I white a review earlier today about this store, for some raison I don't see it, but it was sooo bad service that I take the time it write about it again. What I was disappointed with was the advertisement for some specials on one price and when I went to the store the price was different So I tried to get service , with the circular in my hand,to show somebody , the mistake there, whaa, I went through 3 people before I found one who seem to understand a very low percentage of the English language. I was sent to the front service desk, again, that lady seem. Not too happy I was questioning the different prices from the circular and what the prices was on the merchandise. Never talk or tried to communicated with me, again, I don't thing her communication in English was good , when I tried to make her understand that the price advertise and what they were charging me was wrong. She said nothing ,rolled her eyes, and made me feel that I was a cheap questioning there prices ,on the 4 articles I bought,there was 2 wrong prices,if I would had said nothing I would had pay $7. Worse market ever! For 2 days I've attempted to make a purchase at the Deli. Each day it's been closed and each time I'm given a different schedule. Yesterday, I was told they closed at 6:00 pm. Today....at 5:15 pm no one was servicing the counter. I went to the customer service desk and was told they didn't know to go back to the counter and ask. Ask who????? I asked for the store manager and after the customer service clerk realized I was going anywhere, a Manager appeared from behind a door to inform me that she didn't know what the deli's schedule was. Who the hell in managing this playground???? I used to shop 2 to 3 times week. Looked like my business isn't needed. Very disappointing. read more

They remove bags with lemons, onions, peppers and different product and start sell for $2 single piece, be careful, one small onion will near $1,5, but whole bag 2 pounds will $3. The Winn-Dixie sure does look a bit better since the renovation. There's a department with a beautiful arrangement of flowers near the fruits & produce. Next to the bakery and the deli department, you can purchase freshly made cooked food. Winn-Dixie also has a cheese department across from the meat/seafood department that sells flavorful soft cheeses such as brie, cambozola, goat cheese, mozzarella, gouda, etc. The prices throughout the supermarket are reasonable, and now that the holidays are upon us, there might be even lower prices. read more

This is my super market and is the closest Winn Dixie to my home. Today I went to pickup trays of food I ordered to bring to a friend's house. They even have s great assortment of flowers with new arrangements made up daily and at a great price. This location only gets 4 stars and not 5 because they are the only Winn Dixie that does not carry Michelob Light, my husbands favorite beer. I have asked repeatedly but if I want his beer I have to go to the Taft St. or Dania Beach Blvd. locations. Even when I vacation to n the Keys I can easily get it in any Winn Dixie. Today they finally started carrying my husband's favorite beer for that they get 5 stars. read more

My first visit to a Winn Dixie and I loved it! I was visiting on vacation and needed to buy a few things. I stopped in and bought some Pumpkin Pies. I found the customer service great. I was walking around for awhile and I actually had an employee ask me if I needed help. The store had a wide variety of items to choose from at fairly cheap prices. The aisles were wide and there was lots of space to shop. There weren't a lot of check outs but it didn't seem like they needed many more. As I was leaving I even had a nice worker collecting carts put my cases of water and groceries in my trunk. All the employees were great! read more

Im not a big fan on WD, but they do have decent wings and ribs (ready-to-eat) that my kids like. 10 bucks for a rack of ribs that can feed 3 kids, not bad.. This location is your standard WD. This place is an eye-sore. Dirty, inefficient, and the staff is bored and forever clock-watching. The biggest problem, of many, with this specific dump is the self-checkout machines. They are clunky, poorly-functioning, often-non-functioning or broken, and all around a great big headache. They ALWAYS need an f'in "ATTENDANT" to be called. The scales are too small and don't work right. You can't get a cart full of groceries onto the scale, so that has to be fixed. I try, always in vain, to enter my frequent shopper number, and it says CALL ATTENDANT. I don't. I am completely dissatisfied with this location, from end to end. I really hate the automated check outs that I am forced to use, or else WAIT for the single check out person they have working at any given time to free up. Time to up your game. I rate this Winn Dixie one star solely on the fact that they have a rather vast kosher section. Other than that my experiences at this Winn Dixie have been awful. Let's start with the deli section. With the exception of the gentleman who had on a different shirt, which I'm assuming is the manager for the section, the other employees have absolutely no one idea or anything it is. This is the service industry! You WILL be approached by people! oh yeah, you should know how to speak English also! On a separate occasion I had to visit the dairy department in hopes of finding crème fraîche. When I asked an employee if there was any available, he responded: "what's that! I'm just training here and don't know". Mind you this is Winn-Dixie not a specialty store so I had lowered my hopes/expectations. They do have a nice, separate cheese section but the lady attendant there has absolutely no idea about cheese! Once again, another employee that responds, "I'm in training and don't know". What puts me in awe about this particular Winn-Dixie is that nobody takes the initiative of asking another employee for guidance. In my most recent visit to this location, I paid the customer service desk a visit to return 14 items having overshot my shopping during emergency catering capacities. A store associate by name of Leliv, (her name tag reads "Winn-Dixie employee since 2011"), had a miserable little latitude and took 15 minutes and three store associates to carry out my request. I didn't even receive a receipt for my transaction!! Not a thank you, not to have a good day. This is the last time I visit this location. read more

Being from NJ and now living in Belgium; I'm really not that familar with Winn-Dixie. I did know that it was a grocery store before I went in. It was fantastic too. I loved the deli, the fresh cakes, the wine and beer selection and also the fresh fish that they sold there (although I don't know why they feel the need to import fish from Mexico and El Salvador when there are fish right off the coast of Florida. The store looks great now, after this major renovation. But now the cost of renovation it seems gets transferred to its customers in the form of significantly higher prices for food. Tasteless tomatoes for more than three dollars? Oranges are priced like they had to be imported from Brazil? This is Florida, give me a break! Thanks, I'd rather go to the outdoors market on US1 (in the Mardi Gras casino's parking lot) on Fri,Sat and Sun and buy three baskets of locally grown tomatoes for five bucks. And they all know my name. Those tomatoes taste so much better, and I will be supporting local business. Same goes for other produce. I tell you for a long time now Winn-Dixie has been trying to redo their stores constantly!! When I first stepped into this store after moving here last year I was like "are they trying to be like Milams?" Reminded me of it a little, seriously. Nicer then the Winn-Dixie on the west side of US1. Prices are a little cheaper but still higher then Publix. Their produce for some reason looks a little better then the West side Winn-Dixie. Sometimes I come here let's say if Publix doesn't have what I want. Heck they are literally across the street from each other. Or vise versa. Example for some reason Winn-Dixie's cabbage is better then Publix's. It's a little sweeter in flavor. The cashier (sometimes limited openings) and self-check out lines are crazy slow at times. All in all still not a fan of Winn-Dixie but it serves it purposes if I need something while I'm in the area. read more

As I went to checkout only three lanes were open, one of them express. All were 5 to 6 customers deep and moving slowly. After waiting in the express line for more than five minutes, time enough for my wife to apply for a Winn Dixie rewards card, the clerk turned off his light and announced he that the customer he was dealing with was the last. He told us in line to go over to one of two remaining, full cart lines, each still at least 5 customers long. I put down my basket and walked out. One of the two sisty ugglas, Pubix n this joint. Oh God can't they at least have milk stay fresh until a week before the "go buy" date, NO, disgusting. There is never anybody around to help and no butcher. The toilets are dirty and the produce is dreadful. They do have some rather interesting cheeses, however, and that's why they don't get just one star. Everything else is really outdated and or just about to be thrown out. I prefer the selection and set up of this winn-Dixie compared to others in the area. There is always someone cleaning the floors too. I've never seen that in the 3 nearby Winn-Dixie. No hassle shopping no long lines because they don't sell clothing and small appliance like another grocery store down the street that always has long lines.
