Stopped by Lin's Kitchen the other day and honestly wasn't expecting much, but it ended up being a really solid meal. The place is pretty simple, nothing fancy, but the food is what matters and it delivered. I ordered a couple of dishes to try, including their fried rice and orange chicken, and everything came out hot and fresh. The portions were actually bigger than I expected too, which was a nice surprise. The orange chicken had a good balance, not overly sweet like some places, and still had a little crisp to it. Service was quick and straightforward. Nothing over the top, but they got everything right and the food came out fast. As always we love Lin's Kitchen! We have a Christmas Eve tradition of eating Chinese food and we reminisced of how good this food was so we agreed to order take out from here. We live in Fort Worth Alliance area so yes we intentionally drove 40 mins for what we remembered as the best Chinese food in Irving. My dad, daughter and I ordered the orange chicken with fried rice, my wife the beef and broccoli with fried rice, my mother in law the Mongolian beef with fried rice and a quart of egg drop soup that she absolutely loves, my father in law had the chopped suey. We also ordered their yummy crab Rangoon and egg rolls. My daughter also had their lo mein noodles instead of fried rice. Their service is always the best on time and everything is packed in nice and neat and stapled together so it wouldn't open out of the bag. While it may look like a hole in the wall the ambiance is always nice and very clean and you can see the cooks in the kitchen cooking. Thank you Lin's Kitchen! PS. I've been coming here for sometime now. Great service quick and in and out with great flavor. Don't know if it's quite inflation or if it's greed. But the prices have become outrageous. This is what you get for $10 plus tax comes to $10.83, better off, going to a Buffet. This is just not enough food for the price. really I remember when the container used to be double the size portion. I do not imagine me going back. For me it's just not worth the price anymore. Parking is a bit hard to get out of since you need to back into a busy street 4 foot behind your car. The food is good but when you see they charge you $4 for the soy sauce and hot mustard packets then I stop going for the principal. Never has a Chinese place charged me for a soy sauce packet. read more

Best Asian takeout in all of Irving and Las Colinas. The area is a little rough and the parking situation is horrible since it's directly connected to a busy 4 lane road. The lady must of been Ms Lin and she had a nasty attitude. Took about 30 min to receive our food. Didn't think to check since places like those usually are good about the order. Drove home opened my order my kids lo mein was not veggie it was combination whatever that is with all types of meat, the plates were small they were half of the large hefty Togo containers. I was very disappointed . Want a refund the food was not all that. The rice only included about 3 peas , maybe 10 pc of chicken , rice and a lot of bean sprouts . Unfortunately when my boyfriend and I went to Lon's Kitchen we were unable to eat in the restaurant. The restaurant does not allow dine in and we could only take it to go. Once we got home and starting eating the food I realized that my food (the triple delight) was watered down. And the triple delight was suppose to come with beef, chicken, and shrimp. I work in construction as you can see on the laptop some sand and dust. I read reviews about this place before going on lunch, I was excited to go in. Small spot you could miss it if not careful. Walked in I liked the atmosphere it was basic, there was a little room to the side with a table tennis setup and some Legos. Young woman at the front took my order sat back down and it was ready in 10 mins. Got to work opened everything up and I noticed there was a smell coming from the Mongolian beef. It smelt like a cleaner type smell I tried some of that and the rice. I don't know if something spilled on the veggies and beef but it was very vinegary could not eat it. The egg roll and egg drop soup were good the wonton chips that go in the soup were the best things out of the whole meal. It was lunch special so got everything for under 10 dollars which is not bad. This little place is reliably good Chinese food, with amazingly cheap lunch specials (entrée, egg roll and soup). The menu has so many choices! I have enjoyed the Moo Goo Gai Pan, and the Beef with Chinese Vegetables so far, and both are excellent. read more
