While JJ wasn't the lowest, they were the most comprehensive. For example, all of the other quotes quoted the shingles and work, but JJ Construction quoted shingles, tiles, gutters, and all hardware (new fans/vents/gutters). They are highly skilled. They did not rush the project (who wants a roofer who rushes?) and cleaned up every day. Communication was excellent. They installed Class 4 shingles, which lowered my home owners insurance by 20%. What a night and day experience. I reached out on 4/20/2026 for an estimate - no measurements were needed since they were done in 2024 - we had recently had a storm so wanted to have insurance check for damage so we had the adjuster come out all of that was completed by 4/21/2026. I needed the siding done by 6/13/2026 which I was told by two different employees that would not be a problem. Getting any information from Harold was a nightmare. Any updates on timeline I had to reach out. When he was coming out to have me sign the paperwork he was an hour and 45 minutes late with no courtesy call until I reached out. That should have been a red flag right there. FINALLY the product was delivered 6/20 (after the promised date) I was told it would be installed that Monday 6/22. The installers came on 6/20 said they would be completing it on Sunday 6/21. I reached out to Harold to make sure they were with his company the response I got was that he was confused but at least it was getting done - still no confirmation on if the installers were with the company. The left over product was left on my grass for a week and a half killing it. I'm still waiting for a response on material credit from 6/26 which I'm not even getting an response when I reach out any longer.
