Given the review that was first on here we were naturally a bit reserved in doing business with them but the staff made us comfortable and was very generous with time and explanation. The price was good and the time spent at their desk was minimal. The facility was well stocked and brand new. We decided to give it a shot and are happy with what we bought and how they treated us. Naturally you must always also consider what happens if things go awry, as Vicky's story and photos illustrate. I think the owner put effort in to fix but lots of in-hindsight bad decisions seem to be made by both sides. So, long story short, we went here, got a good deal and the exact trailer we wanted, good advice and speedy service. Hope this adds some balance to the rating. For trailers you can tow home: 0 worries that this is a great place to buy from. When putting shippers in the middle? Not sure if any place would come out clean.

They are supposed to honor ATC warranty work because they sell them there. At first they were helpful in servicing the trailer under warranty, but then decided not to service my trailer that was still under warranty. They told me it was because I didn't buy it from them, even though they are one of the biggest dealers of ATC in the Midwest. They also said they weren't going to sell them anymore because of quality issues, even though I see them for sale in front of the dealership every time I drive by. When I purchased it, they were all sold out because of Covid. I bought it in Indiana knowing they sold and serviced them In Kalamazoo. It's like having a Chevy dealership unwilling to fix a Chevy under warranty. I ended up having to sell it because they were the ones I was depending on to work on it. I lost 10k in the transaction. Luckily the person buying it from me was out of state and would never ever need Premier Custom Trailers for warranty work. What a nightmare they created for me as a customer! Do not deal with this company if you value your sanity and your dignity. My biggest financial regret in recent memory. On top of it, there is an attitude that quickly shifts against you if they no longer care about helping you. Avoid!

It could have caused a significant accident. When we called to report the damage, the staff was totally unsympathetic and said it was my fault. Let me just say that customer service at the level that they provide is very rare today. There was a bit of miscommunication on one of the features on the trailer I was looking at and when I came to pick it up was disappointed to see the trailer didn't have what I was expecting. Steve was extremely apologetic, had the feature added to the trailer and delivered it to my house 2 hours away the following week. He could have very easily told me "oh well" but did the complete opposite. He was exactly what I look for in a dealership. I will definitely recommend him to any friends looking for a trailer and will make sure that if I find myself in the market for another trailer will make sure to head to Trailers Midwest!!

These guys are clowns…read more I ordered what should have been a very nice car hauler in March, 2021. Agreeing on price and delivery date (August), R&R Trailer took my deposit. August came and went. In November, R&R called and said the trailer was being produced, but wanted $2,100 more than the price agreed upon when ordered. Had they built the trailer when they committed to in March, they wouldn't be looking for more money. I refused to accept their problem as my problem. They said they'd return my deposit in two weeks. That was six weeks ago. These guys behave like an entity going out of business. I've engaged the fraud department at my credit card company to try to recover my deposit. Don't deal with clowns.
