What a great dentist! My family got cleanings, and it went really well for all! Dr. Valladares gave me 2 fillings, and the procedure was completely without any discomfort at all! My son had a root canal and crown setting, and he has anxiety about dentistry, but came away calling it "not bad," which is as good a review as could be asked for. Plus everyone in the office is bilingual (at least!). Armando at the front desk is super friendly and helpful. The dental assistants were great; everyone was professional and helpful. When I called to say that my son needed a root canal, Armando said "We don't do root canals." and hung up on me. I asked for a copy of my bill, Armando said okay and never sent it. I asked for a copy of my medical records and of course they have not been sent. Had to take my son to a legit place. Don't go here. Don't give them a cent. read more

Hellish experience. X-rays were so painful I was nearly brought to tears. Dentist did not say anything about my teeth to me, just walked away. Worst cleaning of my life; the toothpaste burned and the hygienist only flossed and polished some of my teeth (he didn't floss half of my bottom teeth -- why??). I nearly walked out halfway through. I never love the dentist, but the complimentary floss and toothbrush pull me through -- but this time, they didn't even give me a toothbrush. Will not be back. read more

I will start this review by stating that it is mainly for the gentleman receptionist in front (Armando?) I brought my daughter in for an endo consult, which was pretty quick and painless. I already knew that my daughter needed root canals in her two front teeth but I was told by Wisdom4dental that my insurance required them to take a new set of x-rays along with a consult. Ok fine. Upon checking out of the consult appointment, Armando? presented the financial portion for the procedures required. My insurance covered the root canals at 100% but did not cover the build-ups at 100%, which were $300.00 each. He also told me at that time that my insurance would only cover the build-ups if they were done in the same visit as the crowns. I work for a dentist, so I advised him that I only wanted her to get the root canals done there, as my Dr. would be doing the build-ups and crowns himself. Fast forward to the day of the appointment for the root canals. We got there early, checked in and Armando? asked me how I wanted to pay my $600 co-pay. I again advised him that we only wanted to get the root canals done, and he quite quickly became very argumentative with me. He then tells me that the build-ups have to be at the same time as the root canals. Um hello? They absolutely do not, and I told him so. He then tells me ok, if you don't have the build-ups done today we won't do the root canals. At this point, I am becoming upset, because he is absolutely trying to scam me into paying the $600. He's telling me my daughter will have holes in her teeth, etc. I am very glad that I work for a dentist because I had to break out my dental terminology and tell him that access is made on the lingual side of the tooth and that it would just be temped with cotton and cavit until she got the crowns put on. That shut him up, and he very nastily told me that he would ask the Dr. and see what they say, that the decision would be up to her. So we sit and wait and then someone from the back comes out and calls my daughter in. I wait about 5 mins or so to see if she was going to stay in the back or be sent out. Not seeing my daughter being sent out, I again approached the front desk and asked him what was going on, is she getting the root canals done without build-ups? He just said yes, they are going to do it my way. I feel like they would have taken advantage of someone else, and I'm sure they do all the time. I feel sorry for others who go there without any knowledge of insurance or procedures. Like, yes I get it, you are a Medi-Cal/Denti-Cal office and are for sure getting paid really low fees, but do not insult my intelligence by lying to me. We would never go back to this office, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. read more

When this office opened it was the best dental office I ever been in, in my 47 years of life. Now it seems like all they care about is how they can get the most money out of you and your insurance, and if they can't they don't even return multiple calls for routine care. Super sad!!! read more

Great staff overall, they speak both English & Spanish so it makes it easy to understand the procedures. I took my mother in for a root canal treatment and crown. They offer to use care credit, which allows us to pay 1 full year at no interest for her full treatment. Office was very clean, they do temperature check & oxygen level check with a Covid-19 questionnaire for every patient. I also felt safe bringing my mom in because i noticed they clean and sanitize the rooms very well & of course the staff is covered & protected themselves. Not only was I treated like a patient, but he also referred me to the right people to fix the massacre done in my mouth by Dr. Regina P. Serafica. I find the staff at wisdom 4 dental to be very friendly. The front office staff (Armando) is always welcoming and polite. Wow! I am appalled at this place and their quality of care or lack thereof. First I went to see this dentist for cleaning and a cavity. The cleaning was sub par and they didn't even check my gum spacing nor did they to a tongue check for lesions. Next I go back for my filling on 12/10/18 and it's now the end of January and the pain has never gone away and is getting worse. I went for a second opinion to another doc then called Wisdom for follow up to have the tooth reexamined and dealt with. THEY REFUSED TO SEE ME because I questioned why my tooth still hurt!!!???? Who does this let alone a business??? I was kind and have an honest question as to why the pain is getting worse a over a month later!! DO NOT GO HERE!! I have been in medicine my whole adult life working for hospitals and this is Unacceptable! So now I'm out here to fend for myself with a messed up tooth and the doc won't check their work. Went in for a cleaning and X-rays. I was in and out in 22 minutes. The dentist asked if I had sensitive teeth and I informed her I did....this didn't seem to matter as I was jumping out of the chair during the cleaning. Her reply to my pain wasn't to be more gentle but was "I have to get this plaque off." The technician was finished cleaning my teeth basically bugged over them in a matter of seconds. This was absolutely not a throughly done cleaning or exam. I won't be going back as I cringe even thinking how they would be for a filling! read more

Had a referral to get my daughters wisdom teeth out. But the referral was for Novato. I saw this establishment next to where I go shopping and stopped in to see if they could perform the extraction. I took the referral into them on a Wednesday, they said they would call me Thursday or Friday. I stopped in on Friday because I was going shopping anyway. I spoke to the Dentist directly, he scrambled to find the information I dropped off on Wednesday and asked me to give my phone number and someone would call me by Monday. Today is Wednesday and when I called the office the girl still had no clue of what I was talking about. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE, they give you the runaround as mentioned in the other reviews. read more

I had a wonderful experience at Wisdom 4 Dental. I am new-ish to this area and just got a new insurance. I initially tried my hand at Stony Point Dental and got a cleaning and assessment. They overshot the number of cavities and drastically overshot the amount of money I'd have to pay out of pocket. It seemed to me that they were making a money play on me. Well, needless to say, I searched for a second opinion. That's how I found Dr. Valladares and Wisdom 4 Dental. They said that I had less cavities than Stony Point had claimed and they were going to charge me only 15% of the out of pocket amount that I was quoted at Stony Point. The service was great, they answered when I called, the people there are soooo nice! I love talking with the dental hygienist, receptionist, and Dr. Valladares. They are very personable, friendly, and interesting. The experience in the chair was more of the same: no pain, Dr. V explained in detail what he would do and was careful to not cause any pain, overall a wonderful experience! I even had a billing discrepancy when I was there as my insurance (typical of insurance...) didn't want to pay as much as was initially projected. So Dr. V and staff honored their original quote and had to end up eating some of the money because they value their word and integrity at Wisdom 4 Dental. I would recommend Wisdom 4 Dental for anyone. I had one of my better dental experiences there and the people are awesome. read more

Not professional, not respectful to people that does not speak their language. Claiming to be pediatric specialist but she kicked my son out of office and refuse to talk to us about why she did and stormed out of office super angry and looked like criminal that want to tear my son into pieces because he got scared from the drill she is using. Called in for over 10 days left many messages and finally called us back claiming they were closed for over a week even though I passed by their place and they were opened. Furthermore they screwed up my wife teeth and she been and still in pain refusing to call us back so we had to go to ER for infection after they did the work. read more

I had an amazing visit to their office yesterday ( witch I rarely say about Doctors of any kind) The staff was friendly and helpful... I could go on and on. And after my visit instead on letting me wait outside for my ride the beautiful receptionist invited me inside for a warm cup of coffee and was very sweet and understanding. This is one of the best experiences ever I got visiting a dental clinic. As soon as I came into the clinic the AC feeling was great, soft ambiance music, interesting magazines and tv with soft volume while I fill out my paperwork created a feel of relaxing atmosphere. The concierge was very kind and efficient. Dr Eliseo Valladares was an expert working a deep cleaning in my teeth. He explained in detail what my problems are using a super modern screen where I could see what my affections are and how they can be addressed. I did not feel any pain while he was executing the cleaning procedures and really cool music could be heard in the background. I definitely give this clinic 5 stars and I recommend it to everybody. I have had the worst experience with this dental office. My grandmother had to wait over six months for a pair of dentures. She still can't chew. She still suffers with pain from the dentures they recently made her...and the problem is STILL not resolved. Whenever I call to follow up I am dealing with a confrontational, condescending, rude, LYING ("Oh, we sent out the mold and the other office lost it...bla bla bla") receptionist. I had a great experience yesterday at this office! I was welcomed by a very friendly girl at the front desk named Monica. She was helpful and very courteous and made me feel instantly at ease. I'm scared of the dentist and this dental office was a perfect fit. It was clean and did not smell like your typical dental office. Dr. Eliseo was so gentle and kind and explained everything as he went, constantly checking in with me knowing I was nervous. Scam. I went in for my first visit because my regular dentist was on vacation and I had part of a filling come out. This office will say that they accept your insurance but then before doing any work, they will require a deep cleaning $560 dollars, not covered by insurance before doing a simple filling! Requiring unnecessary expensive treatment BEFORE doing a simple filling in a FRONT tooth seems very untrustworthy to me. MORE INTERESTED IN THE CASH THAN YOUR DENTAL HEALTH. read more

I just had a tooth extraction done here and I was so happy with the whole experience! I was terrified to have this extraction done, but before I knew it it was over! Dr. Valladares and his staff were great! I never got my wisdom teeth removed, I just turned 30. They were causing me so much pain and even extracting them while they were super sore was not bad at all.... I am honestly amazed! Thank you!!! I will absolutely be going back here for any dental work. Super friendly, they keep the humor goin, every other dentist I have been to has made me feel akward or even judgmental at one point or another and I never felt that way here. This was the worst dental/medical experience I have ever had in 24 years of life. I recently got new dental insurance and looked up dentists nearby, for a simple cleaning. I chose this place because it was near work. I called a few times and it was difficult to get ahold of anyone. Finally, a man picked up and said he would call me back in a week to make an appointment. He did, and I went in for my appointment. The cleaning went fine, even though the dentist tried to sell me on more dental procedures. A few weeks later I decided to make an appointment to get a small chip on a front tooth fixed. I called many times, left messages, and didn't hear back. Someone finally answered and said they had tried to call but had the wrong number (Weird, because I gave it to them when I filled out initial paperwork and in phone messages.) I got the tooth fixed and they wanted me to pay for the service in the office. I explained that it had to be a bill mailed to my house. They seemed very confused by this simple request. Then, their "fix" chipped off within a week! As you can guess, it was very hard to get ahold of them to fix it for the second time. They fixed it a second time and it chipped off AGAIN in a few weeks!!!! I had to threaten to call the BBB in order for this business to see me to fix my tooth for the third time. When I got to my appointment, I had to wait for over 30 minutes and one of the employees had a toddler who was disruptive, yelling and running around the office the whole time. The dentist had to fix the chip TWICE in this visit because she chose the wrong color the first time and the filling was very rough to the touch. I had to ask her to smooth it out four times before finally leaving. She didn't even have a portable mirror to show me my tooth. Please don't ever go here. read more
