The owner, Joey, is incredible. Computer repair work is dealing with the unknown, and it's hard to know how much work will be involved. What seems like a 5 minute job, can turn into a couple of hour job. Joey's quotes are fair, prices are great, and A+ quality. I have been super impressed by Joey's ability to quickly troubleshoot a problem that I have could not figure out. I had an old Xp computer that had some files and programs on it that were not on my new PC's. Microsoft stopped updating XP, and my employee was no longer able to use it for web browsing due to an SSL error. I did tons of research trying to figure this out, and I finally gave up. Took it to Joey, and he got it working for $40. Amazing! read more

Joey is extremely helpful about solving your computer issues. He is very reliable and adds software and programs that you may potentially need. He is very friendly and honest which is important to me. He always answers his phone and gives me updates if I am ever curious on the status of my computer. I'll definitely return here if my computer has any future issues but Joey will try his best to make sure that you don't return soon as he wants your computer to be problem free. He also gives advice to help maintain your pc from any future problems. read more

This place is bad and will charge you a lot money they take a lot of time too so literally this place sucks can't even fix a computer right read more

Since my personal tech moved out of state, it was hard to find someone trust worthy to work/revive my old PC. He knew what to do. No bull. Excellent service. What more do you want. Will be servicing my laptop here as well. Thanks, Joey read more

Awesome service! Got my computer back the same day, even went and fixed a few things I didn't know know about. Definitely would come again

I was really in a pinch, my usb tip broke and I had no idea how I'd recover my files. I was in full panic mode! He was able to solder wires together, enabling him to download my files and transfer to a new usb. Over 4,000 files recovered... I am forever thankful! Yes, I've also learned my lesson to backup my files frequently to my hard drive. read more

Joey is an intelligent guy that knows his craft, does his job well, and hooks you up with cool shit. He's hungry for business as he runs a mom and pop shop like business. Don't settle for shoddy service at the geek squad. They screwed up all my drivers. It was like the didn't know what they were doing or just didn't care. It isnt the same here. Joey is very delicate with your hardware. He knows what he's doing and will give you a great bang for your buck. read more

I was referred to this place by my mechanic, I told him that my laptops LCD screen had burnt out & that I needed to fix it, & if he knew anyone who fixed computers. My mechanic said that he had a friend named Joey & that I should pay him a visit. I payed Joey a visit & he told me to bring my laptop to see exactly what the problem was. My consultation was free & he told me that my LCD had burn out & that it was going to cost me $80.00. I like what I heard, $80.00s not bad compared to other places who charge an arm and a leg. To fix my laptop it took about 2 weeks due to parts that had to be ordered & shipped. Over all when my laptop was working again I was very satisfied & jumping w Joy that I had my laptop back. So far I have visited this place 5 times for other reasons. I like coming here Joey the owner & fix it guy is great friendly & always willing 2 work with customers. The only thing that I don't like is that Joey takes a long time to do repairs or sometimes he forgets to call you when its needed, but then again he does work alone its a one man shop so who can blame him. No matter what, I'm happy to have met him, he' s a cool guy & he deserves the business. So to end this review SEE YOU SOON JOEY... read more

I found the store by searching for nearby computer repair stores other than GeekSquad (too expensive) via Yelp. I stopped by the store to fix the screen hardware on my laptop. Joey was friendly and helpful in troubleshooting my problem. He went out of his way to keep me updated on finding a hard to find part on my ASUS laptop, and although we both couldn't find the part needed (I also searched online extensively), he didn't even charge me despite putting in at least 2-3 hours total in work. I insisted to pay $20 for his troubles and a small token of my appreciation. Joey has the best interest of the customers at heart and I wholeheartedly recommend him to others. read more

I was looking for a Computer repair place at Yelp and found Wizfix Computers. Joey, the owner himself did not disappoint me. I had my Apple MacBook Pro battery replaced. Considering I bought the replacement at ebay (brand new & orgiinal), the battery did not work :( I know it was not easy to remove my old battery from my laptop, and then remove the non-working newly replaced battery again to return to me, he still gave me a "credit" for what I paid for. Price is so reasonable compare to others. Very knowledgeable person. Finally found a tech guy to trust and a go-to person. Thank you, Joey, for an awesome customer service. read more

this is my 2nd update BECAUSE, that's how much i think of joey and his work ethic at wizfix over the years i've known him. i had my computer for over 15 yrs. and it still had windows xp and i liked it that way but as time went by, it was 'finally' time that i 'had' to go to something else. i'm 'not rich' but went looking at fry's electronics, only because a friend had given me a gift cert. toward a computer and i got one, was 'really excited' but it SUCKED, so bad, filled with 'garbage' that no one wants and it was as S L O W as the dial-up days. i called joey and he said if i gave him some time, he'd see what he could fix up for me. 4 days later-he said 'it's ready' and i returned the p.o.c. (piece of crap) computer i'd gotten at fry's and went to see joey and the comuter he put together for me is/was 'so perfect' for me, it literally 'was' made for me. i love it. thanks joey, you're 'the best' read more
