The worst customer service experience ever! This location was recommended, as the closest location, when I got my drivers license. The parking area was super tiny with long lines to enter the lot and office. The ladies who work there seemed to not u set stand their jobs, including the one who kept "helping g" saying she had been there more than ten year. I needed to register my RV that I purchased in Nevada and moved to Washington with. I was told they don't register vehicles purchased out of state and would need a Washington bill of sale. After asking more questions I was literally told to move back to Nevada! I was finally able to get a temporary plate until I could get more documents needed for the state of Washington. Ii had to keep repeating that my RV is a motorhome. The ladies kept telling me it's a travel trailer. I explained that it has a large diesel motor on the front which makes it a motorhome. I also requested information regarding handicapped plates as a disabled veteran. I showed them the paperwork and they said they don't do that here. They didn't tell me the process or provide me with the necessary form. They only told me to go get a prescription from a Washington doctor. I ended up using a different office to get better service and found out this location had entered my VIN as a light duty truck and had to wait for the state to fix that too. Luckily I wasn't pulled over because I could have gotten into trouble for driving an RV registered as a truck! Drive to any other office to get better service! read more

I recently had to get a notary public service and looked up places in Yakima, WA. Cascade Licensing Agency came up and seeing as it was on my way to somewhere else I needed to be I chose to stop by. I got in and it wasn't too busy. I was seen promptly by the front desk clerk who notified the assistant manager that notary service was needed. She came up and was nice. The issue I have here which is why I'm giving 3 stars is that after proceeding to verify my document and ID and fill out her ledger documenting my presence then signing the form herself and stamping her seal on my form she told me the cost was $10 for which I then proceeded to take my card out to pay. She smirked and said we take cash only. Maybe I'm blowing this more out of proportion than I need to be but as a business who advertises notary public, I will assume you do this regularly. Therefore, a simple "hey this is going to be $10 and it's cash only" up front would be a better point of business and service. I feel awkward even having to say this as I am not a business owner myself l; I expect you all to be better. I proceed to their "conveniently" located ATM that by the way has a $3.50 surcharge for cash withdrawal. I hate speculations usually, but I can't help but think some kick back deal this local business has with that ATM and even if there is not one, let people know about it before hand. read more

This licensing place totally sucks. I went in 4 times with all the right paperwork and they wouldn't license the car I bought because they said the original owners signatures didn't match. Don't waste your time on these higjhly unprofessionals. read more
