Absolutely unprofessional coaching staff. They are extremely immature and not adaptive to each child's needs. The turnover in coaching staff doesn't help and when it was Realis, it was slightly better. My daughter fell off the beam and it was very traumatic for her. Still willing yo go back, but not quite as ready for the beam, the coach was dismissive of her needs and our requests. While the coach is a young 15 year old girl, and immaturity is to be expected, this particular coach was extremely immature and treated my 7 year old as if she were also 15 years old-- so petty. If you are looking for a place to bring your little ones for gymnastics, ninja (parkour) or even looking to have a birthday party, i highly recommend wolfpak. We have been part of the wolfpak family for about a year now and it has always been a positive experience. The coaches are amazing at what they do and don't ever be shy to hang out with coach gabby at the front desk, she's great to talk with! Two stars only because the coaches are nice. However, they are unreasonable with their billing practices. We needed to take our daughter out for medical reasons. However, because we didn't have a doctor's note immediately available, they still charged us for the next month. You can't get a dr's appointment same month nowadays, and I shouldn't need a doctor to tell you my child is sick. I'm a parent and you should take my word for it. And I shouldn't have to provide several week's notice if my child is sick. I wasn't asking for a refund, just not to be charged for services I would receive in the future. Why should I be charged for a month where she doesn't participate?! Very bad business practices. read more

Both of my boys have taken classes at Realis for the Parkour, kinder, boy's gymnastics, and Acro. They also did the summer camp last year and loved it! They both enjoyed the classes and coaches. The coaches at the Redlands location are amazing. So far my daughter has had really good encounters and they seem compassionate. However, the front staff is usually one girl and she is rude . She makes things very difficult when asking questions. It made me feel awkward but after witnessing her with other customers its very consistent. I feel she doesn't accommodate and always try's to up charge more and if you question it she'll be like never mind or give a reason that doesn't seem fair. which is so odd because what if i didn't ask why my total was diff then what it was , she would've just up charged me. She's younger and really doesn't enjoy the kids. it's just uncomfortable but as far as in class i'm grateful for the coach's. because of the front desk i did not take advantage of summer camp because i wasn't sure everyone's role. There actually was a lady at the front desk when I first enrolled and she was so nice ! it really changes the atmosphere now that it's someone different and it makes me want to change gyms. read more

If your children are kind don't bring them here, the kids are rude; they are bullies & no one really watches the kids. When you notify the manager Lisa, she pretends to care and says that she will talk to the parents, but never does. She is a marvelous liar. When you ask to speak to the owners she pretends that she will put you in contact with them, but never does. There is an RV that I have asked be removed, numerous times, because drugs are being sold out of it and I don't know if there are any pedophiles coming to buy drugs and it is right in front of the gym, Lisa refuses to have it moved saying that everybody needs to make a living. They do not let the children take bathroom breaks. When my seven-year-old grandson complained that his back hurt doing one of the exercises the teacher his name is Ceba, screamed at him " I don't care" Needless to say we no longer attend. Do not pay the money, it is not worth it. read more

My daughter Jasmine started going to this gym last year she started in the kinder group and moved up to the Hot Shots group..she really enjoys coming here. This year she moved up and is now in level 2 with coach Paige, she absolutely loves going to practice and bring with her friends. We even had her 6th bday party at Realis and all our family abc friends loved the party and how big the gym was!!! The staff and coaches are very nice. I would highly recommend this gymnastics gym to any parent who is looking to put their child in gymnastics. read more

Very nice. My son loves to go there. The open gymnastics on wed used to cost $5.00 and they raised it to $10.00. Still only two employees like they always had. They said they raised it because of the Covid. Well that's not our problem. Hardly any kids are there anymore so it's boring for my child. read more

Very upset with this gym, they have a horrible policy. My daughter had to take a month off, so she had to drop all of her classes. Asked if she is able to makeup for that month while I continue to pay, but no. That was not allowed. There are currently six ahead on the waiting list. A simple warning before signing on.. they don't allow any vacation time. You will be dropped no matter what. In this case my daughter had to visit her dad in Texas while he is in the hospital. The coaches are great, and my daughter is very very upset that she cannot be a part of the gym anymore. Everything is great, except for that policy. I'm very unhappy with this gym, I would highly recommend you think twice, before introducing signing children, because it is heartbreaking as a parent, to see my daughter not being able to go back to her classes, even though she only took one month off. read more

This is a first-class facility unlike anything else in the area. I am very impressed with the teaching and the equipment they have. My kids absolutely love learning gymnastics here so while it is a little pricey, it is definitely worth every penny. read more

My daughter loves her coach and classmates but the management does not value their customers. Money is the bottle line and they refuse to work with parents. They told me they would rather we drop out of the gym completly than to freeze out account for a month because of a cut off deadline. This is 10 days before the start of the month, they need 15 days and will not accommodate any circumstance. read more

My son just joined the acro-team this year and my younger daughter is in the advanced kinder tots class and we absolutely love both programs. It really comes down to the coaches and both of my kids are getting both great training and mentor ship from their respective coaches. My daughter loved the classes and the staff was wonderful, however the help at front desk was unorganized and never once corresponded or resolved my problem. No one returned my phone calls. To make a long story short the classes filled up so fast and Wednesday's were the only day we could attend but due to conflict schedules Wed were not available . The lady at the front desk told me not to make a payment if all the classes were filled up. She was going communicate with the manager and explained to me that either the payment will be void or she will get back to me. The issue was never resolved and a couple months later I get a collection agency bill I contact Realis and leave a detailed message, none calls me back! Fed up!!! read more

Gymnastics was the first sport to truly ignite excitement in our young son. We first saw the Realis Acro team performing after the Summer Olympics at Market Night in Redlands' Ford Park and he immediately wanted to try it out. We had visited several local gyms and we were most impressed with quality of the equipment, the seasoned coaching staff, and ample oversight with attention to technique that Realis provided... fast forward two years we are still at Realis and our son is on the newly-formed Men's Competitive Artistic Gymnastics Team that recently qualified for the State Finals for their level! Coach Elijah is someone our son simply adores, and we respect his knowledge of the sport and his ability to successfully tap into the abundant energy of the boys he trains and inspire them to achieve their personal best. Beautiful gym, great staff! My daughter joined almost a year ago and LOVES IT. She's found a passion for gymnastics and has progressed so much with the great coaches here. Highly recommend. Genuinely nice people. Fun exercise for the kiddos. Oh and the prices are super reasonable/affordable. We chose to enroll in lessons twice a week. It's worked out so far with the availability of classes in the evening after the school/work day has ended. The class sizes do fluctuate, sometimes get overly full but the coaches do a great job at making sure everyone gets the help and training they need. Thanks everyone! read more

Let me start off by saying that I have never left a review. But in this circumstance, I was so appalled, I needed to. My daughter went to a trial beginning tumbling class. She is 8 years old. Never has done a sport or gymnastics. She was extremely excited. Now she will never go back and doesn't ever want to go to gymnastics again. I was in a separate room watching my daughter on a TV screen. They were warming up, then off to tumbling. I notice her doing push-ups for quite a while. Never tumbling. 10 min. Turned into 20. I noticed the instructor not having a handle on the children and talking sternly to my child, who was still doing push ups. Then I didn't see her on the screen. Time was up and I walked over to the door. You are not allowed in, so I assumed they would bring her to me. 5 min. Passed and no daughter. I peeked in the door, and I was quickly told I could not do this. I said, I need my daughter. A Instructor rudely, and with disgust, pointed to my daughter and said, is that your kid? My daughter was hysterical. I asked the instructors why you didn't call out my name to pick her up. She is new and we both don't know what to do. She said, I'm not HER instructor with an attitude. I pick her up and she immediately said that they were mean to her. She was told she could not touch the blue mat. She accidentally stepped on the blue mat. Mind you, this is her first day. She was told to do 50 push-ups as punishment, then she was put into a time out situation. No tumbling, no fun, no we know this is your first time. Listen, my son is involved with extremely competitive sports. We are not a wishy washy family that needs unicorns and rainbows. But, come on. Not a, she had a hard time today, we're sorry. Come back and we'll make it better. We left that building with NOTHING said to us. My daughter was CRYING and visibly upset. I don't know what kind of place these people are running, but if you can't make tumbling fun for an 8 year old, and you punish them their FIRST time there, you have problems. This is not just taken as word from my 8 year old, I witnessed this on the TV in front of me. I just wasn't aware of what was really occurring until she came out so upset. Think twice before sending your child to Realis. I will tell everyone I have to. Nobody will treat my daughter like this. You lost a good paying, dedicated customer. Shame on you!! This is the best gym in Southern California hands down. This second location is an incredible 22,000 sq. ft. beauty of a facility. The owners, my former coach, (and his wife) who built and run both gyms are masters at their craft. They have managed to create an environment that is very structured to get results while also filled with HEART, kindness and passion. I myself became a world champion under Youri's (owner) coaching two times (2002,2004) and continue to work with him on a regular basis. He and Tatiana have the CLEANEST gymnastics gym I have ever been in (which is rare), with top notch equipment and a coaching staff that includes multiple WORLD CHAMPIONS and hall of fame members. Realis is also known for its DIVERSITY and inclusive policy which welcomes people from every different background and helps them to become their best not only in gymnastics, but in life. If you live in The inland empire and want to enroll your kids in a program that will better them physically, mentally and with life skills, this is the place for you. read more

This place is a SCAM! After signing contracts, practicing for months, the owners decided to disband the boys team a month before competitions were to begin. Just a disgrace!! They tried to blame it on "other parents" that hadn't paid yet, but we were a team of 5 boys and all of the parents had paid!! Then they tried to shift blame on to coach Elijah, who was honestly the best coach they had there, he quit because of the owners lying to him. My son was in tears because of their shady business practices. The ONLY thing they care about is getting more money for their Acro team. Such a shame, luckily Inland Empire Gymnastics Academy IEGA was gracious enough to offer my son, & a few of the other boys, an invite to their boys team. The owner, Katie Willis, is such a pleasure to deal with. She's upfront, polite, encouraging, understanding, & she honestly cares about the gymnasts.....completely opposite of the Realis owners. I rarely write a review. For starters parents have to sit in a separate room away from your kids and either watch them on a tv screen or through a window. And mind you it is bloody hot in the rooms because their air cannot keep up. I agree with the other comments that this place cares more about money than anything. We loved our Coach! We specifically choose a date/time of class because of a specific coach.We had the same coach for almost a year. Then for 2 weeks in a row my daughter had different coaches. No one mentioned a thing to me. I asked the front desk about it and they said, "oh yeah. The coach isn't teaching on that day/time anymore for that class." I really would have been nice to have a heads up. Or common curtesy. This made up our decision to go somewhere else. I went to go cancel and the lady at the front desk said I had missed the deadline to cancel, so I'd have to pay another month. Fine. Looked at my bank account and they charged me more than my monthly dues. Apparently my annual dues were due on the month I canceled. So because I was a couple days late for the cut off to cancel, and my daughter is only going 1 extra month I still have to pay the annual fee. Ridiculous. The lady I talked to on the phone said that there was nothing they could do because they use an third party for billing. So if you do decided to go to this place, don't sing up for direct payment withdraw. lol This place is a mass production place. Definitely not a mom and pop place. I would not recommend them. They care more about $$ than the students. read more

My 8th grade began parkour classes 6 months ago, and he loves it! We were a little concerned since he is starting at an older age, but we have been thrilled. His coaches are thorough, knowledgeable and firm. They're supportive and know how to get the best out of him. The staff is professional and courteous and communicate well. My daughter will no longer train at Realis Gymnastics. I have discounted her membership because she was harassed constantly by her team mate, which was brought to the attention of the staff several times. On 11-10-20 the student threatened to "cut my daughters wrist" with a knife. I immediately brought this to the attention of the staff and the mother of the student. The mother denied that her daughter would say something like that. On 11-12-20 returning to practice, the student and her mother stopped me outside the gym before practice and proceeded to apologize for her daughter saying what she'd previously denied saying. Her mother admitted that her daughter threatened mine...but claimed it was my daughters fault for bullying hers - which she never did. Her daughter lied about doing it, then her mother continued to defend her actions. The gym did not adequately protect my daughter, they instead allowed a student that threatened bodily harm to another student to continue their training. It appears that the gym cares more about financial gains then the safety of their students. Especially in recent times no threats should be taken lightly. I do not feel its safe for my daughter to countiue to go to Realis Gymnastics because of the lack of consequences for that students constant harrasment and threats towards mine read more

Cannot say enough great things about this facility! Our daughters have been taking classes for 9 months and they love it so much we had their birthday parties here, Best parties ever! Every guest had a blast, and loved all the fun games. It was organized, all went smoothly, and the staff was truly amazing with all 25+ kids. They made sure each and every child was involved and having the time of their lives.
