Terrible experience, would not recommend. There's a menu posted to show what the kids will be eating that month . They do not follow it . They serve whatever they have . They do not check to see if the kids actually ate . They are not allowed to bring in their own water . There is no one securing the entrance/ exit . One instructor told me my daughter ate this and that . It was strange because I know my daughter is picky . I asked my daughter what she ate that day and she said nothing . Goes to show they will lie to the parents to make it look like they did a good job taking care of your kids . The director or woman in charge is very careless . There was issues with my fees and she did not do much to help . Everytime i tried to cancel our reservations she would try to convince me not to . I ended up not needing a reservation that she basically tricked me into keeping "just in case" . I had to pay 2 weeks of child care I never used. Will not recommend this place especially if you have kids that cannot speak yet . Who knows what they go through and there is no way for you to know because they will lie to protect their business . read more

I have just enrolled my 2 year old daughter and my 1 year old son at this location, we are a week in and so far so good ! Taking my children out of this school was the best decision I made. When we started at the school with Ms. Samantha as the director we were in love with the school and staff. As the years went on to the current director you could feel the atmosphere change to a more hostile one. My children went through countless teachers with the current leadership and it just all makes sense now since unenrolling. For all incoming parent looking at this school definitely pay attention to the leadership here they are the reason we chose to leave. They charge a crazy amount for the summer fee and half the things they plan they end up canceling or barely even inform the parents of the dress up days. During the tye dye day if you don't provide your own shirt your child doesn't get to participate even after the parents spend an extra couple hundred dollars for a summer fee that's should cover the cost of shirts for the whole center! Your children will come in contact with countless germs and that is totally normal in a school setting but not even being informed if you or your child comes in contact with Covid during the height of the pandemic is beyond wrong! I honestly don't understand how this place is still in business with how it is being ran. read more

My child attended this center for a little over 2 years... The beginning was great with his first teacher Ms. Connie and Katie, he eventually was moved up with Ms. Lisa who was an amazing person and one of his biggest advocates given his struggles at times and we were heartbroken when she advised of her transferring. Unfortunately we had many struggles with the receptionist Jenny, who often overstepped her role and intervened in the classroom settings. Several teachers and parents reported her inappropriate interactions and aggression when she'd engage with the kiddos. It would almost seem as though she favored certain families and targeted other individuals. For example, sending my child home without much documentation or detail about the incidents. I also made sure to communicate with Julianna and make changes based on her suggestions to help minimize my child's disruptions. It wasn't until my child's ABA began reporting to me that Jenny was also interrupting their sessions when we had a treatment plan in agreement with the center and director. I had brought my concerns to the director Julianna and she assured me that it would be resolved and apologized for the incident that occurred which involved my son being sent home for throwing toys (which is unacceptable although he was only 3 at the time) and while Jenny was on the phone with me to arrange the pickup, she repeated yelled at my child in the most aggressive and triggering manner. I was assured that this was absolutely inappropriate and wouldn't happen again, but only a couple weeks later, it seemed as though he was becoming a target again due to my previous complaint. The teacher would also tell me how they witnessed the bias against my child versus the other children who had very similar habits, if not worst. That is when I decided it would be in their best interest to remove them from the center and transfer them to another site. Julianna originally did not want me to transfer my child and advised that it would best to try another company, which was concerning to me as many companies like to keep the children in network. My child is now at another Kindercare location and is doing amazing!! I WOULD NOT recommend the Calvary Circle location to anybody unless their corporate office investigates their current (office) staff members and provide them with the proper training that is needed although a new team would be best due to their tendency to cover for each other without proper repercussion. read more

As a mom, I signed all papers, one of which was about my right to cone at any time to check on my child and when I asked about this they said no because of the lockdown. I was essentially asked to leave at the door without even checking in. A woman took the baby and was about to close the door when I just said no. Miss Juliana who is in charge came and told me that we are not alliwed in, when she saw I was angry that I did not talk to anyone, did not drop off babys anything, she said OK abd let me in. She said baby will be ok. She let me in the place. I walked in that room where there was no teacher (she was supposed to cone.later) I asked when do they feed kids, she said he missed breakfast, there will be a snack soon, I asked to feed him his food, she denied that and said he will be ok. I left and called at 12 PM, when asked if he ate anything they said no, the funny part is they said he was asleep. I left work and went tgere to find a room full of toddlers sleeping on tge floor including my baby something I would describe as a scene from a horror movie where kids are forced to do something. I took baby home. He was hysterical and screaming like never before. It is 2 weeks later and he is refusing to eat and is just not himself. This place has to be shut down. I will not stop here and this place can not be licenced. Someone from the state need to inspect this place and parents do not give up your kids. read more

I've had such a good experience with this center since the day I walked in to visit. Ms. Julianna answered any questions I had and made sure I was comfortable knowing I'm a new mom. My 2 year old loves going everyday and is truly enjoying it. Her words are coming in and she showing big changes at home in such a short time. Do not bring your child here!! My 5 year old son was enrolled for only 6 weeks and a teacher was bullying him to the point of making him cry. She would put him in a corner for no reason, and poke his eyes telling him to go to sleep at nap time. But what did it for me was when I picked him up on Friday 4/17/2020 and he had bleach all over his back. MS. TRANG SPRAYED MY SON WITH BLEACH while he was laying down for a nap. Barton Road Kindercare has been such an incredible resource for my family. My son, Joseph, has autism and the staff are so accomodating and kind to Joe. They keep in touch with me througout the day if they have any concerns regarding Joe, and they are always available to talk to me and answer my calls when I call to see how my son is doing. Ms. Tracy has such a close bond with Joe. She is so supportive and willing to take extra steps to work with Joe and help him during the day. She is very busy, but she will make it a point to help Joe if she feels he needs special attention. Ms. Juliana is always available to talk and address any concerns or questions that I may have. I find her very professional and always trying to find ways that work with our situation. Since the pandemic began, it has been a challenge for me to find suitable daycare for my son. Either I did not feel the facilities would be appropriate for my son, or the providers did not feel comfortable working with my son. Kindercare showed no hesitation in working with Joseph. My son has been going to Barton Kindercare since January 2020. Ms. Juliana and Ms. Jenny took the helm and provided as much normalcy as possible for the kids and parents throughout the Covid-19 crisis. Kindercare disseminated information on the constant changes through emails and at the pickup station. The daycare was accomodating, flexible, and adapted to our everchanging needs as first responders. Although there were growing pains when the schools transitioned abruptly to distance learning, Barton Kindercare came through. The teaching team advocated for my son when he had difficulties with virtual learning. Lastly, the team made us feel heard and understood throughout these unprecedented times. I'm sure each Kindercare team member was affected by the pandemic, but they keep level-headed for the kids and parent's sake. I was looking for day care for my child and hence tried everywhere in Redlands and its neighborhood. Out of all the daycares I visited they were the most expensive once. Because it was near to my place I visited them and asked for their quotes. They gave me the price list which said $280. After a week I returned back with all the paperwork for admissions ,they increased the price to $300. It was shocking to me. When I mentioned about the previously discussed cost they said they change it weekly. When I enquired about the extra facilities they provide for being so expensive, they had no reply. The administrative staff is very rude and don't acknowledge you with right responses. I don't recommend it at all. I had taken tour of this center and they are no special. 20 kids with two staff to take care of them. read more

Kindercare Redlands is an amazing place. My two year old and nine month old are enrolled here and we couldn't be happier with the teachers, class structure, and site management. The kids love their teachers who've been wonderful to our family, making special accommodations for their vegetarian diet and providing a level of care far beyond our expectations. The toddler teachers are so patient with our daughter and have already gotten her so much closer to being potty trained. The infant room is staffed by wonderful people who love our baby and are always sending home artwork and pictures for us to see how he spent his day. Lauren and assistant director, Beth, are truly special people. They get to know every family that comes through their center's doors and greet you and your children on a first name basis (all 100+ of them!). One of my children has a major health condition that needs constant monitoring. Lauren and Beth created systems to help with my child's health condition monitoring, including point people for testing and a binder for daily test results. The teaching staff are all loving, kind, and patient caregivers. My children are excited to go see their teachers each morning and it is sometimes difficult to get them to leave! The school curriculum is great and our children are learning more and more each day. Our littlest child, who is two, is learning about how plants grow (in the dirt) and what they need to grow (rain and sunshine!) and is excited to share what she learns at her big girl school with us each day. Our oldest is reading (she's just turned 5!) and has personalized learning time with a phonics teacher a couple times a week. I can't say enough good things about this center! Yes they are pricey. (Though I have paid the same amount for two years with no changes.) Yes you still pay full price if your child is absent for any reason (including vacation). Yes they have a ton of rules BUT I wouldn't take my child anywhere else and have been coming here since she was 4 months old. Each of the caregivers is Federally background checked and fingerprinted. Paperwork and safety is paramount. The front door is key coded and changes every quarter. There are bells on every door that leads outside. All but one of the caregivers I have met (and I have tried to meet them ALL) seems to genuinely enjoy their job and the presence of children. My child does NOT CRY when I drop her off and she is chubby, freshly diapered, and smiling when I pick her up. They are always painting and playing outside and in the summer they have activities that include Water Play Wednesdays, a Snow come truck, and even a traveling stuffed animal truck (all included in your weekly fee). I would give five stars save for the price point but hey...isn't your child worth it? read more

I had enrolled my eight-month-old son in the infant classroom, and I have pulled him out and arranged other care because I was so unhappy with what I saw there and how my son and I have been treated so far, before he has even started. The preschool age and older kids always seem to be happily playing when I go there, but the infant classroom leaves much to be desired. The infants don't get to go outside and they have only a small mat to play on by themselves most of the day. There is one teacher for every four babies, so the teachers don't have time to play with or engage the kids at all (from what I observed); they're always changing diapers, feeding bottles, and dealing with each urgent situation as it comes up. So if a baby doesn't need anything immediately, they're just left sitting there playing by themselves and hardly spoken to. The changing table is up high and doesn't have a strap on it; and there are other potentially hazardous situations I observed that have to do with toddlers mixing in the same room with the babies. A toddler was running around climbing up on furniture when I was there and the teachers weren't able to do anything about it while they were changing diapers and feeding bottles, and he could have endangered a small two-month-old infant who was lying on a pillow on the floor. The babies (and toddlers) were left crying for longer than I was comfortable with, and when I repeatedly asked (to two different teachers and the assistant director) if reinforcement could be brought in, I was given a vague answer that "we can call in reinforcements" or "we always call in reinforcements if needed." But they didn't. And my son was the ninth baby there at the time, requiring a third teacher, and they never called in a third teacher because they had teachers out sick and didn't have enough people. When I brought up my concerns several times to the assistant director, she dismissed my concerns as "you're just not familiar with our environment." There was one toddler girl in the infant room who was left crying for a half an hour because "lunch isn't here yet," and then when the lunch did come, the baby teachers spent their time feeding the toddler lunch instead of taking care of the babies, including the small two-month-old who was left lying on a pillow crying. I even talked to customer care at the statewide office three times and they told me they would have the district director call me back within one business day, which she didn't; and I also left her a voicemail directly on her cell phone and she still didn't call me back. Paperwork-wise, I was also annoyed because I could hardly get the center director to take any time to talk to me or call me back. And when I enrolled my son five months before I needed him to start, I wasn't sure of the exact start date yet so I set it three weeks earlier to be on the safe side. The director had told me "it's never a problem to move the start date later." Then when I told them I did want to move it back three weeks later, they made me pay for the extra three weeks I didn't need, or else they would give away the spot to someone else. The assistant director also tried to tell me I would have to start paying even a week earlier than that, just to fill in from the date the other kid was aging out and making the spot available, even though I had never agreed to that date! So as I said, this center may be fun for school-age kids who can run around and play outside, do storytime and activities, etc. but I would definitely not recommend it for infants or toddlers. read more

We love Barton Road KinderCare. My son is in the infants room. The facility is clean and the room is very bright and cheerful. Ms. Kim is absolutely fabulous. The kids obviously love her; my son adores her. This is so reassuring, and very stress reducing for me as I know he is being well cared for. She and the rest of the staff follow my wishes with respect to feeding him my breast milk and home made purées, which I appreciate. I get real time updates with the KinderCare app, and I get pictures of my child almost daily. They are diligent about diaper checks and naps - we have never had a diaper rash problem. They have a strong policy regarding illness, which helps reduce the spread of childhood illnesses in daycare. I love the art work Ms. Kim does with the kids, and every month they have a new curriculum to encourage curiosity, learning, and independence. This is a safe, fun, loving place to bring your child for daycare. read more

My son is very attached to me and at first he had problems(and i knew he would) but the staff worked with him and me everyday. And it was a long road for me, hoping he would get over his separation issues and after two months of everyone helping so much, he walks in and says bye to me, and plays with his friends. They've helped give him that confidence and I've always seen how kind they are to the kids. I couldn't have asked for better staff. I will continue to bring him here as long as i can. I have always loved the Kindercare facilities for daycare. My daughter has been at this Kindercare location for about 4 months now and it's the best so far. All the teachers are great and always communicate with me about my daughters activities. They also worked with me with my child's potty training! I have not encountered any problems and I am very grateful that they are such an awesome daycare facility that I can trust that my child will be safe and greatly taken care of with my full time work schedule. Overall facility in OK/so-so condition. I don't know about other classes so I'm only reviewing the toddlers' class. It has very low in staffing ratio, almost no daily organized play or educational, fun activities to teach them anything like Kindercare's motto. Every time we come in to pick up our kid, teacher in charge seems stressed out probably due to low teacher:kid ratio; we very frequently see the teachers spend most of their times changing diapers, and although they promise to help potty train we actually trained him at home successfully. One particular teacher Ms. M in toddler's class kinda scared my kid for his poor behavior, not sure how, but every time every time we pick him up he stands in the corner and seems scared and not playing with anyone at all. The story is my kid got bitten/hit/scratched 4 days in a row and when we voice our concerns Ms. M says it's mainly his fault. In part of finding a solution my son was punished and separated from the rest. Needless to say we changed center now and he's much happier going to school instead of being scared and nervous. That's all I can say and this only applies to the toddler's class. read more

The staff is very unorganized, the curriculum is never the same. For a facility to promote such a promising "motto", this particular location missed the mark. This place is the best. My little one been going here since a little over a year. She's 3 now. Both the classroom staff and office staff are fantastic. There are always bulletins up, as well as the dry erase board out front with information as to closures or events happening at the school. Parents should communicate (or read bulletins) with staff and perhaps they would know that they were closed yesterday. I have to arrange with my employer in advance for a day off, which is what I did. Again ... a wonderful place for your child or children! read more

My 6 year old started here as a preschooler (age 4) when we moved from OC to Redlands. I was concerned, because we loved our preschool in OC and had never been to any other one. But, we quickly found that this center was just as awesome! Now, my oldest gets picked up from kindergarten and brought to the center, and he loves the familiar faces, playing with friends, and homework help. I recently had another baby, and he started here as well, at 4 months old in the infant room. I never have had an infant in daycare, and the staff was so wonderful at helping our family with this transition. They even got him to take a bottle effortlessly... the baby wouldn't even take it from my husband! The ladies are so sweet and loving towards the babies, and I love all the fun activities and crafts they do. I have to applaud the administrative staff as well. They work hard for their staff and parents, and oversee everything. There's nothing more important to a mother than her children, and I feel confident in partnering with Barton Road KinderCare for my children's care. read more

My daughter Elise started going to KinderCare when she was 4 years old. The staff are friendly and very informative. The private kindergarten (Ms Jennifer) and the Learning Adventure (Ms Sabrina) are excellent. Elise loves her cooking and phonics class. Ms Lauren and Ms Beth always to make sure to say hello and goodbye to everyone who walks through the door. The outside door has a code in order to enter the building. As a first time mom, it was hard enough to go back to work and know that I have to leave my baby...but what made it easier was knowing that I was leaving her with some of the sweetest, loving teachers/ladies at the center. The teachers in the infant room are amazing. Ms. Kim and Ms. Amanda are by far the nicest ladies I have ever met. They do so many fun activities with the babies, give me full updates on how my baby did each day and are so caring with my baby goes to daycare a little more sensitive than normal. Everyday I pick up her up, she is happy, clean, fed and busy playing with the other babies or with the toys. I have not been able to meet the teachers that work with the older children (besides in a passing hello), but if they are anything like the teachers in the infant room....my baby and my family are very blessed to be going there. I can go to work everyday and know that my baby is being taken care of and loved. She loves it there. Now that she is a little older and is dropped off, she becomes so excited.... her whole face lights up when she see her teachers. She giggles and never cries when we leave. read more
