I have been traveling from Alaska to New York for 8 years. After very long flights, it is good to have WiroLimo waiting for the trip into the city. They are always there for me with immaculate cars and very nice, very professional drivers. Wiro Limo saved me when I was stuck at La Guardia Airport after my plane was delayed from landing for 4 hours. I called Wiro Limo and they were able to come pick me up. I was so grateful. I also had a planned appointment a week later for pickup to JFK. The day before I received a text message confirming my appointment for the following morning. Not only did they arrive before my scheduled pickup time, they alerted me via text message that they were outside and I could come out when I was ready. William is a dream come true! I called him the night before I left for NYC, and arrived at JFK after a bumpy red eye flight. He texted me as soon as I landed, and waited patiently while I waited for my luggage to finally arrive. He greeted me with a smile, a chilled bottle of water, a pack of gum and a newspaper. He is friendly, courteous, safe and responsive. I am not usually a chatty person at 7 in the morning, but I talked with William all the way into the city. I immediately booked him for my flight back home, and he fit me into his busy schedule. My husband and I booked WiroLimo Inc based on the reviews on Yelp and I am happy to report that they were totally on the money. We had sent the initial email just asking various questions about their service and within 15 minutes we had a response. Mind you this was at 1 am west coast time! Just like others have stated, we received a text message from William letting us know that our driver was already waiting for us. Henry (driver) was extremely friendly and right away just told us to go take a seat in the car and he would take care of our bags. The car was nice and cool, as it was rather warm out, and he had 2 cold bottles of water waiting for us (no charge!). As we drove from JFK into our hotel in Tribeca, he pointed out various points of interest and asked how our flight was. Safe driver and got us into the city pretty past. Pick up was the same, William himself was the driver this time. He was just as friendly as Henry was, and asked how our vacation went. Well, another trip with WiroLimo (Aug/03/2010) but not with William...so sad. Henry picked us up at the appointed time in a Town Car that really had seen its better day. Henry was friendly enough and was patient as we entered the que for the Lincoln tunnel from EWR. Once into manhattan Henry was definitely aggressive in his driving - give me safe before quick! I needed to get from my hotel to our new home in Hoboken and had too much stuff to just take the train. After seeing the reviews on Yelp, I gave Wiro Limo a call. William was very professional and set up a driver for me. A sedan was to pick me up but I ended up getting a large SUV, which turned out great since I had more luggage than I originally anticipated. The driver was very courteous and helpful. I can't say it was cheap to go from Manhattan to Hoboken but the peace of mind was worth it. read more

We just returned from NYC yesterday (5/4/11) where my husband, his sister and I took a combination pleasure/business trip. We did our due diligence prior to our trip to find out the best way for us to get us from JFK to Midtown Manhattan. Yelp was very helpful in this endeavor. Based on reviews we read on Yelp, we decided to use Wirolimo. Their services did not disappoint us. First, our flight out of RDU was delayed by almost 45 minutes. I was concerned about making sure Wirolimo knew so they wouldn't be sitting at JFK waiting for our delayed flight. I called William to tell him know and he informed me that since he had our flight info (info requested when you book), Wirolimo would monitor our flight prior to sending someone to the airport. I called after we landed and finally made it to baggage claim (quite a hike from some gates at JFK!). I was told a driver was at the airport. Because we were newbies to the services of Wirolimo, we were nervous about exactly were our ride would be. My husband spoke with our driver, Henry, and he explained he would be in the third lane with our name held up in the window. We weren't outside more than 2-3 minutes and an extremely comfortable, nice and clean SUV rolled up with my first name held up to the passenger window. Henry jumped out of the vehicle and helped load our luggage. He knew exactly where we were headed (again, info you provide upon booking). Henry was an AWESOME driver!! The careful way he maneuvered the traffic in NYC was unbelievable!! He was very friendly and chatted with us during our ride. Wirolimo quoted us a rate of $65 plus tolls and tip or $78 including tolls and tip. We chose the latter. We were so pleased, we booked them for our return trip back to JFK upon our departure. The driver on our return trip to JFK, Philip, was just as friendly and good driver as Henry was! The vehicle was as comfortable, nice and clean as the first one. The three of us were in complete agreement that we would use Wirolimo as a car service when we have a return trip to NYC. Bottom line -- Wirolimo lived up to its high rating here on Yelp!! read more

My college-age son and I took a Spring Break trip to NYC. It's been many years since I've been to NYC and I was a little nervous about navigating the city. I decided to splurge on WiroLimo from LaGuardia to my mid-town hotel because of the excellent reviews on Yelp and because the transportation I usually take in an airport - shuttles - seemed to get remarkably bad ratings in NYC. Communicating by email with WiroLimo's William was fast and easy at all hours (does the man ever sleep?). When we arrived at the airport, we went to the transportation lanes and, within minutes, our driver pulled through and picked us up, with our luggage, in a comfy SUV. He was a well-dressed, well-spoken man in his 30's. Quite nice. He was a good driver who was confident in NYC traffic. He knew his way around and even told us about parts of the city as we drove. The reservation system is a bit weird, but my driver arrived early and got me to the airport quickly and safely in a nice, clean, comfortable car with plenty of room for my luggage. Driver was stoic but not unkind. Very nice, all in all. It's not cheap, but I've had too many cabs try to drive off with my luggage in the trunk and me on the curb. Used Wiro to go from Midtown to LGA at 3PM on a Friday to get out of town for the weekend. Booked the day before & arranged to have the driver meet me in front of a building where I had a client meeting. Walked out onto busy Broadway right at like 2:55, worried that he'd be tough to find as there was traffiic & crowds everywhere, and there he was, parked right in front of the building in his Escalade. Have no idea how he ever got that spot. Made it to LGA in, I swear, less than 20 minutes. Not a real chatty driver, which is nice, just very professional, quick but not dangerously fast, and very comfortable ride in a clean, late model luxury car. Think the fare was $60. No nonsense about tolls and absolutely no pressure about the tip. He chose an efficient route, was very courteous, and made our trip with him a pleasure. I originally booked with Carmel service because it was cheap. I was disappointed, as the driver couldn't speak English and I was picked up in a pretty beat mini van. My sister recommended this service to me, it was double the price but way worth it. My driver Luis, was incredibly nice and was able to tell me all about NY back to the airport. Worst service I have ever had in NYC. Driver was supposed to meet me inside. He did not. I had to call the company and ask where he was. The reply: he couldn't get in because of construction. Odd because I passed no less than 15 people holding signs for a car service. Then he wouldn't tell me where to meet him and kept getting mad at me because he couldn't find me. Finally got in the car. He had the front windows open. When I asked him to close them so I could hear my conference call and not be whipped in the face by wind he got mad at me. Beware of driver 884445.
