My daughter can sniff out a toy store a mile away!…read more She practically dragged me into BrainyZoo Toys while visiting old Folsom over the weekend. The inside is filled with different toys, but still well organized. There were squishes, slime, coloring books, coloring markers, stuffed animals, stickers, DIY kits, Calico Critters, sensory toys and even mystery boxes. We spent a good amount of time mulling over the squishy section before my daughter finally made a selection. Overall, the service was very friendly when we got up to the counter (she was very patient helping another young customer in front of us as well) to pay and the price of the squishy was the going rate. I'm sure we'll be back next time we're visiting old Folsom! Check them out!

We visited Learning Express today for their Pokemon trading event advertised on Facebook. Imagine two seven-year old faces lighting up because toy stores with shelves and shelves of toys are few and far between. With their binders in tow, they explored the shop like it was a candy store while the smiling employees set up for the event. Did you know they do game demos in store!? Who needs a big box store!? Thank you for bringing my son and his friend joy one more time in 2024! Bring on 2025!

She loves stickers and coloring books and we found a 2-in-1, Pipsticks Color Your Own Stickers Book! And had to get the hilarious word game I loved since I was child, Mad Libs! As a family we pencil them in almost daily! Not to mention they're educational, they have helped both our 6 year old and the twins I nanny better understand their nouns, adverbs, adjectives and verbs! I picked out Dance Mania Mad Libs, since she loves to dance! I would HIGHLY recommend stopping into America's biggest toy store franchise! They have it all from our daughter's current obsession "aka" Squishmallows, fun tabletop games, cool coloring books, kids jewelry, puzzles, baby toys, crafts and even free gift wrapping just in time for the holiday season! I also couldn't help but notice that they had a birthday box registry, what a creative idea for those who are unsure of what to get the birthday boy or girl! If you're looking for the hottest toys with great prices and the sweetest staff, check out this amazing local toy store! We're looking forward to returning! They are a specialty store catering to mostly educators, mostly preschool to elementary school aged kids. My wife was able to find what she needed. They had lots of items on sale for back to school. Also a great place to pick up educational tools for projects and general home education items for your kids.

Today was my first time and here, and no store (or anything, for that matter) has ever made me miss…read morethe 90s more than the time I spent in here. Everyplace I walked, there was a blend of past and present. PlayStation 4 & 5 games, alongside rows of nostalgia that ranged in clothes, toys, accessories, movies, you name it. This store embodies 90s pop culture, and not the hip hop side, but more the alternative (which is what I felt more represented me). I found a dvd I've been looking for months, in just a matter of minutes. The movies are all alphabetized, yo! It's like a thrift store, but so much more. If you were a child of the 80s that lived through the 90s, you will probably appreciate this place . My dvd was only $1.99!

I really liked that the Folsom location had a way bigger selection of Funko Pops than the Arden location. There is so much stuff to look through in general at this location, since it's roomier. I specifically scoured the shelves for some Funko Pops to take home, and came across the cutest Jurassic World one (shown below) that I just needed to buy. I also discovered a beautiful Elvis Funko, but that one I decided to hold off on for now. My husband bought a Mewtwo Funko as well (not shown). Most of the Funkos were in really good condition. There was a Stranger Things Funko that I really wanted but alas the previous owner had damaged the box. From a collector's standpoint, the prices are fair. Of course this location had other collectibles and items for sale, such as clothes, records, and whatnot. I've got plenty of records at home and only want to purchase very specific records these days, so I didn't really bother to look in their record aisles. The staff were friendly and chill. I will definitely return to check for more Funko Pops in the near future!

In regards to the Labubu they sell a good amount of clothes and accessories so if that's your thing then this is your place. Additionally they had board games, rc cars, and various other fun toys.
