My son has been attending for about three years, and we've had a wonderful experience. The staff is consistently warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. Always greeted with a smile. The center director and leadership team are approachable, understanding, and do their best to work with families while balancing what the center can provide. In preschool, the teachers are fantastic. The children still have nap time and plenty of outdoor play, which I really appreciate. The curriculum is well-rounded. They're learning early writing, engaging in storytelling, and building strong foundational skills in a nurturing way. Each month, we also receive updates and materials showing what they've worked on, which makes it easy to stay involved and see their progress. Having experienced multiple classrooms, from infant to toddler to preschool, I can confidently say we've had a great experience at every stage. Our baby boy is now 5 months and has been in the infant room since August, and we couldn't be happier with the care and attention he receives. The teachers are wonderful, sending us pictures throughout the day, and it's clear they genuinely enjoy being with him. They do story time, painting, sensory play, and even have a monthly curriculum adapted for each age group. It's so nice seeing that the hallways and classrooms display all of the children's artwork! We love that he gets to do tummy time, play with other babies, and even go on stroller walks in the outside playground. Our baby hit two new milestones since starting daycare- he's rolling both ways and sitting up early, and we think it's because he's inspired by the older babies! As a first-time mom to a 4-month-old boy, I was incredibly nervous and emotional about sending him to daycare. I don't leave my baby with anyone, so the days leading up to our start date were filled with anxiety. Even though I toured the center while pregnant and loved it, I still felt nervous on his first day. However, all my worries quickly faded once we settled in. My baby absolutely loves this daycare and the entire staff! He's always smiling at both drop-off and pick-up, and the joy on his face tells me everything I need to know. I also love receiving photos of him throughout the day--it's such a comfort to see him engaged and happy. The teachers are ALL so incredible. Ms. Kirstin puts the biggest smile on my baby boy's face every morning. I don't know how they manage so well with all these little ones, but they make it seem effortless! My baby has even become a little Picasso, painting several times a week, and from the photos, it looks like he's loving every second of it. As a breastfeeding mom, I was especially nervous about how he'd adjust since he exclusively breastfeeds and used to only contact nap. But the staff is so attentive, rocking him to sleep with ease, and they've created such a soothing environment for him. It's clear he's in good hands, and that makes my days so much easier. Being that my wife is pregnant and we both work full time, my in-laws flew up to help us take care of our two year old daughter. However, seeing how active and mischievous my daughter is, two kids under three years of age would have been a lot for them to manage. Also, we started noticing that our daughter was really bored around the house and really needed socialization. On a recommendation from a friend, we decided to check out The Learning Experience in Redlands. My mother-in-law is a former educator at Montessori and had really high expectations of student to teacher ratios and education. Initially, she wanted our daughter to attend a Montessori program but they were all booked for appointments and were closed during COVID. She and I toured TLE together and she was thoroughly impressed by the facility, from the cleanliness to the STEM program. Interestingly enough, she was for the integration of technology into student learning and saw this as a better method to engage children in learning. After about three weeks of starting my daughter in TLE, we couldn't be happier. The third and fourth days were a little rough given that she cried at drop-off, but now she walks in without saying bye. When she comes home, she excitedly tells us about her day. She will also randomly ask to see Ms. Jackie or Ms. Wendy after dinner. The best part is is that there is an app that keeps us updated on what she is going in school, what she ate, if she pottied. It's actually a little funny because sometimes the updates are out of order and the captions are incorrect but we appreciate it nonetheless. We also get daily reports from the teacher letting us know how she did during the day! If you are a parent looking for a great daycare center, The Learning Experience is perfect. read more

At drop off, I wouldn't know which classroom he's going and at pickup same issue. He would be in a total different classroom with a different teacher. My daughter started here in October. I was super scared and nervous, because she is very shy, introvert, gets scared easily and she did not speak English at all. But now I am more than happy that I had started her here at the Learning Experience. She started in Twaddler with Ms Myriam and in couple months transitioned to Prepper with Ms Priscilla and Ms Jacki. All the teachers are very very patience and supportive for my daughter. She did have hard time adjusting at first, I think mostly due to language barrier, and she did cry at drop offs for almost 3 months. Through all those times teachers tried their best to make her feel welcomed and safe. They even learned few Korean words to comfort her and that just melted my heart. Now my daughter does not cry and she loves going to daycare and she has fun everyday. She is picking up English slowly but surely and learning so many vocabularies, it amazes me. I highly recommend this center for your little ones. Everyone is welcoming and caring and very patient. Also their hours are 6:30-6:30 (with extra fees for early drops off and late pick up) which is great for working parents. Also they only close for major holiday, which is another great pointer for working moms like myself. I wanted to wait until I got my daughter out of here before I said anything. The communication with this facility is terrible. My daughter is diagnosed with Autism and somehow her main teacher was not aware of her diagnosis from what we were told by her and so my child kept getting written up for the smallest of things even for a tantrum! They combine classes because of the short staff I heard and that's unacceptable. But nevertheless the woman writing up my daughter was not even her teacher I heard it was a teacher from another class but her main teacher was written on the reports. Don't try to talk to any teacher or staff about any problem they either leave early or act like they don't exist. You have to catch them at the right time on the right day. BE AFRAID OF THE KEY FOBS my goodness! If you put that cheap little thing near anything and I mean anything they will charge you $10 to replace it. I had mine for 2 days and trust me I was not about to buy one after the other. I hear teachers are resigning and kids are being taken out like clock work here. My daughter was here for 3 weeks and me and her father had enough of the run around. My child will never return to this place she hated it and did not want us to leave her there. Please look for a facility that actually cares. Your child will thank you and you will be less stressed about what they might be doing towards your child. Don't let the colorful building and "curriculums" fool you into thinking this place is amazing. My child has now become defensive because of this place and it makes me wonder what did you guys do to my child? read more

My child attended here for one month before I took him out. The appearance is very clean and organized but it actually isn't the best. My child was never in the same classroom from when I dropped him off and picked him up. I always had to search from room to room to see where he was. He also never had the same teacher. It was giving very much understaffed. But the main reason I withdrew my son was because I receive subsidies to help pay for the cost of things. No one informed me that my cal works was NOT going to cover the entire monthly amount and I would be paying out of pocket as well. The price does not match the quality of service at all. My child never brought home art work, never talked about anything or anyone making him happy or wanting to go here. Granted kids generally do not like to go to school anyway. But he was previously in another preschool (we moved) before and I never had this problem. Just know what you're getting into before enrolling please people. read more

I was initially nervous about sending my infant to daycare, but 5 months in, our experience has been wonderful! The Infant classroom teachers (Ms. Kirstin, Ms. Kim, Ms. Lupita, and Ms. Miranda) are very caring and loving. My son smiles at his teachers when we drop him off and he looks comfortable and well taken care of when we pick him up. We are at peace leaving our son at this daycare because we know he will be well taken care of. Recently, at drop offs, he started to wave goodbyes at me while being held by his teachers!! Knowing that our son is a cautious baby and not the most outgoing, it says a lot about how much he trusts and likes his teachers. Also this place is very clean and hygienic. Our son has gotten sick fewer times here than when he was at another daycare for 1.5 months prior to coming here. We are very thankful for all the teachers' and directors' hard work! Love the Learning experience! My 5yo daughter has been attending for a year. She is in the preschool class with Ms. Ariana, and she also enjoys visiting Ms. Ann's class. She has learned so much in that time she has been there. I am not worried about her being prepared for kindergarten. She is always excited to go to school, and comes home eager to share everything that she is learning. She loves teaching us the ASL signs she has learned. They provide a monthly calendar and send home updates on activities and themes for the month. I asked her for her input for this review and she said "I love the crafts. There is so many fun crafts, and all my teachers!" We love all the staff. We are always greeted and have never had any issues. As a first time Parents, we did a lot of research on Daycares in the area for our 8 month old son and we are so happy we found The Learning Experience. We are teachers ourselves and it's amazing to see the amount of work, and planning the teachers at TLE do to give our son an engaging learning environment every day. The Teachers and staff are very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Things I love: 1) Daily Schedules for kids, posted. It's nice to know they don't "wing it." They do art, motor skills, listening, singing, counting, relationship building etc. 2) TLE App, gives you all the information you need throughout the day, what they ate, how much, what activities they did, diaper change times etc. It includes photos and will remind you when supplies are low; ie, diapers etc. You also get a daily sheet that goes into a little more detail about what they did, and any additional information; like, "he was fussy all day, not himself." 3) The facility is fenced in with a solid fence (You can't see the kids from the street) and has a door entry key system. 4) Children are separated into classes by abilities, so most students in their classes are around the same age and level which allows for better learning environment. Our son was taken out of the Newborn class early because he was very mobile, they didn't wait for him to turn a certain age. They even did "trial runs" in the Toddler Class to see how he would do before they decided to move him. 5) The facility has cameras. One of my concerns with the "at home" daycares was my fear of really not knowing 100% what was going on with my child. It's definitely gives peace of mind. 6) Teacher credentials; education, certifications are posted in the hallway for everyone to see. 7) They have early drop off and late pick up. 8) Very clean facility! We drop off our child for early drop off and we always see the staff cleaning and disinfecting everything, toys, counters, sleeping mats etc. 9) They do tons of fun spirit days, dress up days, picture days, etc to keep things interesting not only for the kids, but for us parents as well. 10) Our son is learning so much! Every day he comes home and does something new out of nowhere, my husband and I have a joke now that, "He must have learned it at daycare." We get lots of comments about how advanced our son is at only 14 months. I can go on and on about things I love about TLE. When we took our initial tour of the facility we saw a child getting picked up by her Dad, and the child was so happy and excited and immediately started telling her Dad about what she did that day. The teachers are incredible and the director is so hands-on and involved. She knows us all personally and makes a point to catch up with us every day at pick-up. We love the pictures and updates! The safety and cleanliness standards are exceptional. One of my favorite things about them that makes them stand out from other preschools and daycares is their inclusiveness. Our daughter has been attending since she was a newborn. We really like this daycare and we toured a lot of them. It's the newest in the area and is very nice and clean center. All the staff is super friendly there. Ms Kim in the infant room is great. We are now in Ms Bonnie's room and she's great too! Our almost 2 year old is talking more and learning new things, which is most important to us. She's always doing great activities and crafts and we can see them on the app throughout the day. We love The Learning Center, we were highly recommended Ms. Kim and we quickly found out why when I had to return to work. She has been amazing with our daughter and even worked to find ways to help her separation anxiety during a few of her infant developmental leaps. I recommend that you take your child somewhere else. Unfortunately there are many special needs kids who do not get proper care. Some of the special needs without proper care include special needs children with behavioral-health issues. These children present with violent symptoms that put other children and staff at risk. ALL children deserve a place where they can thrive but unfortunately this is not that place. If your child is special needs expect that they will not be treated well. If your child isn't special needs please be aware they will be exposed to some pretty violent behavior. I have seen teachers run after students leaving the class alone. Its not the child's fault, they need proper care and a proper place to thrive and succeed. That is my biggest problem, besides that the staff is not required to wear gloves to serve food and change diapers. These people are touching your children barehanded and serving your children food without washing their hands. They mean well but its clear that there are not enough protocols/rules/regulations here. As a parent I have seen questionable things here just standing and watching, please don't take my review lightly. If you question this then just watch a little more at pickup time. You might see some things you wouldn't like is all PROS: On the positive note if you feel like youve been here and you want to continue to stay but are unsure, just watch and dont be afraid to speak up. Maybe you didnt know they don't use gloves that often, if you see it then speak up for your child and other children. The biggest pro is that the staff DOES care about the children and they DO mean well, but there are NOT enough rules and regulations in place to uphold safety and moral standards.
