Everyone was so kind here. Our waitress checked in on us many times to make sure we liked our food. Ambiance was relaxed. I mean even with the line outside, I feel like people were in and out pretty quick. We didn't feel rushed! Fish and chips 6/10: The fish itself was decent. I almost thought the outside coating was pale although crispy. Chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream 7/10: Nothing bad to say. It was a great pairing. Chocolate mousse cake 11/10: I'm just saying but... me and my friends were still talking about this cake DAYS after coming here. This is your sign to order this !!

Went here for breakfast it was yummy and our server was very nice. I love the decor on the walls as well. When I travel here again I will come here to visit

It's ok. The ambience is if a sports pub decided to have more witchy themes and every TV played something other than sports. The good? Service was quick, friendly and our waters never went without being filled quickly and our finished plates were cleared in an extremely timely manner. The food is none offensive, very American (flatbreads, sandwiches, burgers, you get the gist), and everything came out completely edible but nothing to write home about. Good place to grab a quick bite to eat and fill yourself for a long day of walking around the charming city of Salem!

We came to Salem to explore and after a few tours, decided to stop here for drinks and appetizers. Since it's Halloween season, there was a line when we arrived, but the wait for our group of four was only about 20 minutes. The place had a lively vibe with old-school R&B playing and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. We tried the margarita flight, which was too sweet for my taste, but would be great for anyone who likes sweeter cocktails. I also had the mystery shot, which surprisingly tasted pretty good. Service was a little slow getting our order in, but given the Halloween crowds, it was understandable. For food, we ordered the nachos and flatbread both were solid choices. I also got the Witch's Brew cocktail, which was supposed to come with a souvenir cup, but unfortunately, they were out by the time I ordered.

There was a line to get in. Staff just told me to stand in line. There was no name to put down or reservations. Just stand and hope you're it out there too long. I have seen people move along. I finally went in about 20mins later. Waitress was friendly and easy to speak with. They had a nice margarita flight option and a mystery shot for $5. Loaded nachos and egg rolls (Philly cheesesteak and buffalo chicken combo). It was crispy and flavorful. It was cooler inside than outside because of the air conditioner on blast. But overall it was a nice place and decor suits the area

Brought my mother in law to Salem today for her birthday with my family. This place was so nice inside and offers outdoor seating. The staff was super friendly! The food!! So so so good! Came out with pretty decent timing and was delicious!! I'm a food enthusiast and their food was exceptional. Flavorful and presented beautifully.

The food was delicious...but to add 20% gratuity for a party of 2 is ridiculous. What made it so much worse though is the server didn't point it out to us. I have been a server for years. It is unethical and greedy to not let the customers know there is already a tip added. This is a way some people will be duped into tipping double. The server was not interactive or friendly, she just did the bare bones basics of serving.

Neat vibe here, with the witchy theme and murals, and the food was really good too! All the servers were friendly and attentive. I appreciated having stuff on the TVs other than standard sports (the one I could see was tuned to Magellan TV). My husband had a burger and I had the Chicken Napolitano sandwich. It was delicious and huge-- I was full after eating only half! Almost everything in the area is witch-themed which I enjoyed, and it was good finding a place that had great service and food, too!

Stopped in for midday drinks and a snack. It was a Tuesday and pretty empty so we snagged seats at the bar. It was super clean in the, service was prompt and Nicole our server was friendly and made our drinks perfectly! I had a spicy mango margarita. Nachos you can choose to add meat but we opted for no meat. Only negative I can say is the chips were super salty but other than that they were great! If you're in the area and looking for a place to pop in, don't pass up Witchside Tavern!

Had a wonderful time here! First time despite being a local for a few years. We all enjoyed our food and our server was incredible! The drinks were yummy and it was a nice vibe for this snowy Saturday.

We loved having lunch here on a busy day in Salem. It was about an hour wait but totally worth it. Service was really fast. Delicious food and great atmosphere inside and outside!

Super cute restaurant with friendly staff. Our waiter, Jeff, was so attentive and lovely! The nachos were pretty good. Onion rings were super yummy, along with the coconut shrimp.

The menu doesn't look particularly amazing, standard-ish pub fare (steak tips, fish&chips, mac&cheese) but they do them EXTREMELY well. The tips were tender and flavorful, the sneaky star of the entree was the salad with feta though. I'm pretty sure the feta was marinated in whatever outstanding salad dressing they use. The havarti grilled cheese with avocado, garlic aioli and fried egg...C'mon. You have to spend the extra $2 for the bacon jam, you will not regret it. I'm sure we've all seen truffle fries right? Some bullshit frozen garbage either drowned in cheap truffle oil, or "dusted" with truffle salt. Well, they don't do that crap here, however they do garlic fries. Hand cut, with whole cloves of roasted garlic all over. Not one or two cloves, like several heads worth of glorious, slow-roasted garlic. I managed to scrounge a couple spoonfuls of the kids mac&cheese from my son, almost lost a finger in the attempt and I found out why. They put just as much effort into the kids food as the adults. If you need a break from your witchy business in Salem, definitely stop in here.

The clam was minced so finely that it was hard to discern that there was any in the bowl. Very filling and tasty just the same. Staff were very attentive and friendly. No worries, the dude will lecture your elderly parents his unsolicited opinions on how the soup will spill everywhere, so you shouldn't do it. Funny enough, the same dude spilled the soup all over the place when he was bringing them to us. Aside from the rude dude, prices are insane. We are not even in peak season, so they are serving the locals but their prices have a 50% or so markup from industry average. ($40 for a small and $60 for a large lobster roll). They have an automatic 20% gratuity on parties of 3 or more, so they get rewarded on their bad service no matter what. I highly recommend avoiding this dump.

We started with the charred broccoli mac & cheese, which arrived piping hot and baked to perfection. Every bite was rich, creamy, and delicious. Honestly, it's up there with the best mac & cheeses I've ever had. For entrées, we shared the shepherds pie and the steak tips. The shepherds pie, made with a hearty mix of lamb, beef, peas, carrots, house mashed, and cheddar cheese, was fresh and perfectly balanced. The steak tips were cooked to our liking, tender, and seasoned beautifully. Both dishes were comforting and satisfying. Olde Main Street Pub delivered exactly what we were hoping for: great food, genuine service, and a cozy atmosphere. I would definitely come back the next time I'm in Salem.

(They clearly saw me there; we made eye contact and the one guy wasn't even doing anything.) After about 10 to 15 minutes of waiting with no service, we were about to leave when a server finally came to our table. Since they were obviously busy and weren't keeping up with the crowd that night, we tried to order two drinks each so they could save a little of their time and we could relax without worrying about if a server was going to take our order again before the end of the week. The server very sharply said that he was NOT going to give us two drinks at a time, CERTAINLY not with drinks of this high alcohol content. We ordered one drink each, cashed out and bounced. The cocktail I got was fine; I could make a slightly worse version at home at a fraction of the price (or even two at once!). We we were told later by a friendlier Salemite at a bar with a better vibe that there is a Massachusetts state law that prohibits having two drinks at once at a bar. Fair enough. Had our server told us that, unfortunately, he wasn't allowed to give us two drinks at once -- instead of making us feel like idiots/degenerates for daring to ask -- we probably would have dropped a lot of vacation money there that night. Oh well; we had a great time at the other places we went.
