I have used this group in the past, booking with Ana via email. It was easy and professional. The drivers were friendly and competent. I called Sunday morning (4/30) and gave details for one way from Darien to the upper east side. I was quoted $465 and told that someone would get back to be with a better rate. No one got back to me. I called them again (5/1) and their rate was the same $465. In the past, they have taken us from JFK to Darien for half that fee. I wonder what has happened to this company. My fiancé and I came in without an appointment. Chino showed us every car in the lot, letting us sit inside, checking out the special features. He was patient with us, answering all questions. We then sat and went through each car's pricing. We then asked about the tuxedos. There is a full, colorful catalogue that lays out all of the options. The seamstress, Annie was very honest and down to earth. She helped figuring out what might look good together. The tuxedos were priced at $180 each which includes everything. The groom's tux is free with the package. Discount posted if we go with the limousines there. We do know of a place that is cheaper and plan on coming back to possibly haggle. They seem professional and reasonable. They also offer many options and have been there for many years! My fiancé remembers seeing them there when he was in high school. I'll be doing more research but have a feeling that I'll be back to do business with them. read more

This company excelled my expectations as far as the limo that I had originally requested, the courtesy of the driver and how reliable and ON TIME he was. Adam is awesome as far as communication and meeting my needs. Richard was the driver and he is very professional and down to earth. The clothes are yellow, the Tuxedos are outdated, the sizes - lets just say the motto there is "Small, Medium, Large" - or One size fits all. Do Not Purchase Boys Suits Here! Came there three times & they carelessly screwed up all the chances they had ... we had decided we'll just rent one suit for the looks of the jacket, but suddenly another problem... since the initial order was for 3 suits they couldn't give us just that one! (Did they honestly think we were that desperate to get all three because the event was on Sunday & it was already Friday?) - ...we couldn't shop till Saturday evening & anyway all tuxedo orders ship during business days.... we purchased 1 men's suit at Alain De'lone - very professional...& brand new boys suits & ties at J & Z couture on Main Street - ready on the day of the party. Horrible! Manager Gil was so incredibly rude. They care only about making money. Very polite and welcoming when they are trying to make a sale (come anytime, I'm always available), but after you sign the contract you're merely an annoyance to them. I'm not sure if this place is real or not in the sense that I've called two completely different numbers two different companies spoke to two different people on two different days and was asked to go to the same parking lot and was shown the same exact limos. All their limos have chips and dents and dings everywhere. I ended up going to a much further out in LI company who was able to be straightforward and give me what I wanted, slightly more expensive but I didn't feel like I was being scammed. read more

We used them for two events (sweet 16 and HS Prom) and my sister in law used them on our recommendation for one event (sweet 16). All three events were absolutley perfect. The limos were great and the drivers were amazing! Jay was incredible to work with. He was always available for us in answering calls, questions, and emails, etc. Jay and his entire crew of drivers are super professional, organized, and knowledgable of their business. The Reliance NY Group provided me very professional and beyond excellent service during my wedding weekend. Drivers: Well dressed, pleasant, on time. Sunny went out of his way to care for my family's safe transit. He even held my grandma's hand from the house to the car. Our other driver, (I forgot his name..John?) on a return trip extremely polite and helpful. At on point, one of them even rolled out a red carpet for my new bride as she exited - made me look real good! The limos: gorgeous and well kept. They even surprise UPGRADED me on one of my limos and my family was feeling the high end luxury. Everything was well ahead of time and I appreciate you guys adjusting to last minute changes along will delivering back a lost phone! Overall what really matters: 1. On time: Driver's were always at least 30mins before time and texted upon arrival. 2. Vehicle: Super clean inside and out; Large and spacious; 3. Drivers: Very friendly, clean cut, so polite almost felt like family. 4. Management: I worked with Gee and then Adam as well - both responded to their phones immediately. This is a long overdue review. Rented my tuxes, limos and party buses from them for my wedding. My wife and I couldn't be happier with the service we received. We had a change in the tux one week before the wedding and they were able to accommodate us. The pricing for the transportation blew everyone else out of the picture. So good that I recommended them to multiple people and they all came back and thanked me for their info. It looks like the changed location since my wedding, but the service is what matters and they were great. We had issues with other vendors at our wedding, but reliance did not let us down. TUXEDO RENTALS! If you're a bride, don't do it! The stress and aggravation is insane! The only reason why I'm giving them one star is because I can't give less. Here's the deal, I'm getting married in November. The woman who works there has no idea what she is doing. Because if she did I would have gotten a phone call back from her in regards to suits that my groomsmen would be renting. I took my groomsmen to this location over a month ago. I called this location numerous times to which I only received one phone call from them. The first time I called was 5 days after bringing my groomsmen there to ensure their incompetent employee order the suits for a fitting. Strike One! Reliance it is not my responsibility as a paying customer to be in contact with you. The employee was suppose to call me back however she never did. CHECK THE CALL LOGS! So I called to speak to someone in regards to lack of communication. Luckily my grooms/groomsmen was with another wedding party to which the employee discussed the whole situation, she also told my groom that she is refusing to do business with us. FOR WHAT? BECAUSE I COMPLAINED? YOU'VE GOT TO ME KIDDING ME! GROW A BACKBONE, IT'S CALLED HARSH CRITICISM! Strike TWO! NOW I'M MORE THAN PISSED! Poor customer service when you discuss one client with another. I have called over and over to only get the run around. THIS WAS THE MOST HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE EVER! All of my other vendors are so on top of things, and then these people can't even return a phone call. When I called to follow up (maybe the 13th time) someone answered the phone spoke to me and assured me the owner would get back to me that day. WOW! This was the first phone call I received out of 13! All I needed to know was if you were doing business with me or not. SAFE TO SAY The owner told me he would have Annie (employee) follow up with me... AND .... GUESS WHAT? NO DAMN PHONECALL ! So after speaking to my wedding planner in regards to this... I'm taking my business elsewhere. I rather spend my money elsewhere for proper customer service. read more

I was sort of skeptical about Reliance. They are a one stop shop for anything and everything. However, we decided to book them for our limo and car for our wedding. We got married July 19, 2014 and booked the landrover limo and the rolls royce phantom which was then upgraded to the ghost at no extra cost. I don't know much about cars but all I know is that the rolls royce was amazing and our bridal party was amazed by the limo. One thing I didn't expect was for the drivers to be so helpful. My driver calmed me and my mom down as we drove to the church. At the church him and the other driver pulled the aisle runner and made sure I was okay the entire time. After the ceremony, my driver walked behind me to make sure my dress wasn't getting dirty and that my husband and I were happy. He even made a pit stop on our way to the reception because my head was hurting a little and bought me some advil. That kind of attention is all you want for the day of your wedding. He wanted us to be happy and we truly were. We came into our venue's parking lot with music bumping and made an amazing entrance. It was really fun! I will never do business at this store again!! My son rented a tuxedo for his prom this June. Due to unfortunate circumstances, we needed to cancel the tuxedo order 2-3 weeks later. We received a full refund in the form of a store credit, and was told it was NOT a problem. We had one year to use the store credit of $146.00 and it could be used for another person if so desired. My son found a friend who had not rented a tux yet, so they went into the store. The owner then told my son that the vest from his order had already been received at the store, and that he would have to deduct $45.00 from the store credit!! The second young man found a suit to rent for $110.00. The owner took advantage of these two young boys, and demanded the extra $10.00. He was willing to loose a sale over a $10.00 difference which we were entitled to on the receipt!!. He never bothered to call us to tell us of this problem with our receipt. Even if this were true, in a business, you win some and loose some. He should have sucked it up as a business loss and not treat the customer so poorly. All of this was over $10.00. I shake my head NO, and give this store a poor business rating. read more
