We went to the bakery area, the cakes were there but not ones we wanted. So we left. Again. Not saying Whole Foods isn't a great place. It's just getting parked is the battle which I try not to have to deal with as much as possible. I would rather travel to other Whole Foods to not have to deal with this specific parking lot. Defensiveness and no offer of a reasonable solution...had to "match" the price to another item of the same value. Ridiculous. Honestly, I thought I was in Farmer Joe's for a minute! Finally, that bulk "large flake" yeast can be sketchy looking. Strange dark blotches of who-knows-what mixed in. This I did not take back...I just threw it out. This is the Vitality Bowls location in Newark…read more I was in the area, and decided to drop by and try their acai bowls. I had the small Vitality bowl, and it was decent in mix and balance. However, for $12.99 it's pricey for it's small size. It's okay, but I wouldn't order it again. I had just eaten lunch, and I wasn't interested in a larger size bowl. I also tried the Coffee Crunch Smoothie. It was.....not good. I wasn't expecting a cold coffee drink that leaves sand or grit in your mouth. I guess that's the "crunch" part of the drink. So, I'll know better for next time I'm in the area. The interior was a bit dusty. Lots of tables and places to sit. Plenty of parking. Vitality Bowls is on the end of a small plaza, near the Chevron gas station and the Goodyear Tire Shop. Staff was nice and answered all my questions.
