Am I blown away by Wok It? No. Is it a decent place to get your Chinese food cravings out of the way after you've had a few? Sure. One thing I will say is that their Combo fried rice is pretty good. Beef, shrimp and chicken are the "combo" in the title in this case, and the meat is cooked well. Almond chicken - I did think tossing the chicken with thin shaved slices of almonds in a wok is a good idea, but there was just way too much zucchini for my liking, chicken was a bit anemic. Mongolian beef is one of my favorites in the cuisine, and while this one was better than the chicken in terms of flavor, the cooking was a bit inconsistent as there wasn't the even, thin strips of steak that you usually expect in the dish and was rather cut in different shapes, some being too small. read more

Ordered lunch through Uber eats, and I did the pick-up because I needed to stop by Walgreens in the same plaza. I ordered fried dumplings, Szechuan beef and Szechuan shrimp. I am from China, and I don't think there is any Szechuan element in those two dishes. They should put more spicy and pepper if they really would like to add "Szechuan" in the title. I decided to give this place a try for a quick bite on Saturday. It's divey, but that's okay. I ordered the Tofu Delight with Fried Rice and veggie spring rolls. My meal was hot, full of fresh broccoli, zucchini, etc. and the tofu was fried just right. The fried veggie rolls were good. I mean, this isn't 5-Star dining and it doesn't pretend to be, either. I see a whole lot of bad reviews but I didn't think this place was bad for what you pay for. I got the honey basil fried rice, extra spicy, and it was really good! The chicken was a little dry but overall the flavor was great. And the quantity was crazy! My order was to go and that box was PACKED. Tried this restaurant out for the first time today. We got Mandarin beef, Beef lo mein, and chicken and dumplings. The fried rice that I got with the Mandarin beef was extremely salty. First of all, the delivery was quick and the whole order was processed very quickly. However, that was the only good experience with Wok It. Ordered Mongolian beef, the meat wasn't tender as it should be for this dish. It was rather hard. The quantity wasn't "happy" either. No scallions, just onions. Not spicy at all, not even black pepper as traditional Mongolian beef should have. The steamed rice was hard and looked like it was made a few days ago! Received it quickly and everything was fine until I got home. The initial smell upon opening was weird, sour and off-putting. They did pack a lot of food into the carton but too bad it's inedible. Stopped by because I heard they had a lunch buffet. Wrong. It is not a buffet. It is a "purchase by the pound" food bar. They call it a buffet but it is $5.99 per pound. The options on the bar are mostly chicken dishes that are all battered and deep fried. The items were also not fresh. At 1pm, the items were almost all dry and stuck to the pans. Was in the area & wanted some wonton soup. Seen this place although it had a low rating decided to try since it's just soup. Can't mess it up that bad, but they did. Most laziest way to make wonton soup & they charged $4 for it. 4 frozen potstickers as the wontons really?? I could have made this crap at home. Not to mention I get home & half the broth spilled in the bag with the menu, sauces & my crab ragoons I bought(weren't that great either). Husband and I always get the hot and sour soup, egg tills, spicy combination fried rice, and a chicken dish. We love the food here and order frequently. The only downside is that they usually put tons of onions and veggies to offset the lack of meat in the chicken dishes. Other than that this restaurant is a solid choice for Chinese food. read more

This my first time eating here! I ordered spicy shrimp fried rice !! It's so fresh and delicious!! The portion sizes are amazing!!!! You definitely get a bang for your buck!!! I would rate this place zero if I could. The servers and the owner (Min) have absolute no sense of customer service. They made a mistake with my (first & last) to go order and were unwilling to replace with the correct one. Even when offered to pay extra, the owner was rude and would not accept their mistake. Service aside, the food itself is sub par. They serve frozen dumplings as fresh, the soups are horrible and entrees are simply disgusting. The quality of the food itself is questionable. 1 star because you can't give no stars. 1st time reviewer but a am so appalled by the owner's customer service. -Diner beware Worst customer service I have experienced for years! The food quality has definitely gone down since the new owner Min Kim bought out Lover's Egg roll but when my wife picked up our dinner order on Sunday night 6/11/2017 I discovered my meal, General's Chicken, was made incorrectly, I had asked for no bell peppers and they said the dish was supposed to have broccoli and I asked them to add water chestnuts. The dinner had at least 10-15 chunks of bell peppers as for the broccoli there were 3 very anemic slivers of broccoli they could not be considered florets by any measure. When I called to just have the meal replaced at a later date, I was told that I would have to return the meal. Now this restaurant is on my way home from work but normally a 10-15 minute drive from home. I was absolutely flabbergasted at the request. Now, I have had incorrect orders from drive throughs of major food chains, Chic-Fil-A, Jack in the Box, MacDonald's, and my favorite pizza I Fratelli's pizza ( great pizza by the way!) to name a few. Now I don't usually have any problems maybe once or twice over a year's time. All I have ever been asked was that I give my name and another chance for them to correct the problem on them, every time they have replaced my entire meal, if it was a meal combo, not just the incorrect item. If Wok It had done this, you wouldn't be reading this now. The owner/manager Min Kim said it was his policy to have the food returned. He needs to rethink his policy. He can't reuse the bad order. He is going to loose a customer that is buying a couple meals every 2-3 weeks over what would be $2-3 in food costs to him. Plus, hopefully because others will read this, loss of other new business deciding to choose elsewhere because customers are treated poorly. Now please don't get me wrong, after my last call with Mr. Kim I told him that I wished him well and that he will realize how poor a policy he has chosen to put in place. I hate to see a business fail but if they can't learn what it takes to deliver great customer service they don't deserve my or anyone else's business. My future Chinese food business will now go to someone else that appreciates and values their customers. Mr. Kim has my number if he wants to call and apologize for poor treatment and is willing to replace my meal. I'm still not asking for a refund. Thank you for your time to read this, time is a precious commodity that can never be replaced. Update 9/9/2017 Mr. Kim never called, and after seeing reviews posted after I posted mine I guess I am not really too surprised. If you will take a strangers advice, find another place to eat, things look like they are going from bad to worse. I will never go back until it changes ownership, at the rate it's going it won't take much longer. Also came with some fresh veggies not that soft ass old broccoli places normally use. Im a real stickler for my chinese food and this is really OK.
