My wife and I have passed this place many times on the way to the airport and didn't expect much from a road-side stand. We were pleasantly surprised. The combination of types of food they serve is very confusing as it's Americana, Mexican and Chinese all under one roof.
The location is basically an enclosed shack. Bare bones but clean. We decided on the 4 quesabirrias for $15. These were fried hardshell tacos with beef, cheese, onions and cilantro. They were generously filled and very tasty. They also came with cucumber, cilantro and onion on the side along with a small bowl of aus jus which went well on the taco. We also got an order of fries which were old school and also very good, especially when dipped in the aus jus.
We asked what their best sellers were and she said mostly the pad thai and assorted fried rice.
The food was served promptly and everyone was very nice.
While I may not go there for a typical lunch from the house, I would not hesitate to stop in on my next trip to the airport. read more
