Just left Selah Washington this morning heading back to LA, picked up that Apple Juice brand, Tree Top. Air was filled with Orchard tree aromas, weather was nice, skies were blue. People around these parts are so Happy with their daily lives. Makes Los Angeles look depressing. So I stumbled up this truck stop with an attached convenience store with a restaurant sign on it. Couldn't find any yelp info, checked Google reviews, thought I drop in just to find out. Service-- A+, server is AAA and takes her work serious, goes to each table, follows up, made excellent recommendations, true small town hospitality Food: no complaints, my server Stepahnie recommended the Philly chopped steak, it was better than Charlies Cheesteaks. Onion rings were intact, good amount of texture, crispiness, and the breading didn't fall off left and right. Value: No complaints, for the price to portion ratio, it's no wonder you have so many locals, blue collared folk, farmers, truckers coming in here. This is the quintessential no frills local small town convenient store / cafe / diner and you feel like everyone around you knows each other. Think in the future if I ever come road tripping through, I'll drop on in again. Ordered: Unsweet Tea, onion rings, Philly chopped steak sandwich, and a Clam Chowder (This is Washington State). Wine tasting through the Wapato wineries. Fill up here ~ gas is surprisingly cheaper (the cashier explained due to reservation rules). Inside ~outdated restaurant, usual soft drinks, sparse grocery goods, hand scooped ice cream. Homely friendly service. Nice rest break passing through. read more

Great service. People are friendly and the food came out quick. The outside appearance is kinda scary but DONT JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER. Chicken strips were plentiful and the fries were scrummy. Card machines are broken at least 75% of the time that I try to stop here. Only reason I continue to stop is there diesel is a dollar cheaper than anywhere else but you get the frustration of having a bunch of pumps that never fucking work unless you want to go inside and pay ahead of pumping the diesel. read more

like other people have said, half the pumps don't work, so you have to go inside for select ones. it was super crowded and we had to move around several times before we were able to even start getting gas.. then the ladies at the checkout refused to ring up our stuff and continued to talk to another lady while we were actively at the checkout.. then they told us to leave and continued to call "security" on us and some guy came outside to watch us leave... so nice.. definitely do NOT go here. read more

My mom went to pump gas, and selected regular gas but was charged for premium. Cashier told her that sometimes the pump "chooses for you" we've never heard of such a thing! Also, there's no way to know what gas was ACTUALLY pumped in her car if it's not the one selected. Never going again. read more

Such Trash. This place has dropped the ball twice with me and my family. The first time, my girlfriend and I were going to pick up breakfast for the family. The girl who helped us had a rude demeanor to her and she let us order a lot of food and when it came time to pay, she tells us that the debit machine doesn't work and we need to pay with cash. 15 minutes I will never get back. The second time we decided to give it another shot, maybe they had a rough day... The second time we went back for the same reason, we pull up the the drive-thru speaker and the girl says to pull up to the window when ready. We pulled up and waited for 20 minuets. No one came to help us. We then go inside and try to order the traditional way. My girlfriend asked for a menu and the lady working up front stared at us and appeared to be having a Vietnam flashback. She then mentioned that we missed breakfast, that whole time we could've gotten our orders in and the dining room was practically empty. And 3 of the waitresses were standing around chatting like it was high school lunch time. read more

Wolf Den has good food and good service. Today 1/20/19 was very bad. The food was hot and good as always. The waitress is another story. She looked like she was around 17 to 19 years of age. If I was the owner of the place, i would hire someone else. She only came to our table to take the order and bring it. I asked for plain creamer and she said she would bring it. Just for a FYI, the place was not busy. I waited about 5 minutes and no creamer. I had to walk up to the counter and ask someone else for it. Every time we needed something, I would have to stop her to get her attention. Did she come by and ask for coffee refill? No! I had to stop her again after I finished my meal with no coffee or water to wash it down. I'm a very generous tipper usually in between 18 and 22 percent. There is only one other time that I have never tipped and today will be the second time. You don't deserve a gratuity when I have to do as much work as the waitress to get service at an establishment that you are paying for service. I'm not giving it a low rating on the food. The low rating is because of the service and it's just one waitress because the other two had their heads on a swivel and were checking on their customers regularly. read more

Great food,but too many FLYS. You shouldn't have to eat with a fly swatter in your hand,seems very unsanitary to me.

Employees always seem to be in a mood and aren't nice. When I call they take more than 3 calls to answer or don't even answer at all.

You cannot beat the gas prices at this station. You save two cents a gallon by paying cash, but I'll tell you when it's hot and as long as the lines can be inside, it's worth it to just pay the pump price using a credit card for two more cents a gallon. People are pretty much idiots in trying to get in line at the gas pumps, but if you're crafty and sensible the wait is usually not more than one car. read more

No reasons to give more then one star for their restaurant. The food was not very good, service was horrible and to pay was impossible.

My favorite restaurant, when we have our regular waitress.. who listens to us and places our order CORRECTLY!! Cause soggy hash browns are not the business and when I ask for gravy on the side of my chicken fried steak, gravy on the side is what I expect. My husbands order was supposed to come with toast but we didn't get it until we were ready to leave... again... not ok... So, if you have a regular waitress.. stick with her!!! read more
