fit on exhaust systems. I brought in my 89 Honda Civic for an aftermarket stainless steel exhaust system install. Naturally, it did not fit out of the box. Within a couple of hours he modified it and put in a catalytic converter - all for a reasonable price. read more

Punks was recommended by a trusted mechanic to custom build an exhaust for a machine we were restoring. The requirements were tough as the exhaust was required to fit under the profile of the fiberglass hood. Not only did they design a solution, they did so beautifully and stuck to the original quote despite the build taking more time than anticipated! Would give 10 stars if I could. read more

They take great care of customers and are an honest shop. I would recommend this shop to any of my family and friends.

I wish there were more stars... I'm a repeat customer because these are decent, honest people. My dealership gave me a $900 quote for my exhaust repairs - Punk's fixed me up for less than $170! They replaced my catalytic converter a few years ago when no one else seemed able or willing. Always courteous, friendly, family run business. And they didn't make fun of me for tying my exhaust to the chassis with hay bale twine. read more

Punks was highly recommended by a friend and my experience was the same as his. Locally owned business with decades of experience, will make recommendations but aren't upselling. They want to make sure you're happy with your muffler. I waited less than the estimated time in the lobby and one could tell this place has a lot of return customers. Friendly staff and quality work at a fair price. Thanks Punks crew. read more

We had a downpipe that needed welding on our Volkswagen and went to Punks because of the reviews we had read. To our surprise the service was completed immediately. Very friendly and professional, highly recommend this company. read more

I brought my project to review with Casey at Punk's in December and returned in January for completion. He had to modify an aftermarket cat-back to fit up to custom cats we were keeping on the car and get the whole dual muffler system tucked into a very limited area. Great work on the project. The actual job took no more than 3 hours and the price was more than fair. Very happy to recommend this shop! read more

This business is legit. Honest to God great business owner. The guy flat out came out and told me that if I was trying to get better sound for my vehicle to just do deletes versus replacing the whole muffler and it would save me money. Who does that these days? Honestly, what I would expect from a business in the olden days but now everybody's trying to get a dollar at this guys not like that he'll shoot you the street story and get you what you're looking for. This is the second time I've used them, and I have not been disappointed. read more

I haven't had my vehicle worked on yet, I find it very interesting that Punk's mufflers was the only company that told me that I couldn't replace my catilac converter with the a muffler. That's a very good sign to me that they're being honest and following the law. I definitely will be making an appointment and getting my cadillac converter replaced after some jerk face cut it off in my car in the middle of the night. read more

Very quick service! Took care of the details (pics for insurance) of dealing with a stolen Catalytic Converter. (They don't mess w/ insurance. That's your job!) ~ So, vehicle In for repair & Out to me in less than 24 hrs. It really helped me to get back to work in short order. Highly recommend this business! read more

Amazing place to get a muffler! Talked with Kasey on the phone prior to coming in to get a recommendation on a muffler for my truck. Told him exactly what I was looking for sound and performance wise and he gave me the recommended muffler and price. Scheduled my appointment and had the work done today. I am beyond impressed on the sound and performance of the muffler because it's exactly what I wanted. Very reasonably priced and the staff is super friendly. They carry reputable brands like Flowmaster and Magnaflow. My muffler was swapped out and a top was installed in about 30 mins. It even sounds better than a friend of mine who has the same truck motor but had a full exhaust done from a different place (boss thought his V8 was a V6). If you're looking for a muffler shop, you MUST come here! I've always been told to come here and I'm glad it was where I had my truck work done. read more

Extremely knowledgeable, and excellent craftsmanship (coming from a finish carpenter). I took him my '86 F-150 (I bought from a one owner, original exhaust). After taxing the guy with my questions about set ups, he took my keys and did his magic. My truck sounds great, runs better, and the stereo seems a little louder. I'm not 100% sure, but I think it corners a little better too. Cool guy, great experience. Thanks. read more

Called for advice and instead of trying to sell me something the gentleman on the phone gave me honest advice. It's rare to get this kind of customer service and it should be recognized when it happens. I can see why my friends recommended for me to contact Punk's Mufflers. read more

I had one of the trucks in my business develop this terrible exhaust noise so I called Punks, they are who I always call for muffler and exhaust issues, I've had great service from them before. Kasey said he could get me in that afternoon and quoted me a fair price over the phone. My guy took it in at the end of the day and Kasey called me up and said it was less than he thought and let me pay with a Visa over the phone saving me time and money. Way to come through again Punks!!! (Just so you know Punks has moved to Vancouver from Battle Ground) read more

I've visited Punk's several times over the last couple of years to service a couple different vehicles and they've always blown me away. They do a great job of explaining the issue and are straightforward and don't take advantage of a lack of knowledge like most chain automechanics do. They are also very generous and understanding and give great advice for vehicles it might be time to get rid of. I will never bring my car anywhere else! read more

This place is awesome!! I had been experiencing a bad smelling exhaust, and got worried this fix would set me back over $1,000, as quoted by a previous auto parts shop. The gentleman that answered the phone was very kind and very knowledgeable. He got me in within 10 mins of my phone call for a free diagnostic test. Once the test was done, instead of gouging me for a ton of $, he said absolutely nothing was wrong with my car, I just need to make sure I use good fuel. I was shocked I didn't get charged anything for the test, and he didn't try to sell me on some bogus part or service! I'll definitely keep his number for anything future and refer people to him in the future as well. read more

These guys are awesome! I took my Second Gen Nissan Xterra in to get a Flowmaster put on and it was done in less than 20 minutes. Their prices are extremely reasonable as well, and I highly recommend them! read more

Casey's technical knowledge knows no bounds. He is a master of his craft and a commensurate professional. He put on a Roush full cat system on my 2013 F150 and it looks and sounds great. If there was a way to leave 8 stars, this establishment certainly deserves them! Kasey is a true professional in every regard and his wife is a charmer who handles to business details to a tee. I have a 2011 Toyota RAV4 that I wanted to install a performance muffler on and after speaking to Kasey over the phone, I knew he was the person who could do the work with a minimum of complication. Made an appointment, got there a few minutes early as he was just finishing another customer's truck, and he had my rig on the lift and was removing the old monster muffler within ten minutes of my arrival. He put together a beautiful Borla Pro XS muffler and extension piece, (the new muffler is about 1/2 the size of the OEM), welded the hangers up and had the entire job done in about a half hour. Excellent workmanship and attention to detail and the new system sounds absolutely amazing! Thank you, Punk's, I will certainly recommend your services to anyone looking to get their vehicle exhaust needs addressed! read more

This place rules. I've taken my Mustang to a lot of different shops in town, and I almost always look at the work they did and think, "Gosh, I wish they'd done a little better." Not so with Punk's, I'm consistently impressed with their work. It's honestly the only shop I've tried in town that I don't have to worry about whether they're going to do a good job or not. They always go above and beyond what I ask them for, sometimes even fixing problems I didn't know I had. Would never go to another exhaust shop. read more

This place is awesome and the owner is too. Would recommend to anyone needing exhaust work.

Punks is a very friendly and helpful business, I took my Honda and my chevy P/U there. The work is great and very fast and at that price it's a business I will tell friends and family. I have one more car and when it's time I will surely take it there. Aloha to the staff read more
