Food, service were both great! I don't know why someone said flavorless, you put your own sauces on the food for them to cook. Smdh

Old, dirty reused soy sauce bottle. These bottles are not meant to be reused this much.

The food tastes good. The cleanliness is the down side of this place. The condiments on the table badly need cleaning attention. Light bulbs need replacing.

I have to admit, I was kind of worried about Wok on Fire seeing only 3.5 star reviews. But I'm working in the area for a few weeks and the one thing that Seattle/Bellevue does not have is an AYCE Mongolian restaurant. But I gave it a try and I came at least once a week for 4 weeks! What I like about Mongolian BBQ is that YOU choose your items and sauces. So if you don't like it, it's all on you! And service is friendly! As you walk in, just make your way to the buffet line and pick up your bowl. The first set of offerings are egg noodles, and veggies. They offer a lot more vegetables options than some places I've been to. I usually get spinach, broccoli, bean sprouts, bamboo shoots, water chestnuts and mushrooms. Then you can choose your meats: beef, pork, chicken and imitation crab. And lastly, the sauces - I really just get a ladle of everything. Then drop off your bowl to have them cook it on that ginormous cast iron griddle. Before you know it, your food is done! They add a scoop of rice if you want and there are other condiments available. A side note, the people that own this restaurant are from Chuuk! It's in the Micronesian Island chain - look it up!

I really like this place. Been going here for about the last 8 years, and I think they just celebrated their 9th anniversary a couple of days ago. It's a typical Mongolian Style Buffet. You can order one bowl for under $9 or all-you-can-eat for just over $9. So it's a fair value. The vegetables look very fresh and there's a pretty wide range of choices. I tend to love spinach, onions, cilantro, baby corn when they have it, and cabbage. The meat choices are good also. You can get chicken, beef, or pork for lunch. I haven't checked to see if they have a tofu option but probably. It's not something on my personal menu. I think where they fall short a bit is on the sauces. They have several watered-down down sauces that you can add before you get to the grill. But my problem with the sauces is that the garlic in particular is like water with a couple of garlic flakes in it. I'm looking for some real garlic so when I dip my ladle in to it I want to get garlic chunks not flakes. But mostly you get water. The grill is a typical gril although sometimes I don't hear the sizzle so I'm not quite sure if it's hot enough. They will clean the grill for anyone who has particular allergies, specially seafood or gluten. Oh and speaking of gluten, they only have about three seasoning sauces that are gluten free. However they do allow individuals to bring their own spices because they understand allergies. I think that's pretty cool. I always ask them to cook mine until it's dry. Just don't like my meat and vegetables and a bunch of soupy mess. So I definitely go with the requested dry plate. It means it's over cooked a bit but that works for me. When they hand you your plate of food fresh off the grill they'll ask you if you want rice. I usually decline the rice cuz I don't like white rice. Asian people think I'm strange because I eat a lot of their food and I don't eat rice with it or otherwise. Anyway, back to my point also at the end of the line you can add sesame seeds, peanuts, jalapeno peppers, teriyaki sauce, and a few other things. I never leave the end of the line without adding peanuts, jalapenos, and sesame seeds. It just gives it the best crunch, heat, and general flavor. That's about the long and the short of it. This is certainly a typical Mongolian Grill with a decent amount of choices to put in your bowl, okay seasonings, and a fair price. I actually think that when I go there I'm eating healthy because it's all vegetables and very thinly sliced meats. But, I way over do it on the sauces especially the chili oil and the sesame oil. And I know that's not good for me especially in the amounts that I use. Nevertheless I definitely consume far more more vegetables than I eat generally so I do feel good about that. I do recommend this place if you've never been there it's definitely worth checking it out.

Lots of vegetables.

There is also teriyaki sauce that you can add after they cook your meal to give it a more savory taste.

We came here for Mongolian grill and we got Mongolian grill!!…read more It seems like the "trick" here was to pile up the veggies first, then pile on the noodles after (because it doesn't fall over as easily. People were getting extremely tall "bowls" of food. The protein, the staff adds rather than us. Note for myself next time: add a LOT more sauce than the board recommends. They gave a shocking amount of meat (clearly not a sentiment shared by everyone in the comments, but I was astounded by how they really shoved the chicken into that container) and rice! When I come again I might skip the noodles and do a veggie meat stir fry to eat just with the rice. Also, I like the side sauce bar! I enjoyed pouring the Mongolian sauce over everything after it was cooked :D Also, this was delicious as leftovers, highly recommend.

The restaurant is spacious, bright, and always clean. The ingredient/food choices are always fresh and appealing to the eye. The sauce choices are also adequate... diluted a bit but they still result in a flavorful dish. One of the things I enjoy is the table of "finishing sauces" that you can add after your dish comes off the grill. Downside, it's not all you can eat, $15 gets you a good size bowl that you can fill as tall as you like and you get 1 protein included. And you can carry out leftovers (I always seem to have e leftovers).

It sounded like a great idea, so we set off to find it. It was cold evening, so when we walked in, we were happy the place was warm. Rows and rows of steam tables, a Mongolian grill, and a dessert area. It looked very interesting, so we grabbed plates and delved into a sea of families piling their plates with good food. As we came back to the table, we started to notice we were quite warm. We peeled off jackets and sat down to dig into our delights. Spring rolls, pot stickers, various prepared chicken dishes, some Mongolian creations all went down easily with great taste. Still, is just me or is it really warm in here? Yes, it is warm, I noticed as sweat trickled down the side of my Wife's face. The steam tables are so great in number that it makes for a slightly swampy warmth. Maybe the heater was on the fritz? No one else was really complaining about it. The food and service was good, for a buffet, and it hit the spot. Walking out into the night air without our jackets on was just heavenly though.

You basically choose all your veggies, noodles and sauce, then choose your meat and then when they finish cooking it, you choose your rice and sauce. The ingredients looks fresh and the place looks very clean. I love the seating near the window so you can eat and people watch. Beef with Moggol Curry Sauce (3/5) The veggies and noodles were cooked fresh and well but it just lacked flavor. That was partially my fault because I didn't add enough sauce during the ingredients picking phase and that's where this super customization can be a double edged sword. There's tons of sauces like garlic oil, chili oil, soy sauce, ginger sauce, salt, sugar (and a bunch of others I couldn't remember) and I really didn't know what combination was best to pick so I just sort of went with my intuition but I definitely did not put enough. The beef is the ultimate let down though. It was tough, chewy. and dry and was not pleasant to eat and after chewing several times I decided to just skip eating it. This is not an inexpensive dish and at $17.20 for a regular, I expected better quality meat. I also wish there's an option where they decide what sauce to put into your bowl to make it flavorful. Also another suggestion to the owner, please provide spoons. It's strange that there's chopsticks and forks for utensils but no spoons considering this is a rice dish.

I think this one is now my least favorite, but still worth a stop if you are in the area. Lots of easy parking, all you can eat for a semi affordable price and lots of good options to make your food exactly to your liking. Do be aware that there are no lunch prices on weekends and that if you are choosing to do take out, its by weight here which would get really pricey fast. My partner did not love this one as much and seems to not want to return back. He's been upset about the changing of how you sauce your food since covid, it's so hard to get a decent amount of garlic and ginger on your food these days. I really appreciate that they offer the things I require for my Mongolian Grill which are tofu, black olives and cilantro, these are not options at every place and really make me want to return here over and over again. It is also nice that they discourage you from standing around while your food is being cooked and want you to go sit down at your table to wait. I appreciate this, but do notice that this means your food might be up there waiting for your for a minute and they don't want you to grab it. The ambiance here is nothing special.
