Genuinely 1000% saying - this place is absolutely amazing. I've been looking to get microblading done for a while, but I found the places I've considered were (a.) way, wayyyy over-priced, (b.) often had clients who were not happy with their results, and (c.) I would honestly just chicken out. I ended up having my microblading session with Yolanda and it was honestly such a great experience. She thoroughly explained everything throughout the ENTIRE process, which I appreciated since I was a first-timer and was completely new to this. She also made sure I wasn't uncomfortable or in pain, which I really appreciated. Yolanda is also so easy to get along with and talk to, and is clearly very skilled at everything she does. Her knowledge of all of her services gave me such peace of mind. I actually ended up also doing the lash lift + tint with David, who was SO lovely, and also so meticulous about perfecting his skill (as was Yolanda). I was so happy with my results I even booked for two additional services this weekend. My mom was so impressed with the microblading that she actually requested I book her an appointment with Yolanda as well (which I did!). Highly, highly recommend! read more

Unfortunately I can no longer come here. This is the SECOND appt I had scheduled with Krystal where she has been late. My appointment was for 1pm apparently they called me at 10am, left no message, to tell me she was running half and hour late...So I found this out upon arriving for my appointment that THREE HOURS ago she was running 30 mins late for? Girrlll pls...your schedule said you were open. show up on time for your appointments. I will no longer support this business or technician. They were also running a one day voting special to drum up business...perhaps your workers should be available per their working hours to support. TLDR: Alyssa was VERY nice, but would not recommend getting eyebrows tinted with her. Got my eyebrows tinted back in Nov. and I'd never gotten it done before. Alyssa was very nice but honestly, the work done was not good... when I saw how she put it on it looked like giant rectangles on my face, but the color didn't stick, so I assumed it was just how it was supposed to be put on. Because there was no change, she was nice enough to offer a different tint so we tried that, and it did stick... but oh my god... she put way too much on that I looked like the baby with the rectangles as eyebrows... So then she tried to rub it off and was extremely rough with my eyebrows that the pores were getting red from irritation and the skin around it was inflamed - so I tried to clean it up myself because it hurt so much. All in all, I do not recommend an eyebrow tint. Maybe this was just not her forte and is better at other things, but this was my experience for the work that I'd gotten done. This review is in regards to my facial experience, as I have been here before and had a great experience with my brows and teeth whitening. First time getting a facial here and unfortunately it was not great. Started a few minutes after the appointment time with a relaxing face wash. A product was used on my nose to extract blackheads. The steamer was not working and usually with a facial, steaming of the face is a must. During this time I was confused because I had booked for a DM Glow facial (photo attached of description), and having this facial twice before at evolve med spa (which I told her), I knew extractions aren't typical (which I also stated). When I asked what serum would be used during my DM glow facial I was shown the product (not typical) and was a bit confused but said OK. I was told she always does extractions but usually the steam machine works. Music was then put on as it was quite quiet. I than had a face mask put on with an LED light over it. At that time I asked for a blanket as it was quite cold inside which she nicely got for me from another room. During the appointment someone opened the door and looked in and when I looked up the door quickly closed which I found peculiar, given no explanation. There was not even a knock at the door, just opened and nothing was said during the session. After the facemask the facial then concluded with a light massage which was relaxing (I removed my Jewelry at this time because again, I thought it was DM glow facial where massages don't typically occur). 50minutes later and over. This was not the facial I booked. When she said the facial was over I asked that was it? That was a regular facial not a DM glow. I was then told it was a DM glow facial, all DM products used. I stated this felt like a regular facial, that I have a membership to hand and Stone where I go for my regular facials and I normally go for medical grade facials at evolve and was trying here for my first time (as I also stated earlier). I booked a DM glow facial but it stated a very different description from what I received. I was then asked if I meant I wanted the "bb facial" that had permanent make up which I said no and asked if this facial was $195 as a DM glow is listed for that and was told she would confirm upfront. At this time I was ready to go and when I went up to the front they said it was a "miscommunication". They told me I could call and rebook my appointment. This service I received was $125 (I asked so I could tip) and I would say the price for the facial I received does not reflect. This facial you could do at home.. wash face, extract black heads off nose only, face mask, lotion, done. No questions were asked about the service I was getting. No questions were asked about my skin type. No refreshments offered. No explanation of products used and benefits during. No recommendations. Was an eye cream put on? Do I have spf on my face? Not a spa experience. They graciously and rightfully comped my facial (which was greatly appreciated and noted). I apologized, although I'm not sure why I apologized looking back. I do feel as though I wasted my time, energy, and money, as this was in no way what I booked or wanted. I'm giving 3stars as a median between my 5 star experience as I don't want it to reflect just this appointment. read more

I have had an amazing experience with Wonderlash. Everyone I have interacted with at the studio has been knowledgeable and incredibly friendly. I had permanent eyeliner and microblading done and am super happy with the results. Yolanda did my microblading and was amazing. She answered all my questions and gave a great consultation. This review is for eyebrow services only. In short, do not take a chance and come here for eyebrows because you WILL REGRET IT, worse eyebrow shaping ever. I told them to keep my eye brow natural shape, but 1) She shaped my naturally rounded eyebrows into straight lines.(WHY?? I DIDN'T ASK FOR THIS). 2) she removed 30% of my natural eye brow length (WHY?) and mostly from the corner of my eyes (WHY?). Now my two eyebrows are ridiculously short and so far apart, imagine the characters in the movie Avatar. My friends say this is much worse than when I do my own eyebrows. I can only wait for my brows to grow back. Meanwhile I don't have the courage to leave the house because I look ridiculous. read more

This is my second visit in the studio. I usually get my brows and upper lip waxed, and the service is always excellent! The quality of product is one of the best I've experienced and the estheticians are experienced and very attentive. I got my lashes done a few days ago. I told the woman I wanted a very natural looking set since it was my first time getting extensions and because I don't wear makeup often. I even showed her pictures of the look I was going for. What I ended up with are extremely thick, clumpy lashes. Not even close to what I asked for. What most upset me, though, was the fact that she said she decided to add more lashes because "there was extra time." You would think regardless of time she would start with what I originally asked for, then give me the opportunity to ask for more, if interested. That is like me asking for an inch off my hair and the stylist taking off 5 inches because there was extra time. It just doesn't make any sense! Overall, really disappointed with my experience and would not recommend this place. read more

Two weeks ago I had the absolute worst eyelash experience of my life. The technician who is doing my eyelashes glued my top lashes to the bottom lashes ask me inappropriate questions and took a private phone calls while my eyelashes were glued together and I couldn't open my eyes. I called wonder lash and told him about the experience they apologized and did refund me. So I kept the appointment that I had for August 4, today. They confirmed with me earlier in the day with whether or not I wanted my appointment I said yes. I showed up to my appointment open the door and no one was there. I messaged the number that had confirmed with me earlier and what I got was laughed at. I then got a bunch of excuses as to why it's my fault or I didn't understand and that they actually told me a different appointment location. Of course that's not true, but I didn't even get an apology. If you want good customer service or eyelashes that look good, don't go here. Much like others, I have been patiently waiting for places to open back up to book beauty appointments. Now, I usually get my eyebrows done in the city but decided it might be safer to look for something around my area. After much research, I decided to try Wonderlash. The booking process was easy and I was looking forward to a little pampering. The studio is small but I enjoyed the cute esthetic nonetheless. My technician seemed a bit shy in the beginning but proceeded with my lash lift followed by an eyebrow wax and tint. Her cell phone seemed distracting considering she left it right by my ear and it would vibrate numerous times. The whole process took almost 2 hours. I got up and was taken back by how dark my eyebrows were but she reassured me it would fade. I went home and woke up to a big chunk of hair missing. As the day progressed, the patch of missing hair got red. I immediately called the studio and they were more than accommodating and refunded me for the service. I went back the next day and they were able to fix my eyebrow with henna and a brow lamination. Now although the damage was done, I cannot express how great the management and team were able to help resolve the issue as much as possible. This is an experience worth sharing as I do believe in helping businesses improve with constructive criticism. I definitely would suggest to continue to train technicians with the upmost professionalism including customer service, education on procedures and after care. read more

I am a bit overwhelmed. I was scheduled for 12:30pm and wasn't seen until around 2pm so I waited in the waiting area.... Previous reviews regarding this business are pretty good- I recently moved nearby and this was a place I searched on Google. Yesterday I went to visit the salon. The studio overall is a nice clean space. However... I am extremely disappointed with the way my lashes came out. $30 for removal and $240 for a new set plus tip. I am unsure if all stylists are trained the same way but to sit in a chair for 2hrs and see bad results was just yo setting. Although I will not be returning, I respect business and what they have established. read more

I got eyelash extensions done a few days before my vacation. I did everything that they said, to wait 24 hours before getting them wet, and to brush them. Literally on the 3rd day 50% of my eyelashes were already gone. I decided to give them a another chance and called asking if I could get a fill because most of the eyelashes were already gone. My lashes didn't even last my entire vacation mind you it was only 7 days when I came to get it fixed there were no extensions left on any of my eyes. Got it done again, this time I waited 2 days before I washed it with water, and the eyelashes still were coming off. Every morning i saw tons of eyelashes on my bed. I've gotten eyelash extensions done before and this has never happened to me, so disappointing. Save your money and just go somewhere else, they charge $110 just for a classic set just for it to not even last 2 days. read more

Save your money and find somewhere else to have your eyebrows shaped/waxed. Nightmare situation 2 times in a row. 1st time - I booked an appointment with Yolanda but when I got there - I was told my appointment was with someone else (won't mention any names). This aesthetician accidentally got hot wax in my hair!! She had to aggressively brush the wax out of my hair - a lot of my hair came out as a result. On top of that, the eyebrow service itself was rushed and I was not happy with the results. 2nd time - I decided to try my luck with a different aesthetician - figuring I may have just had a less experienced aesthetician. WHAT A MISTAKE!! The wax was SO HOT it felt like it was burning my eyelids. I told the aesthetician it was too hot - who literally said/did nothing about it. She also was not good at peeling off the hot wax and had to attempt multiple times to get it off. It was really painful. My eyelids were bright red when I left. The aesthetician did not acknowledge it. To make matters worse - the results were not good. The shape is not natural and they are so thin. I am upset that I have to wear these eyebrows around for the next few months until they grow back. I will not be returning to Wonderlash. read more

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! Awful experience with this place. I arrived for my first appointment to find no-one was in the office. Confused, I called the number only to be told that my appointment was canceled and the person forgot to notify me. After being offered a 30% discount for the inconvenience I decided to give the place the benefit of the doubt and give it another try. When I arrived at the office for my rescheduled appointment the following week at 2pm, I was asked if I could reschedule for 2.30pm that day or another day. The person before me had arrived later apparently and I later realized it was a friend of the technician who I am sure was probably squeezed in before my appointment. I cannot understand why again, no-one had called me to ask this before I arrived at the office. But since I had come all that way, I agreed to wait and had to rearrange my childcare to accommodate them. After waiting for 30 minutes, the technician led me into the room which was not very inviting and had paint peeling from the walls. The technician then spent about 10 minutes trying to fix the machine for my hydrafacial before telling me it wasn't working and that she could give me a microdermabrasion instead. Reluctantly, I agreed since I was already there and might as well get something for my time! The technician used the dermabrasion machine for a couple minutes and didn't even target all the areas of my face. When it was time to checkout, I was offered 20% discount for the inconvenience. I explained that I already had a 30% discount for the last inconvenience and asked if the 20% would be on top of that. After calling her manager, the women said that they could do 30% off the microdermabrasion session only. So the original discount was just taken off me! At that point, I just paid to get out of there as fast as possible and will never be returning. read more

Found this place through Groupon and I was hesitant at first because it is in Jersey City and what I could remember the parking is horrible. Got to the location and as expected, street parking is horrible unless parking on a meter or a garage. Anyways, the business is in the first floor of a brownstone. I have no idea why I was nervous, it's not my first time getting lashes but guess because I never been there & the business is small. I say small because outside of city areas, business are bigger so the size is normal for city areas I assume and have to adjust to. The decor is nice & simple. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I asked too many questions and I thank Jessica for her patience with me. They offer a complimentary cup of Rosé, water and/or tea. There are about 4 beds that are separated for privacy. There are bins at the side for personal items. Music is played for entertainment but I suggest if you are looking for a nap during your services, use earphones unless you will hear everything. I definitely recommend this place and will be visiting again but taking the train lol read more

This is by far the best eyelash extension place I've been to. They care about fitting you with the right style of lashes, recommending and explaining all the differences really well. They also do a great job on the application, making sure you don't have the stickies ( glue sticking between lashes) which causes those turnaround lashes after a few days. They encourage you to remove old lashes and do an entire reset so they last longer (and they really last LONG!). And best of all they done charge per lash, they just work till they can get as much on as possible... I love it! read more

Got my eyebrows tinted and shaped by Jessica, it was a great experience overall. The place is very cute, smaller than what I expected, but the service was great. Jessica was able to fix my eyebrows as one of them is rounder than the other. She was super gentle and it was overall a relaxing experience. I got the eyebrow tinting that goes on the skin, and while it's supposed to last longer than henna, I found that after one week and following post-care instructions, much of the tinting has faded and I've already gone back to filling my brows. However, I would definitely still come back to this place as I really enjoyed the service and loved how my eyebrows came out. read more

Wonderful studio and Jessica did a fantastic job on my hybrid (classic+volume) fill! I was only in JC for a few days for work, and needed a fill that my home studio wasn't able to reschedule on short notice. Booked an appointment the morning of online--so easy. This place saved my bacon! The fill was longer and a bit more $ than my usual, but Jessica spent at least 20 minutes testing and removing old/loose lashes, which I really appreciate and know will help this fill last longer. The place is small but nicely appointed and very clean. The table was comfortable and they had a great playlist going. It was fun listening to the owner in the bay next door chat with her microblading client - very friendly and professional. I wouldn't hesitate to come here again! read more
