He got back to me the same day with a quote and availability to fix my problem the very next day! His quote was great and so were the Yelp reviews, so I said YES! He arrived and got right to work, fixing the grout that was cracking between my kitchen backsplash and granite counters. His work is impeccable and he even polished our granite countertops! Our kitchen practically looks brand new. On top of all of that, Jorge is one of the nicest people I have ever met. After the job was "done" we had to call another tile company to clean the grout smeared all over the tiles, a painter/carpenter to restore the cabinets, and a plumber to clean the pipes from the grout that was clogging the drains. There was another company on Yelp that advertised a special price to clean grout, but when I called that company they raised their price. They did not honor their special on their site. I dislike the idea of a company advertising a flat fee price, and then later raising their price once you speak to them. I found Wize Choice Tile and Grout Cleaning on Craigslist. His price was higher than the advertised price of the other company, but equal to the price that the previous company gave me. I elected to go with Wize Choice Tile and Grout Cleaning. I just moved into a house. The tile and grout in ALL of the bathrooms of the house had mold. I couldn't understand how anyone could take a shower that had mold in it. Thanks to George, our family can shower without getting grossed out. I suggest giving George the EXACT size of your shower/bath tub in order to avoid any misunderstandings. Let him know if he'll need to grout and/or caulk your shower/bathtub. Also let him know the color of your grout. Fortunately, he had my grout colors. I highly recommend George. When I asked him to retouch areas, he didn't give me that look that some people give you. You know that look... when you ask them to do more things, after they've already finished the job order. I will be posting before and after pictures of one of the shower stalls that George did. I just posted the before pictures. I'll post the after pictures soon. George also has a company called Supreme Power Washers Company. He asked me if I wanted to have my brick walkway power washed, but I elected not to do it. I should have asked him to power wash my brick walkway, because the price was quite reasonable. I'll be contacting him soon, because I'm having the gardener pull the ivy off of the guest house. Afterwards, I want George to power wash it so that it'd be ready for a painter. read more

I am beyond shocked that this place got 5 stars. Is seems literally impossible. First of all, all I needed was one tile replaced in my shower with grout around it...and the caulking repkaced around the tub and around the ceiling of shower, which is also tile... keep in mind that George was barely there one hour, and charged me 440.00.. a lot for an hour right? Well, the whole job was a joke, Helen Keller could of done it better. The existing grout was non sanded bright white, They used sanded grout, didn't match at all, they got sandy grout residue all over tiles and around the tub, They told me that when all the messy residue dried, I should take a warm wet cloth and clean it myself... The residue dried everywhere and isn't coming off. All the areas where they tried to apply caulking, are messy, bumpy, and no clean lines. Some areas were over looked all together.. all this, and I should mention that the dried sandy grout sits all around the top of my brand new 1300.00 Soaking tub... now I must pay a new tile company to remove all this frightening work, hopefully my new tub won't be scratched, although I doubt that's possible. I feel very victimized and humiliated... I've never written a bad review before, but this was so violating, I felt that I had no other choice but to spare any other human being from being victimized also. Please please RUN DON'T WALK.... Wize choice Will rob you blind and leave you with a much larger problem then you ever imagined, even in your wildest dreams. Thank you for reading. And now can you believe his response, blaming his frightening work, on me being a gay guy??? Seems like that violates many many civil rights laws in our country. If you want someone who shows up on time, clean and smelling great; someone who works nonstop while remaining cheerful; someone who knows what needs to be done and does it very well... HIRE JORGE. He is a professional and a true craftsman. He cleaned my bathroom's 17 year old stone tile and grout, recolored the grout and sealed it. It looks new! My building has about 20 lighting towers covered in tile across the front entrance that were looking really bad. Tiles falling off, tiles chipped, top of the towers coming off...really looking bad. After contacting five companies to inquire about grout & tile cleaning services, I decided to choose George at Wize Choice. George answered the phone when I called, and although he was doing work at the time, he was polite and professional. We set up an appointment for him to come in and check the floors in order to get an idea of what I needed, and be able to give me a quote. He came in and was able to provide me with a quote right there and then. He went over the work he'd need to perform and the length of time it would take to get the results I wanted (about 6 hours of work). He promised that my floors were going to look like new, and he was absolutely right. I honestly, didn't think the floors were going to look the way the look now. They were extremely dirty and the dirt had gone deep into the grout. We set up an appointment fairly quickly and he worked pretty much all day that day. He took the time to go through every nook (kitchen, laundry room, and dining/kitchen areas). He worked really hard that day to get my floors look like new. His price was fair and he was worth every dollar. George was not only excellent and professional, but he was very nice too - great attitude. For tile fixes, I recommend Wize Choice. I got an appt right away to get an evaluation and once we agreed upon a solution to my problem (I needed to get the color changed in the grout in my mosaic tile), we set an appt to get the work done. Not only did Jorge arrive on time, I was able to leave the house while the work was being done. Once done, I was so happy I got look I was hoping for. George knows we are unhappy with his work, and he should have acknowledged that the completed work was not up to par. There are extenuating circumstances, but in the end we paid $660 for a complete job, and I am yelping about the lack of value for the cost in this situation. I feel very ambivalent about this review. On the one hand, George was a nice guy, came out to quote promptly, and scheduled the work quickly. I needed the work done quickly in a grungy looking bathroom in preparation for putting our house for sale. The quote itself was extremely high for the work that needed to be done: some grout repair and replacement. His quote was for 2 workers at 6 hours of work each. He said that his work was superb, it would look sparkling and new, and if I was not happy, I did not have to pay. Before he came to do the work, I started to think about it, and based on previous experiences, thought that perhaps he overestimated the time it would take. I decided to ask if it were possible, to get an additional small shower refreshed (cleaning the grout, etc. to make like new, within the time period). I also asked him to re caulk my kitchen sink, and fill in a small chip in the travertine floor. He said he would charge an additional 2-man hour for that. I thought, what the heck, he's here, and I need the work done, so I agreed. However, when he arrived, he let me know he had been in a severe head on collision, the week before, and showed me the massive stitches in the back of his head. I felt terrible about this. Unfortunately, he did not mention this to me when he came out to do the quote a few days before. I wish him a speedy and full recovery. He definitely should not have been doing this work, he should have been resting in bed. He brought a very young and inexperienced assistant who I assume did much of the work, at least that is what my bathroom looks like. I'm sorry but this kind of work requires a craftsman, and that is what I thought I was paying such a high price for. The grout in the main bathroom is an improvement on what it looked like before, but the work is messy and incomplete. He said that is what he understood I wanted, and got confirmation from his assistant. This is despite the fact that I sent him photos, and was very specific when I showed him at the beginning. It now looks even worse. In addition, there is smeared grout that needs to be cleaned up from the tile everywhere, and on the floor, and it is just not crisp and not professional. There were visible small holes in the grout that needed to be fixed. He just wiped caulking into them (sloppily). We decided not to fight it, given his delicate physical condition, and the knowledge that it was just not going to get any better. Today my husband have a mess to clean up. Lessons learned with respect to any future contracted work: - Don't get work done at the last minute, and trust your gut when you think someone is overcharging - Make sure that there is no question about what you consider acceptable work and clean up practices. - Make sure you get what you pay for, for example 2 professionals in good health I truly wish George good health. Hopefully his true work is much better. Now I have to move on. read more

Jorge is the best!!! Not only was he patient with how impossible I am to pin down and get a hold of, he came over on a weekend to assess our floor. We have hexagon marble tiles that were FILTHY just two years after installing them. George got them gleaming white again. We needed to have our granite polished as it had a small 6"diameter area to the right of the sink that had become dull. George came out and polished the granite, but missed the spot needing attention. He did agree to come to correct the issue. He worked for a couple of hours this time and left the granite looking worse than when he started. He told us he needed some diamond pads to shine it up, but had to order them and would be back in a week. He does well at showing up when he says he will. This time he said he just needed to polish it and he would be done. When he said he was done, there were still large scratches around the sink. He got his tools and attempted to fix it again while he was here. When he said he was done again, there were two large dull patches left on the granite. He did say he would come back and try again, but at this point I ran out of patience and said I would find someone else. read more

First of all, George is a very friendly guy. He is also great at follow up (after the job, he texted me multiple times to make sure the issue we had with the grout before he fixed it was no longer there). We did have a small issue where part of the grout he put in, didn't dry properly and it came off. I texted George and he came 2 days later to get it fixed. Wize Choice, NOT! I hired George to replace some missing grout lines in certain areas throughout my home. He conveniently, completely forgot TWO rooms that he was supposed to have done. I couldn't believe it when he told me I didn't show him those two rooms, especially since he charged me almost $1.2K to fill in grout lines that he did not properly ground out and prepare for new grout, which by the way is popping out already after 2 days. They left icky residue behind, white chalky mess on Travertine and sticky film on smooth tile. He convinced me to let him wash my stone floors, said he could make them "pop" and look brand new again. I should have never used a process like the one he sold me on!!! He got water in door tracks that caused water intrusion to the floor beneath. Thank God I caught it two days after he did the job. I used Wize Choice 3 years ago for a white tile kitchen that I thought I had to replace. George did a great job then! 3 years later it needed a refresh and he still does great work. I also had him clean up two stone and grout showers which now look fantastic. George noticed a couple spots after his work was done and let me know to call him if it doesn't look good after it dries.
