I actually wonder why the technology hasn't improved over the years. Seems simple enough that if something doesn't work well, you tweak it and make it better. At least most industries do. Not the automatic car wash industry evidently because we'll just keep coming by spending our money for an almost clean ride. Splash Express is by far the worst automatic car wash that I've used in several years though. The staff is friendly enough but the actual wash tunnel does not even begin to come close to cleaning your car. There were at least 3 or 4 of the brushes that didn't even touch my car on the right side. I'm used to a little dirt left over on my side mirrors and maybe a little dead center on the back of the car but this was terrible. I had leftover dirt on almost every panel and I say almost because I think that the roof was actually clean. I even ponied up the $20 for their best offered wash and this is what I get for my money? No thank you! They do offer free vacuums after your wash but they might want to stop that because it gives the customer time to see how dirty their car still is. I can't even say that if I had gone through multiple times that it would get any better. Do yourself a favor and wash your car at home. The investment is much lower and the job should get done right.

My husband I were on our way to Oregon after vacationing in Montana. Just past Toppenish WA and out…read morein the middle of nowhere our truck with camper broke down. It was 8 p.m. and we had no cell service. A kind stranger stopped and let us use his phone so we could contact our roadside assistance. It took quite a while as apparently there were several emergencies that night. When Tyler (our tow truck driver) finally came, he very efficiently got us all hooked up. It took some time as he had to drop the driveline. We rolled into Toppenish about 1:30 a.m. exhausted but when he went to the address our insurance company gave him, it was an empty parking lot. Toppenish is not the safest town to be in, especially at night so Tyler called his boss, Cody and asked if he could bring us to the tow yard in Granger for the night until we could arrange for repairs the next day. We stayed over and a kind Auto Zone employee brought us the truck part we needed and we got out of there around 3:30 p.m. It was really nice to see that there are still so many good people in this world. Thank you Dwight, Cody and Taylor for being so kind and helpful.
