I wasnt impressed by the flavor of my house special fried rice. I decided to give this place a try because it was very close to me. My usual spot was closed on this day (Sunday). I figured it was fried rice, how bad could it be. This was a last resort option. I see a lot of deliveries from this place. So obv people like this place but it wasn't for me. The rice had chicken, shrimp, and I subbed beef for the pork. I made it spicy. The beef made it tolerable. I have eaten here for years. This is in my opinion one of the best Chinese places in the area. I have spent thousands of dollars on food here and i have had almost every menu item except seafood and i have liked everything i have tried. They are always speedy too. Found a good Chinease spot on the. Northwest side of Indianapolis . My little sister had been raving about it so we had to try it this weekend. Staff was extremely nice and pleasant , we called our order in and it was ready as soon as we arrived . We got the general Tso chicken. Chicken lo mein and chicken egg Foon. Young , General Tso chicken was some of the best I have had good mix of sweet with a little bit of heat had a nice portion also , chicken lo mein was filled was flavorful not to salty , only thinking I didn't care for was the gravy included in the egg Foon young . I believe this is the first time I have ordered take out from Wonder Wu. however I practically grew up on their leftovers because my mom gets it all of the time. Wonderful staff. Everything is always ready within 15 minutes. I ordered delivery from here while at work. Service was decently quick and the delivery fee was fair. The sweet and sour chicken was your standard Chinese delivery taste. My egg roll also was pretty good. My only concern is my stomach ended up upset later that day and I got sick. My coworker ordered from them the day prior and also fell ill. I'm giving this place 5/5 stars because for what it is , a fast food Chinese restaurant , it's pretty good. The food is always hot and cooked in a record time. I have never eaten in house, I've always just carried out. That being said they do have some seating but just a few tables ! Their food has always been good, and the serving sizes are huge. We were craving Chinese so, we decided to give them a try. We ordered the general Tso chicken with chicken fried rice, chicken and broccoli with no rice extra broccoli and two veggie egg rolls. went to go pick it up easy breezy. They are practicing social distancing. You do order at the front door only one person or couple at a time. We got home (10 min away) and the food was still pipping hot. At first glance, this place looks very typical. In a strip center with a check cashing spot and liquor store. I was very hesitant to try it but a friend recommended and I have been on a hunt for GOOD Asian food in the Pike area. When you walk in, looks very clean- Floors and tables. Kitchen was open and I could see that there was no food on the floor. I ordered a Chicken Lo Mein lunch special with a drink and it rain, about $6.50. I got my food in less than 10 minutes. The lady behind the counter was very pleasant as she answered my questions about delivery. Got the food back to my office and it was still hot. It was very flavorful and not greasy. Though a very basic meal, i was pleasantly surprised. Overall I would recommend trying it out. I will head back eventually to try other menu items, but definitely worth a second trip! read more

Our usual Chinese place closed earlier this year, we tried a couple of other places that were just so-so. One day I searched for nearby restaurants and just thought I'd take a chance on this place. I wasn't disappointed, my entire order was amazing. After tearing into my food, I realized the egg rolls and crab Rangoon are handmade. The wonton wrapper on the egg roll wasn't quite cooked all the way but I didn't care. The filling was so good! I've gotten take-out about five times from here, and they never disappoint. I get the Sesame chicken, non-spicy, no onions in the rice. The food is prepared quickly and reasonably priced. They also customize the order to my liking with no problem. (I like more rice than chicken) The people are nice and the inside seems decently clean. My only complaint is even though my chicken is non-spicy, it still has that 'spicy' taste, like the sauce is still spicy and they just watered it down to make it less noticeable. read more

None of these items have ever disappointed me at this restaurant. The shrimp fried rice has whole shrimp. The Crab Rangoon's filling is creamy, tasty and comes with a side of sweet & sour sauce. After my husband and I moved to the area, we knew we had to peg down a local Chinese restaurant for those late nights when it's all you crave. Had to deliver, obviously. So, we somehow managed across Wonder Wu. We ordered our typical order - 2 sesame chicken combos and an order of steamed dumplings. Delivery time was fast! We live close by, but I was still surprised. Usually, they say 40 minutes on the phone, but it never takes that long. The food is good! Always very hot. The sauce is sometimes too thick, but not inedible. I have to say, I am a HUGE fan of the egg rolls. They're big and chock full of vegetables (mostly cabbage, but whatever). And they're veggie (no meat), which I can appreciate. Deliveries always come with more than enough sauce and fortune cookies, like normal. Prices are decent. Here's a perk!! The food is delivered in very sturdy plastic containers... almost the quality of cheaper tupperware. We always wash them out (dishwasher safe) and keep them around for whatever. They work great! Eh... call it somewhere between 3.5 and 4.0 stars. VERY clean dining area and unisex restroom, especially considering that they've been in business for years. My dine-in meal was served on a hard plastic reusable plate. Self-serve cheapy plastic utensils and self-serve napkins. Beverages are in bottles and cans from a cooler (ie, no soda fountain.) The veggies in my Moo Goo Gai pan were nice and crisp. Mushrooms somehow seemed in between canned and fresh. Maybe frozen? If they were canned, they were not twice-cooked as happens at other places, but merely added after other veggies were to the point of being cooked. Pork fried rice was excellent. Egg roll was decent to good. Counter staff is fluent in English, and very friendly. At the beginning of the dinner rush, there was a steady stream of phone orders for pick up and for delivery. The menu here is the "standard" Americanized Chinese with the green/red printed menu, lunch specials, dinner combos, house specialties, and a zillion things that come in those pint or quart cardboard boxes. I stopped going to the Jumbo Chinese buffet in the same shopping center (it's next to Marsh) years ago, when their buffet turned to slop.
