The person I spoke with assured me they had plenty in stock, so I drove all the way from Wapato to Yakima based on that information. When I arrived, I was told they didn't actually have the tire I needed. Instead, I was pushed toward buying a new tire for $100, which I felt pressured into since I didn't want to keep driving on a spare. A couple of weeks later, my other tires are now losing air, despite never having any issues prior to this visit. That raises serious concerns for me about the quality of their work or honesty in general. I kept my composure while I was there, but I left feeling misled and taken advantage of. I've dealt with many other tire shops and have never had an experience like this. This place felt dishonest and unprofessional. It was 8 p.m. and we had no cell service. A kind stranger stopped and let us use his phone so we could contact our roadside assistance. It took quite a while as apparently there were several emergencies that night. When Tyler (our tow truck driver) finally came, he very efficiently got us all hooked up. It took some time as he had to drop the driveline. We rolled into Toppenish about 1:30 a.m. exhausted but when he went to the address our insurance company gave him, it was an empty parking lot. Toppenish is not the safest town to be in, especially at night so Tyler called his boss, Cody and asked if he could bring us to the tow yard in Granger for the night until we could arrange for repairs the next day. We stayed over and a kind Auto Zone employee brought us the truck part we needed and we got out of there around 3:30 p.m. It was really nice to see that there are still so many good people in this world. Vernon helped me tighten all the bolts, confirmed the fluid levels were safe and suggested that if I was still having problems on the road to look up their location near Yakima. Well, that was great advice, because the gasket was still leaking when we got to Yakima. We called first thing Saturday morning and Ashley answered the phone and got us right in . After about 45 minutes we had a new gasket and no more leak and at a very reasonable price. It's this kind of friendly service and a real desire to help people that makes a business successful. Having had a great experience with the service and people at two Freightliner Northwest locations we will definitely be back and recommending their services.
