After a bit of trouble shooting, several discussions with a fellow Luxe owner and a load of phone calls with Certified RV, I decided it was going to be cheaper and easier to replace the entire hot water heater. Tammy at Certified RV helped me get what I needed. Certified RV's tech Scott provided some valuable insight for the install as well. It is amazing how nice a hot shower in our own rig feels! They take justified pride in what they do, and it most definitely shows. Above, was the more succinct "30,000 foot" view of our experience. Below, is a more detailed view of our experience for those who may be interested. We were looking for a flat tow hitch to pull our Jeep behind our class A motorhome. Stacy kindly greeted me and introduced me to Ryan. Ryan walked through some scenarios and asked questions to determine what was most important to me. I was looking for strength, durability, and simplicity. He walked me though options to accomplish that. He had Tai show me a couple hitch designs and how they operate. We got the heavy-duty Blue Ox hitch and the integral Demco braking system permanently mounted in the Jeep. No separate braking unit/machine to put on the floor behind the brake pedal to attach and adjust, as well as take back out, and stow every time. With the Demco system, we just flip a switch on a box under the dash to activate or disconnect the tow braking system. That's it...done. It is more money, but considering the reliability, simplicity, and particularly the speed of set-up/tear down it brings to the table, it is well worth the extra cost to us. Not that it was that much more in the scheme of things. We scheduled the installation. Everything was like clockwork to the proposed schedule. We took the Jeep in 1st. After a couple days we took the motorhome in. The next day everything was done, ready for training, and pickup. Tai did an outstanding job training us the proper steps for coupling and uncoupling the hitch, as well as, putting the Jeep in the correct state to safely tow it. That was more involved than I anticipated. Incorrectly doing a step can damage the vehicle. But don't worry. They give you a comprehensive check sheet for the coupling, uncoupling, and vehicle set up procedure. If you just follow that step by step, you will have no problem. We are laminating it and will keep in the motorhome with the hitch components. I also scanned it as a pdf file in my phone. I like having the checklist as this is nothing you want to be complacent with. Missing a detail can damage your vehicle(s), create a dangerous situation and potentially be fatal for people that happen to be near a failure on the highway. Aren't you glad pilots always use preflight checklists no matter how experienced they are? ;) Tai also took us through some "what if or might happen" scenarios that did not happen during our training. He told us how to address them IF they arise. Coincidently, one happened when we went to uncouple when we got home. We knew what to do to easily overcome the minor intermittent obstacle. By covering that, it saved us from making SOS phone call to them. They know what they are doing. Then once assured the training was done and understood, Tai rode along with us on a test ride to be sure we were comfortable with the operation and handling. Quite frankly, if it were not for the rear-view camera, I wouldn't even know the Jeep was back there. The Jeep tracks exactly the path the motorhome took around corners. All worked perfectly. My review is perhaps verbose. But you were forewarned after the 1st paragraph which was a delightfully concise general overview. You could have stopped there. But apparently you didn't and I am not sorry. I felt it was worth my time, as it was earned, to detail our experience and how satisfied we are with Dan's Hitch and Service Center. I was stuck in Elkhart for about two days when The was supposed to be just a turnaround. Everyone I talked to recommended Dans. After getting the cold shoulder pretty much everywhere I looked. I called Dan's mind you I was 25 minutes away and I called it about 11 AM on Saturday. They close at noon. I spoke to Ryan who I believe is a customer service manager, possibly or the shop manager Ryan did not hesitate to tell me to come by the sooner the better and that he could get me taken care of, even though they would be closing in less than a half an hour after I would be arriving Curtis the amazing technician who offered to stay late to make sure I was taken care of provided me with every detail and answer to every question I had and Ryan did the same as well along with sending me pictures of the process throughout. I cannot recommend these guys in this establishment more. I wish I could give 10 stars. They know what they're talking about. They do a great job and they are truly professionals. Thank you for going above and beyond Curtis and Ryan. I can't thank you enough.

Let me just say that customer service at the level that they provide is very rare today. There was a bit of miscommunication on one of the features on the trailer I was looking at and when I came to pick it up was disappointed to see the trailer didn't have what I was expecting. Steve was extremely apologetic, had the feature added to the trailer and delivered it to my house 2 hours away the following week. He could have very easily told me "oh well" but did the complete opposite. He was exactly what I look for in a dealership. We got handed off to the service manager who was unpleasant to work with and handed us off to the manufacturer Lippert. We kept getting bounced back between Wanda RV service manager and Lippert because neither wanted to own and resolve the issue. A year later June 2026 and we still don't have a working tankless hot water heater. Wanna RV does not stand behind what they sell in the first year of warranty and I would not recommend them. Their service manager was abrasive and most concerned about how much money Wana was out "were out $200 and can't keep throwing parts at it " A 40 ft RV is not like a car where you can take it into a service center. Lippert knows they have many issues with the GSWH-2 tankless but are simply trying to cover them up.

My wife and I loved the area and plan to pass through again one day. The service desk has been consistently respectful & helpful but although the sales staff was nice they were also condescending at times. I understand that the manufacturer is responsible for the build quality and components used but I did ask for the camper to be inspected for issues weeks before arriving and I was told that was part of their process. The camper had a few defects... hot water heater needs to be replaced bc it's leaking, slide topper needs to be replaced bc it's sagging and holding water and the biggest issue is that the slides leaked all the way home. When we arrived at home, the kitchen floor had a puddle of water on it because all the slides have a hole exposed in the bottom corners. I specifically asked for a service tech to inspect the slides before we arrived and they were obviously not inspected. We decided to upgrade the batteries because we were told they were AGM, only to find out they were flooded when we got home. When I discovered that they were flooded I called to ask what's going on and found out that they don't sell AGM batteries at all. To their credit they did issue a full refund but this revealed a lack of knowledge by the staff. We did receive a very thorough overview of the camper but we can't remember his name. We learned a ton of things about our new camper and even things about our existing camper we didn't know. We were very grateful for the walkthrough. They also did a great job sealing the roof. I just wish they put the same effort in making sure the slides didn't leak. Due to these defects we were only able to use the camper for 1 trip since the purchase because it's been sitting at a dealer in Raleigh waiting for the parts since mid September. We have decided to never buy another Rockwood and never buy another camper at this dealer.
