Also, we were aiming for plants that were cat safe and some signs did indicate that they were pet safe so that's a plus and glad that the staff included that information The pricing of the plants is a hit or miss though. Some were reasonably price and some were just a tad too expensive. Not too much though. Inside doesn't have much AC so we had to shop quickly since it was 100 degrees out. The repair cost was very reasonable and service is consistently great.

Homestead Gardens was a pretty large nursery in a small rural area. I came here because there was…read morean orchid festival that brought me here. The store itself had a wide selection, far bigger than the garden area of Home Depot or Lowes. Despite the orchid festival being present, the nursery still had many of their own orchids on sale. I wouldn't say any of them are that rare by any means, but the selection and display was pretty reasonable. The festival happened in the back area of the nursery under a few tents. There was a lot to choose from, so it's a nice event to attend if you're around the area when it happens. There were also a lot of non-orchid items, like pots, soil, and any other gardening items you may needs. Overall, it's a cool nursery to come to if you're in the area.
