I really dislike giving negative reviews but that's just how the cookie crumbles because everyone deserves honesty and truth. I can't be out here hyping every business up when that's not the reality. On 12/18 I had to come to this Walgreens for passport pictures. There was a woman working the picture area and I asked her politely TWICE "hello ma'am, is this where I take my passport pics?" She was doing something but she heard me, didn't even look at me or say "I'll be right with you". I went to the kiosk and started pressing passport option (I had no idea what I was doing to be honest) and this it asked for an employees ID number so I ask "hello? Can I please have your id number?" This lady still looking down (not looking at me ONCE) states her ID number. At this point I was pissed because she really was just ignoring me. After adding the info, I realized I really couldn't have the option to do the pics on my own. I could only upload images. I had to wait for one of the rudest employees I've come across in a while to be done ignoring me..now also others. While standing right in front of her and her back no longer turned, I ask again "are you able to help me with my passport pics??" Her: "yes I'll be right with you" FINALLY I replied "I've asked you 3 times and you've ignored me" as another customer says "welcome to Florida" I was on the verge of boiling. I kept it together and she changed her entire demeanor after I said that. But not before she gossiped with another co-worker while checking me out. I couldn't wait to get out of there. Unfortunately, this is the most convenient Walgreens on my drive however it is by FAR not the best at all. I hope the manager and staff are re-trained on customer service. One could never say I'm the rude customer. She was downright wrong and knew it. read more

The night manager at this Walgreens is missing the nazi badge on her arm. I recently sent my old mother to take her passport photos (digital photos) the photos never came to the email so I went there after work to request them to send it again, there she was with her back to me and after me politely stay for her to finish what she was doing for at least two minutes, I said hi there, she responded by saying "give me a minute" I now was a bit now agitated so I said, I've been here for two minutes already. She without turning to look at me said " what do you need" I said can you face me? I am not going to talk to your behind, she turned finally with a face that looked like she was going to tear my head off asked again "what do you need". I responded I need nothing I want to see if you can send me an email that you had sent me this morning again, without hesitation she said no I can not and she turned her back to me again. I asked it is the photos you already sent me passport photos for my mother she said no I can not she would have to come take them again. I understand that might be true, hard to believe but possible however her handling of it with her I think Russian accent was the rudest I have been treated in a business establishment in my 63 years in this world. I KNOW I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE WITH THIS EXPERIENCE WITH HER. I never have wished for anyone to lose their job but she would not work an hour for me if I had anything to do with it. read more

I don't like giving negative reviews. So sometimes I just will not write anything, since I like to keep life positive. But... since I have to give a star, they get one, but I'll call it negative one. This is the second time I used them as a fed ex drop off and one of many that I ran in after work. I have never waited in such long lines. Only one person at the register, other staff walking around like they do not see people in these lines. One gentleman was helping the line of passport pics, photos and my fed-ex drop off, he vanished. After 30 min of the same people in line.... A manager came and went and kept acting like she would come back. When she finally started to help. She said to the only woman that had been working the counter "oh I guess he went home." I don't know how this company could operate in the medical services field without being checked. I dread it when I need a prescription. They are never ready when promised. They don't check with insurance for price or co-pay. After being frustrated waiting days for a perscription, I requested delivery. They said fine, next day. Delivery never happened. I had to go back to the store the following day. They are playing with people's health. They're not delivering pizza. People need their prescriptions. I think they should be shut down. read more

The staff is rude and unprofessional. The pharmacy staff is not helpful, they are lazy and have a horrible attitude, bad service. My Dr called in a prescription after a procedure, I requested to have it delivered. never arrived. I called and they told me it was there and had not been sent. I asked them to hold it for pick up, when I was able to go the next day they said it had been sent by fed ex that morning. and it would take 2 days to reach me. After waiting forever to speak to the pharmacist it was found in a bin waiting for fed ex to pick up at end of day. Stay away from this store, I will not use them again. read more

I don't normally due chains & I am actually a Walgreens fan but unfortunately this particulars pharmacy at this location is so poorly run I simply can't sit back and not say something. I have put up with their horrendous service for years but I have finally reached a breaking point. I'll just give you the bullet points and I am sure some of it has to do with short staffing as many businesses do, but at the same time these issues existed long before the Pandemic. Only reason I maintained them was their close proximity to my home but alas no mas. * Drive Through portion of the pharmacy is never staffed, they have front people running back in forth and sometimes it is simply closed during regular business hours. You can spend 15 minutes waiting for service and your the 1st person in line. * Inside one person is handling a line that stretches into the isles. Yes they are giving vaccines, but then there is nobody to handle the distribution of your RX orders. * Forget it if you have to call on the phone you can hold for over an hour or get cut off after waiting forever. Once you do get them on the phone they either yes you to death promise a call back or simple ignore the problem until you show up and demand service. See Item 2 here about waiting in line. * If there is an insurance issue with an RX it DOES NOT GET FIXED unless you fix it * Message your prescription has an issue there is nothing for you to do the pharmacy will handle it. (NEVER EVER HAPPENS) If you don't fix it, it does not get done. * ACTUALLY DISPENSED ME THE WRONG MEDICATION - I brought it in the Pharmacist was stunned. Was told a report would be made, tapes looked at and a call would then be forthcoming. NEVER HEARD FROM THEM AGAIN. In short AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS - I've moved all my RX's to Publix Pharmacy as proximity or not this place is an absolute disaster. read more

This Walgreens, located on East Hallandale Beach Blvd., is large with organized aisles offering various items such as cosmetics, health & beauty products, medicine, toys, grocery, seasonal items, drive-thru pharmacy, 1-hour photo, liquor store, etc. Walgreens has a rewards card, but you can only obtain points on selected items. The employees are friendly. A few years back, I used to shop here a lot, but when I got introduced to CVS, shopping at Walgreens became a faded memory. Anyway, I stopped by Walgreens liquor store to get a bottle of Cruzan coconut rum as a present for my friend's birthday. Upon entering, I was greeted by a female employee who helped me locate where the rum was. It was on sale for $17.99. The liquor store was small and clean with organized aisles; and a wide selection of various wine, spirits, and beer. The female employee was nice enough to place the bottle in a paper bag for me as I made my payment. Now I don't know exactly when I will return to Walgreens, but you'll never know. read more

This pharmacy operates as if it is severely understaffed, and you are lucky if you get someone working there to behave professionally. Every month I come here to pick up prescriptions and every month it's the same issue. When you call, you sit on hold for 10-20 minutes at least and usually get hung up on. The waiting line inside the pharmacy and in the drive-thru are always long. If there are issues with insurance, you have to call the pharmacy or physically go there since they don't answer their phone because they do not reach out to insurance without being prompted. Please hire more people, hire better qualified people, train the current staff, something! read more

EVERY TIME I GO the cashier is stuck with one person for LITERALLY 20 minutes and a huge line piles up and no one cares to help even though there are multiple employees behind the counter. Awful service. After I waited for 20 minutes while the line piled up it was finally my turn to check out and cashier was scrolling away on her phone. Please be aware when you shop here that cashiers might take any digital money-back coupons you earn. Today, I had this unfortunate experience. After my transaction, the Cash App gave me my receipt and $13 in cash reward coupons, but the cashier threw them in the garbage can located right under the printer. When I asked about my coupons, she had to dig them out of the trash. So, be very careful. read more

Horrible customer service. I get that it is a busy store but they should staff it appropriately. I called the pharmacy to cancel a prescription that they were breaking the law by filling and they hung up on me after holding for 10 minutes the first time and 6 minutes the second time. I guess it would have been easier to report them to the DEA! They never have enough staff and they don't have proper procedures for Express Pass at this store. I'm a visitor from out of town and required antibiotic drops for my son's ear. The line up at the pharmacy was ridiculous. One person was working at the front. I waited over 1/2 hour in line to be told these ear drops were 200$. I left. The next day I went to Walmart, no wait time, friendly staff and got the same medication for 76$!!! For the past three times, I have refilled my prescription, promised the medicine for the next hour, and it ends up rolling into the next day without a courtesy call, etc. The worst part is that the employee that I spoke to assured me that the medicine was in stock. To my surprise, when I called the next day I am informed that the medicine is not in stock. When I ask to verify their inventory, I get the response: "let me get someone to check physical inventory". 29 MINUTES LATER I arrive at the store while on hold and eventually get cut off. I spoke to the assistant manager by the name of Nelly that showed no genuine interest in resolving this matter. While waiting for them to find a solution, I hear the lines ringing without stop. THIS IS A MANAGEMENT ISSUE. I do have to commend a young lady by the name of Vanessa, that helped me resolve the manner with TOP customer service. This Walgreens's is a joke. I was in line waiting for a prescription. The person at the counter just walked away with about 7 people in line. After a few minutes the first person in line called to the back saying is anyone here. The pharmacist came out and said where did she go. No one knew so he waited on everyone. Every time you order a prescription there is an insurance problem. Come on now, that shouldn't happen every time. So when you are at the window they suddenly fix the problem and tell you to have a seat and they will fill it. So you sit and wait and no one tells you when it is ready. You could sit there all day and no one acknowledges you. When you go up to the counter, the people in line get mad and say there are next. This Walgreens pharmacy has the slowest service in the world, I can not understand how this can happen to people. What's a shame! I am writing this message in great disappointment while I I am on hold waiting for the Pharmacist to pick up the phone. Prior to that, I spent about 30 min in line at the store to pick up my mom's prescription. After my turn came and I approached the counter, I was told that one prescription is out of stock and they have to reorder it. I told the pharmacist that I am a doctor and can order the alternative to substitute that medicine in order do not wait. But they miraculously found needed prescription. I paid , left in slight frustration. And guess what? When I came to my moms home and check the pack with given meds I realized they gave me just on medicine out of 3 that I needed. Now after waiting 18 min being on hold they finally hang up on me. From now on if my patients will ask me to call or to send to Walgreens for their refills the response will be "I will call CVS or Some other Pharmacy, becomes Walgreens are not professionals." This is my second bad review for this particular pharmacy. It seems that they don't care. No wonder they have low ratings. read more

What an incredibly mismanaged pharmacy! I made an appointment for a vaccine, showed up during my appointment time, and still had to wait 45 minutes to be seen by the staff. Thus Walgreens has absolutely anything you're in need of when in a rush. Need make up, no problem they have that..got a cold or headache and need medicine..boom they have that too..it's party time and need alcohol..it's the door on the left! Hahaha This is my go to quick spot for any snacks when I have to go on a run for some munchies. They have ice cream, chips, nuts, yogurt, Lunchables, etc. Some of their products are slightly over priced if you're going to get fruit or yogurt which luckily there are supermarkets around if you're craving those items. As far as chips they always have some kind of sale going on such as 2/$3.50 (I went for a munchies run yesterday). Isn't work so much better when you have snacks or is it just me? Worst part is he told my wife how he called 3 pharmacies and no one had. I told him how important this medication was, but didn't really care. CVS had it. First of all, I rarely write reviews, but this experience that I just had with them over the phone has prompted me to do this. My Dr. called in a prescription. I received an automated call back, saying that they needed updated insurance info to fill it. I called the pharmacy, listened to recorded music for 6 minutes, then it rang through. And kept ringing. And kept ringing. After another 5 minutes of me on hold thinking someone was going to pick up, they ended the call (hung up). I called back and spoke with the store manager and simply asked him to take my name and number to have someone in Pharmacy to call me back. His response. "I can't do that. I don't work in Pharmacy". The worst Walgreens in the world. I moved to the area a few months ago and had to use this pharmacy a few times. The level of incompetency is dumbfounding. I don't know where they hire from, but it is just unbelievable how they operate. It takes a week to fill a prescription and they can't deal with insurance or doctors messages or phone calls.
