During the conversation, he also provided helpful and professional advice regarding my other tech-related concerns. Overall, I felt that he genuinely cares about both the service he provides and the people he helps. Because of this follow-up and support, I am revising my overall experience to a 4-star review. I also hope the company's culture continues to reflect this level of care and professionalism and continues to support both customers and staff. --------------------------------------- Previous review -I brought my MSI laptop to this shop for a lid repair. At the time, there was a small crack on the left side near the hinge, and I was worried it might get worse , but the screen bezel was intact. I was initially told that once the part arrived, they would notify me to bring in the laptop, and the repair would then take about a full day. The part arrived on December 30, 2025, I dropped off the laptop on January 6, and picked it up on January 9. -After I got home, I turned on the webcam to prepare for a meeting, and noticed that the screen displayed a blue image. I contacted the shop immediately. I was asked to bring the laptop back for further inspection, but no explanation was provided regarding the possible cause of the issue. -Since the shop is about an hour away, I asked whether a remote diagnosis could be done first to better understand the situation. I was informed that there would be a charge for that service. At the same time, I looked into common causes of this issue and found that it can result from a protective film not being removed during repair. However, this possibility was not discussed. -If a likely cause had been communicated, it would have helped me better understand whether an immediate return visit was necessary. Without that information, the situation was unclear and required additional time and travel to resolve. -More recently, about four months after the repair, I noticed that the bezel near the hinge has cracked, even though I have been handling the laptop carefully. This area was not damaged prior to the repair. Given that the hinge area is a high-stress point, I am concerned that the repair or reassembly may have contributed to this issue. Overall, my experience was disappointing. While the initial interaction felt welcoming, it was followed by a noticeably self-protective approach when issues arose. Although the repair was completed, I encountered additional problems afterward that required significant time and effort to resolve. Based on this experience, I strongly recommend that others ask detailed questions about the repair process, confirm what testing will be performed, and ensure the device is thoroughly checked at the shop before taking it home. In general, I believe that clear communication and transparency are important in building trust with customers over the long term.

I was NOT backed up…read more After racing to the Apple store to see if it could be saved, the tech told me the hard drive had to be restored, which meant wiping out my hard drive and all of my years and years of files saved on it, and nowhere else... He also told me he had no way of pulling up my files as the disk was badly damaged. I went home and happened to find Romano Multiservices on a Google search and figured they could be my only hope. When I walked in, I was greeted by, whom I believe is the owner, Cristian. He advised me of the cost ($200), which I thought was way more reasonable and also said payment would not be due unless he could recover the data, and if he couldn't, there would only be a diagnostic fee of $32.50. I readily left the laptop with him and prayed. On the 6th day of Cristian working on my computer, I checked in and he successfully recovered the data!!! I was in SHOCK... I went in and paid the $200 plus tipped him an extra 20. He even held the data on an external hard drive so I could have my laptop restored at the Apple store, then brought it back to him and he did the work of transferring the backup back onto my laptop FREE of charge. You can NOT go wrong with this business. I STRONGLY recommend this business and highly recommend working with Cristian.

In the beginning when we first started using their services our team had a lot of questions. Everything was knew and many of us were not tech savvy in the slightest. We had an IT tech on site almost an entire day making sure everything was running smooth and explaining step by step what was going on and how to handle it. They would not leave the premises except possibly once just to get some food or coffee. A few of the techs at one point or another provided their personal numbers in case of emergencies. Emergencies did happen and even on their day off they have answered. This was before my team became knowledgeable and comfortable on the protocol on who to reach out to depending on situation. The point is they went above and beyond any customer service you can ever receive. Now about 3 years later and they are still just as dedicated. My business is in Times Square in NYC. It is imperative to have everything up and running ASAP in such an active area. This team has jumped on a train from New Jersey and showed up in every possible emergency. Regardless of weather, holidays, weekends, days or nights they have been there. Not only have they shown up no matter the circumstances but they have done so with a smile on their face. It's such a pain free experience as it can be with some companies when trying to get customer assistance in any area of business. I had a very disappointing experience with iFix NY Midtown regarding my ROG Ally X repair…read more Last Tuesday, they texted me saying they had diagnosed an issue with the left analog stick controller board assembly, which was affecting input and control response. They said the repair would include replacing the left analog stick controller board assembly to restore functionality. The quoted cost was $230 + tax, with an estimated turnaround time of 2-5 business days. After that, I had to call almost every day just to get updates. Then today, I received a different message saying they had received replacement parts, but not the full set. They said they could replace the damaged analog sticks themselves, but were still waiting for the round LED light rings around the sticks. They also said they could return the device with the controllers functional, but the left stick would have no LED light ring. That was concerning because the original diagnosis and quote were for the left analog stick controller board assembly, but the later message described replacing the analog sticks themselves and leaving the LED ring unfinished. For $230 + tax, I do not think a partial or incomplete repair is acceptable. When I went to pick up the device, I had already called and was told it was ready. But when I arrived, I still had to wait around 30 minutes while they reassembled it. That is not "ready for pickup." To be fair, the owner was there and was kind, apologetic, and professional. My issue was not with him. My issue was with the repair technician handling my device. His attitude was horrendous, and the interaction felt careless and unprofessional. The worst part is that after testing my ROG Ally X in-store, the left trigger felt worse than before, and the light around the stick was no longer working. I brought the device in for a specific repair, and I left feeling like it had been returned with new problems. As someone who runs a tech company and understands customer service, I was shocked by how poorly the repair side of this was handled. I had other products I was considering bringing to them, but after this experience, I will not be returning. A kind owner cannot make up for a disorganized, incomplete, and careless repair process.
