The instructors are supportive and welcoming and I really enjoy the group class environment. Plus the 50% off the first class didn't hurt. The classes range from beginner to advanced. If you are new to Pilates take the Reformer Essentials to get your footing and learn the basics. For the more intermediate to advanced I highly recommend Reformer Mix with instructor Chelsea. With Chelsea I experience a full body workout with different routines every week using all of the equipment . I have truly stepped up my pilates game with Chelsea. The Reformer Sculpt class is also a excellent option for an advanced class that does exactly what the class title says. Instructor/owner Eden is my fave for Sculpt. The studio offers yoga classes and these have been a game changer. Instructor Brooke is an amazing yoga + pilates instructor who is down to earth and very encouraging. Instructor Consuelo is peaceful and intentional with Gentle Yoga Slow Flow for a more easy and meditative flow. If you're in or near Long Beach check out the studio. They offer classes from 6am - 7pm. 5 stars

I've never done Pilates prior to coming to Vero's and I l'm very glad I chose Vero as my first. The space is very cute and clean. I also love that it's only 4 people at most in a class. I had my consultation/1 on 1 with Sabine and she was kind enough to tell me the history of Pilates, naming and showing me positions, and everything I needed to know going forward. She did a great job showing me the ropes and setting me up for future classes. From there, Crystal very patiently worked with my schedule to find classes that I would fit in with as a beginner. Beyond that, she helped ease my nerves about being a newcomer and helped me feel really welcomed. Most of my classes have been with Aubre who has been nothing short of amazing. She tailors each class after what we need and she never misses! Aubre makes me feel welcomed and I've learned a lot about my body from attending her sessions. She's very good at ensuring we have the correct posture, preventing injuries in the long run. I appreciate her knowledge and how she shows it in her instruction. Eveline and Janet are also great. Eveline's classes are very informative and she does a great job creating a comfortable environment for everyone. Janet is very sweet and took the time to make sure I was doing okay during class. Her care was genuine and I'll never forget her kindness! Most of the people I've talked to only intended to try Pilates for a month or two but Vero's wonderful staff, space, and overall environment makes everyone stay much longer. I will also be one of those people who stay because of it! 10/10 recommend this place!

I did the $25 2 weeks unlimited offer they had and immediately fell in love with the studio itself & Pilates! I have taken a reformer foundation, reformer + and even a reform Sculpt. And all are absolutely great! They do offer mat Pilates only once a week though. Hina is definitely my favorite instructor here! She usually teaches Wednesday & Thursdays. I have taken her for reformer + & sculpt and I love her workouts! She is very nice, a GREAT instructor, and gets straight to the point. I am always swearing and feeling amazing after a class with Hina! It does suck that she's only there twice a week and I wanted to be consistent with Pilates. Sarah and Ashlee are also great instructors! SUPER helpful and really helps you understand the movements just like Hina. I wish all 3 were there more often so I can purchase a membership! Studio is clean & aesthetically pleasing. Check them out!

After the trial, I honestly wasn't planning on joining, but after taking Jason S's class I changed my mind His strength yoga class is my favorite. Plan to arrive early in case you have to park across the street. My main issues are with the strict membership policy and the crowdedness inside the studio. Most instructors are talented not only in their practice but in teaching their students. I learn and follow best by seeing a demonstration not just listening to a lecture. I had an instructor that just used the mic to give directions without showing us. One class resembled a karaoke session which was fun the first couple songs but it was dark and I couldn't see beyond the bodies next to me (they're closer than you think btw). I wasn't sure if I was using the correct form, where the instructor was, or what we were supposed to be doing. Fine for the advanced yogis but leaving us beginners lost. Overall I enjoy attending most classes here. A big issue is it's so crowded. During class you're almost on top of each other so much so that they have to stagger who bends where. The walkways get so congested and I didn't even take a chance with the locker rooms bc the people in there looked like sardines. I see so many studios other than Ra popping up left and right that it would probably benefit them to open up more locations.

I'm a big fan of Club Studio and have been going for years now. Here's why I love it:…read more* The Gym is well lit, has all the equipment you'd need, and is never too crowded (or empty) to help us stay motivated to work out. * The Studios have great marked spots for each person, with instructors who bring the energy and fun to their classes. Plus, I appreciate that every class starts on time. I personally can't get enough of the Hot Yoga with Sandi! * The amenities are plentiful with towels, hairdryers, lockers and plenty of spaces throughout with everything we need. * The service is great. The Club Manager, Ricky, excels at taking care of the members. * And, there's plenty of free parking so you're never stressed looking for a place for your car or bike. This is a fantastic facility. Check it out!

I decided to join Club Studio for these following reasons: aesthetically pleasing to the eye,…read morebigger space, better equipment, and less wait time on equipment. (I would give them a 5 for this.) I also thought the cost would be a huge motivator to get my butt into the gym more often! The reason for a 2 score: I'm an experienced yogi, 10 plus years. My yoga practice was developed in small owned yoga studios where care for asanas were taken seriously and instructors adjusted your movement, hands on, to make sure you were doing everything safely and accurately. I can't seem to adapt to the fast paced, hands off dark dance club vibe of corporate yoga studios that, unfortunately, are popping up in every mini mall corner nowadays. Club Studio yoga classes are just that. Firstly, classes blast music with lyrics so loudly that you can't even hear the instructor. For the love of God, why, just whyyyyyyyyy would you blast a depressing song about heart break while you're trying to get your students to follow your instructions and focus on their mindful asanas? lol! I literally can't hear because it's literally like two people talking at once. You know there are so many amazing energizing tribal techno instrumental beats to choose from that would elevate the yoga classes and enhance members' experience. Also, it's hard to see the instructor well because of the annoying night club blue hue that is equally distracting. It's mind boggling that the instructors, let alone the company that owns Club Studio, are not mindful of this. I would think that this is probably very frustrating, intimidating, and discouraging for new students who are trying yoga for the first time ever. I leave their yoga classes more irritable than at peace because of all this ridiculousness. Also, the support blocks that they have are falling apart and soft like kitchen sponges, giving no secure stability. When I used it for the first time as a prop during warrior 3, it caved in and I almost fell over! There are also little wear and tear holes/marks on most of the blocks. I recommend that they upgrade them to quality, hard cork materials for a safer, more stable support. In addition, I'd rather not bring my own yoga mat, but I have to because the spongy yoga mats they offer are so oily and slippery so you need utilize a long towel to make it function correctly, ever time. You speak about wellness and the importance of fitness but your yoga classes are dangerously unsafe. The reason I'm so upset is because I stopped putting money in yoga classes outside this gym so I could then focus on the yoga classes offered with my over $200.00 monthly membership. I'm really disappointed in what they offer in their yoga classes. Not the quality I would expect for this type of pricing. PLEASE offer more yoga classes with a variety of teachers and styles for those who don't want loud pop music or darkness. I am now going to spend additional money to go back to my old yoga studios that don't use dance club lighting or blast loud lyrics that take over the instructor's guidance. Do better, Club Studio. Your members are paying for quality. Fast, loud, and a night club feel is not that unless your a 20 something raver.
