The front of the store - The image shows the front of Ken's Gardens, a garden center, with a vehicle parked in the foreground. The building has a black exterior with a sign displaying the business name. The sky is blue with a few clouds, and there are potted plants and flowers arranged outside the store. The photo appears to be taken from inside a vehicle, as part of the windshield and reflection are visible.

This place is so neat! They have different house plants that other nurseries around does not have! Was able to find the dragon tail I've been searching for! They're prices are reasonable and they have a lot to choose from. Workers are friendly and the store is clean !

The image shows the exterior of Ken's Gardens, a garden center with a wooden facade, a sign displaying the business name, and windows with dark shutters and flower boxes. A black vehicle is parked in front of the building, partially obscuring the view of the storefront. An illuminated 'Open' sign is visible in one window, and the sky appears partly cloudy with some trees in the background.

I'm constantly changing things up in my home. My current phase has a bit of a boho vibe and I've been looking for a very large, 4' high or so, low light houseplant to fill a void in my living room. I've called several local nurseries looking for such. Ken's was one of those places and the only one that confirmed they have exactly what I'm looking for, going so far as to put me on hold so she could confirm low light and the price. Since they close at 5pm on Saturday and it was already past 2pm I decided to make the 14 mile one way trip in hopes of getting exactly what I wanted. When I arrived I was impressed as this garden center really has some cute and thought out features. To my surprise they hold an ongoing inside yard sale in Jan/Feb (with belongings from employees and their relatives) in an empty greenhouse. It had some pretty good stuff too! Moving on I checked out all the departments before seeking the houseplant I was there for. They have some macrame pieces that caught my eye, as well as a potting bar for your succulent purchases. Their air plant display was adorable and I made a mental note of all the things I liked to get at a later date. They also offer various workshops at two locations, offering unique plant related projects. I'm already planning on attending. Prices were fair - not cheap, but not unreasonable. There was alot I liked about this store. Unfortunately the largest houseplant I saw that met my criteria was only about 2 feet tall. When I went to inquire and explained that I called apparently she misunderstood and thought I wanted something "a few feet, meaning two". I was a tad annoyed, especially since I drove 28 miles round trip and left empty handed when I was clear on what I was looking for but felt it wasn't a wasted trip. I'm definitely planning on attending one of their workshops and will be checking them out when the seasons change.

Dipladenia has never been without blooms since I bought it nearly a month ago - A red flower with five broad petals and a yellow-orange center is shown growing in a green ceramic pot filled with soil. The plant has green leaves and is situated on a balcony or outdoor space, with a metal railing and a brick wall visible in the background. The image captures the flower in close-up, highlighting its vivid color and petal structure.

Very helpful staff helped us plan native plants that will absorb a lot of water in a runoff area. Great stock and prices.

Amazing selection of shrubs, trees, houseplants, and the knowledge the staff has is something you won't find at a box store.

Was visiting from Pittsburgh, staying at Reihl's Bed and Breakfast, and one of the ladies (Miriam) said she worked at Ken's.
