Yelp has deleted my last 5 reviews of this place. Due to my perseverance and persistence I will not stop posting my opinion. This Winning "shop" is horrible. I mean absolutely horrible. Basically I have been training martial arts since I was a child. I have been training everyday however for the past 12 years (after high school sports ended I dedicated my time to training MMA and muay Thai) and have fought in a few smokers at local gyms. I am not a professional but love training seriously because I had a rough childhood and training gives me an escape. I showed up here for some new headgear and possibly some gloves. I followed the directions another poster gave on Yelp which was very helpful actually thank you to those people. This shop has no signage outside and once you get inside there are a lot of small office businesses and you can be looming for this place for a while if you didn't know it's on the 3rd floor. Kazimuchi does NOT answer his phone and probably does not know how to use it to his age and unwillingness to learn. Listen, no disrespect but as a business owner once times change, you also SHOULD ADAPT and better yourself. As a business owner you should have the knowledge to answer phone calls for your customers. I mean do you hate money buddy? Everyone should know that Winning Gear is awesome and the downside is that the gear is extremely expensive. Winning Gear should not be recommended for first time people training i.e. unless you are Bieber, you should not buy a Bentley as your first vehicle. Make sense? This shop is on the third floor and I put shop in quotation marks because the place does not look like a retail store. I went in not knowing I needed an appointment and kaz has VERY broken english. It should be noted my parents growing up also spoke like this guy so I am VERY respectful. My opinion is if you live in the U.S AND especially when you own a business, you should be required to speak english. Kaz was completely ignoring me perhaps due to him visibly showing early signs of mental disease. Again, this is not meant to disrespect him rather to depict to readers what the situation entailed and what the scenario was like. He was rambling and muttering words that did not make sense. He had beer bottles on the ground near the entrance to his shop and he was in the back of the shop where the gear is located talking to 2 latinos that looked like unemployed (In my professional experience, I work in law enforcement and see latinos like this often) fan boys. I also love to talk about MMA, muay Thai, bjj, and boxing. However, I also work a very busy job with a busy schedule. I was trying to buy some gear from this store and leave as I do not have all day to sit there and talk with these 2 fanboys for god's sake. Again, I love discussing combat soorts as much as Max Kellerman but only with people educated about the sports not some random guys I do not though. This guy kaz has horrible customer service and was talking about how people should not buy Winning Gear. He went on to say GGG and Canelo etc etc should not buy Winning Gear. It was very strange. In addition, he had these 2 fanboys there just standing there listening to my conversation with him. It was a horrible experience. This place is also hidden in location and I mean that because there is no sign outside. It's on the 3rd floor if you still want to go. He has a lot of memorabilia in the shop but again even though I love the sport, I am 31 years old and don't have time to chit chat like a fanboy with a complete stranger. I would advise you to stay away from this shop as this guy does not deserve hundreds or even thousands of dollars of your hard earned money. Amazon sells Winning Gear that can be shipped to you. The only downside is you can't try on the equipment from Amazon. Just measure and order the right size. I will never give kaz any of my money due to lack of customer service. Clearly he doesn't need the money. Appears to me from my professional experience this guy is an alcohol abuser (as evidenced by beer bottles on the floor) and or punch drunk from absorbing strikes (he did fight professionally and rambling and muttering incoherently are signs of dementia as well as being under the influence). I will order from Amazon or another store but never from this location as long as Kaz is the owner. Just my personal opinion and everyone is entitled to their own opinion as that is what makes United States a great count read more
