This pharmacy portrays an old school ambiance with entire walls of snake oil type of jars. They had a counter of Abdallah candies and wanted to try the peanut butter caramel crisp or the dark chocolate mint fudge. I went with the caramel which was creamy goodness. This pharmacy accepts most insurance companies and has many vitamins and unique lotions & creams. read more

Amazing pharmacy! As soon as I step in I was greeted !! They made me feel like I am an apart of their family. As a patient , we often have questions / concerns about our medications however, most of patients(including myself are nervous/ashamed to ask) however they communicate very professionally and shows empathy. Also, I will like to add that from the time my RX was sent at my MD Appt , it was prepared in lighting speed ; they also text when ready or keep me informed of its status ...WOW!! Finding out they also offer other services such mtm(compliance and educating medication use and when best yet they provide custom compound medications for pets. They are compassionate. Emerald Hills Pharmacy - Amazing bagging ans service Thank you emerald hills for taking care of my well being and health - Drugstores Near Me - Hollywood, Florida

Exceptional customer service and products. I haven't been in person yet, but I get my medications delivered to my home in Miami. Due to an insurance change, I had to use other pharmacies for a while this year and I have to say no one did it like Emerald Hills. I'm coming back to Emerald even if my insurance says it is out of network. The quality of my compound medication is the best. The compound cream actually works because it is made and handle properly. In addition, the customer service over the phone is outstanding. They are polite and efficient every single time. On this ocassion, I got Andrea on the phone and she did my order quickly without any problems. Everyone I speak to throughout my time as a customer is always professional and willing to help. They also keep you posted through text messages on the status of your order. Another very important service is delivery. They provide free delivery to Miami. Overall, it is just the best! I will not leave them again. read more

Horrible pharmacy. They will screw up your order and every refill, refill and charge your card without your authorization and not deliver when guaranteed. They screwed up my initial prescription order and two refills now and I am just DONE. My dermatologist sent me here because they sell harder to find meds but I would not recommend this business at ALL. If you need hard to find meds, use Palm Beach Pharmacy. They will deliver to your home and use an app called Nimble so you can see all your RXs, refill and pay in the app and confirm tracking and delivery. I am immediately transferring all of my prescriptions. Learn from my mistake and the mistake of others leaving reviews here. read more

Very knowledgeable and friendly, Belkys was so helpful explaining my medications over the phone. The delivery was great, I was informed constantly when the driver would arrive. I highly recommend Emerald Hills Pharmacy read more

Absolutely incompetent!! Avoid this place if you have any important medications or health concerns. My husband was released from the hospital yesterday afternoon and his prescriptions were sent to this pharmacy. I called to check on them and first was told that the antibiotic that was called in was not covered by my insurance and would cost me $75. The young man who told me this kept me on hold for 20 minutes, said he would see what he could do. When he came back on he told me the same exact thing and then said he could give me less pills for $65!! Why would I do that?! Since we needed it I said fine I'd pay the $75 and then he tells me they won't have the pills till Tuesday, after the holiday weekend and I should check another pharmacy so they could transfer the prescription. We ended up going to the CVS at 4599 Sheridan street in Hollywood and they requested the prescription for the antibiotic and the other medication sent from the hospital from Emerald pharmacy. I came back 2 hours later and CVS told me the transfer was never faxed over. They had to call emerald pharmacy again and they only sent over the antibiotic prescription. By the way the antibiotic only cost me $5 at CVS, not $75!!!! Anyway, CVS had to call them again to request the other prescription and Emerald pharmacy said they would send it. This was just before 7pm. It was never sent and Emerald Pharmacy closed! So basically my husband did not have one of his required medications that he was supposed to take that evening. Then this morning I called emerald pharmacy to see if they still had the prescription for pick up. They proceeded to tell me that it was transferred at 6pm the night before to CVS. I told them they didn't have it. Emerald pharmacy proceeded to tell me "oh that's because it was faxed to CVS, 5151 Sheridan Street. I got in the car to go there only to find out that 5151 Sheridan Street is a Dollar tree!!! I immediately went to Emerald Pharmacy and they tried to tell me it was sent to the CVS at 4599 Sheridan street. After about 45 minutes they finally left CVS a message to cancel the transfer, which was never done in the first place! Then the girl at Emerald Pharmacy tells me we don't have the full amount of pills! Which I was told the night before they did. Turns out the prescription was still waiting in the front for my husband! This whole ordeal lasted at 3 hours between the night before and now this morning to get a simple but urgent prescription. I have no idea what will happen to my husband because he was unable to start the medicine the night before. The incompetence at Emerald pharmacy is staggering. My husband has had prescriptions filled there before the over the years they have gone down hill. They are messing with people's necessary medicines here. By they way, I never write reviews even if I have an issue with some place, everyone has an off day, but this level of incompetence is scary. Avoid this place at all costs, you're life may depend on it!!! read more

my doctor called in a compounding cream that I'm supposed to use prior to a procedure. Creamer arrived in a cardboard box inside the box was a cooler box and inside the cooler box was medication and one of those freeze bags to keep it cold. The box was extremely hot. I opened it up inside the cooler. It was also extremely hot and the cooler freeze thing was melted. I have spent the last week making very painful phone calls being on hold forever having someone call me, but leaving me just a general number and not a persons name or phone number that I could call. bottom line when I got in touch with them finally on Saturday is that I can return the product for a refund however, I will be paying for the shipping fees. I would never use this pharmacy again. Very unprofessional way to handle a customer service issue. read more

I've been using Emerald hills for the past few months. Belkis is awesome. She goes above and beyond to get medications approved

Might be the worst customer service I've ever experienced. They filled my prescription without my consent and lied to me when I asked if they filled it. It took me 30 minutes on hold to get through to someone just to be lied to. I've now been calling for over an hour and no one is answering. Fill your prescriptions literally ANYWHERE else. read more

Pleasant workers and they usually have hard to find medications. They can also make compounding meds for you. Super cute inside and smells great always. Only downside is at times if they don't have your medication, they must order it but it's usually 1-2 days. It's very difficult to call there because you get tossed around and the phone wait is long. It's best to just show up. read more

Paid for prescription on Thursday was told I was going to have free delivery by Monday. It's Monday night 6:58 PM. Two minutes before they close and I just picked up MY OWN prescription which they redid. They LOST my prescription. Staff says the driver turned around because of bad weather today. There was no storm today Monday June 20, 2022. What type of courier service turns around and doesn't finish their job for time sensitive prescription???? They've had four days to do their job. Horrible service! I spoke to the owner and he had no answer and no apology. No answers equals bad review. And they forgot to tell me this prescription needs to be refrigerated. read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE I've used this pharmacy twice. The first time, I called before hand and they said my prescription was ready, two days after it should have been. When I arrived I had to wait 30 minutes just get someone to help me with my order. So frustrating because there was no one in the store besides me and one other person. Then they didn't have everything ready like they said they did and that I would have to come back. Ridiculous. Now I have been trying to get my prescription filled for the past week and no one is answering the phone. This is awful. I call and call, no one picks up. I leave numerous messages, no one returns any calls. This is just unbelievable. My prescription should have been completed by now if they bothered to pick up the phone. I normally don't go out of my way to write reviews, but I am currently sitting here for the 7th day in a row trying to get in touch with them. Either pick up the phone or hire another employee who is in charge of answering the phone. Please use another pharmacy if you want decent customer service and your prescriptions timely. read more

The second I walked into Emerald Hill's Pharmacy I was overcome with a warm, "cozy" feeling. The shop looks like how I pictured drug stores to be back in the day. They offer a wide variety of organic soaps, lotions, soy candles, shampoos, vitamins and so much more! Check this place out! read more

Had to switch my compounding prescription from them. Very slow and unprofessional. Would never go here again.

I contacted the business today to clarify price of my RX (that already paid) and requested a price check of the medicine. This business charged me almost a 100% comparing other pharmacies using coupon code, I should know before pay for it. That ability (coupon) was never offered when I get the call back to make a payment, they just charge w/o other options to reduce the price of the medicine. After the long talk over the phone they did not wanted to adjust the price (and they could) simply because I will purchase the same medicine from them at the discount price. This makes no sense. Besides I have a reaction from the medicine and have to switch to another, this business did not care at all for my request and customer service was a monologue. I originally wanted to email them directly to let them know w/o going to Yelp, unfortunately they don't have email contact. My next visit to my Dr, I will complaint about to be careful how they recommend it w/o doing proper research and always rely on the coupon option if your insurance would not cover the cost and definitely let him know about this experience with Emerald. Nothing against small businesses, but they should know about not everyone have indefinite spending. read more

I started using this pharmacy about seven years ago or so. A small pharmacy but in a location on Stirling Road dangerous for me because I have to make a U turn on Stirling to get home and the cars whiz by. I take my time because I felt worth it rather than stand in line for a big box store. However no one answers phone only loud music when you call on the phone you can wait forever so to b pass this I call the line for doctors office and now there is a. long wait there and by long I mean more than 5 min. You can wait half hour on the regular line and they say leave a message. I don't like to use the automated system which they prefer. The counter help keeps changing and most speak Spanish as a first language. Since I am elderly and hard of hearing I have to ask them to repeat and repeat and I end up talking in a loud voice and I can't understand them. A few weeks ago I called in for my eye drops and they told me a week later the manufacture can't fulfill them right now and they will let me know when ready. I called yesterday and a man said we notified you ready. I said thank you either didn't get or deleted the notify. I went there this morning on my way to meet a friend. They were dealing with another customer and having a difficult time. I said I am in a hurry just give me my med eye drop and let me go. To make a long story shorter no eye drops no phone call denied called me and said did not know who I talked to yesterday but eye drops not in yet. The manager or owner comes out arms crossed ready to see if this will escalate and this is not the first time and I left and said I can't deal with you any more I will have to make other arrangements. So much for a small boutique pharmacy with great customer service. Small does not always mean better. It may be a way longer time on the phone trying to reach someone and the people at the counter are always changing and not sure what they are doing and do not speak English well. Nuff said. I am just done. read more

I wish I could give ZERO stars. These people are incompetent, unresponsive, and have no idea what they are doing. My doctor sent them a prescription - they texted me and said "We received a prescription... call to authorize fill & schedule delivery." I called and got the machine, left a message. I texted them back at the same time. No call back, no communication. Five days later called back, got someone on the phone. They said " I need to check your copay- we will call you back" -- NO CALL BACK. Two days later, I call again. THEY DO NOT HAVE THE MEDICATION IN STOCK. I am supposed to wait 3 days, then drive an hour to get my medication!!! Or I can wait 5 days for delivery!!! FORGET IT- I don't know why my doctor sent this to these people but they are completely unprofessional. read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PHARMACY IF YOU NEED YOUR MEDICATIONS IN A TIMELY MANNER. My experience with this pharmacy was SO horrible. So unprofessional. The representative on the phone will tell you one thing and do another. I had no medication for 3 days because I counted on them to deliver it when they said they would. They don't follow up with each other, they don't follow up with their courier, and when you call to get an update on the medication that you've already paid hundreds of dollars for, they give you attitude. I've never seen such an unorganized business in my entire life! My medication was supposed to be delivered on Friday morning. I got a text that morning that my delivery is set for Monday. Called the pharmacy for them to tell me it is being brought back and I should come pick it up on Saturday. I call them all Saturday morning and afternoon and my calls go straight to voicemail because they are CLOSED. Nobody returns my messages. To make matters worse, I then call the carrier who tells me THEY STILL HAVE MY MEDICATION, and that emerald hills pharmacy NEVER called to tell them to return my meds to the pharmacy. Come Monday morning my meds are delivered to the pharmacy (AT 6:55AM) instead of to me. ‍ And now I have to go pick it up. you can't make Sh*t this up. Ridiculous. Considering these people are managing your MEDICATIONS, stay far far far far away from emerald hills pharmacy. read more

What a wonderful little store! So much better than a CVS or Walgreens. Very friendly staff.

Absolutely disgusting customer service. Please read RECENT reviews. For three separate people to tell you three separate things on why your medication has not even been ordered a month after you paid for it is ridiculous. Even worse when you try to be patient and the agent catches an attitude, interrupts you constantly, says you must have them mixed up with another pharmacy (because there are so many emerald hills pharmacies in south florida) and then hangs up in your face. It's ridiculous. If your practitioner says they'll send your medication here, absolutely refuse. You will not get it in a timely manner and you'll be treated horribly for it as if it were your fault. read more

My vet sent me 3 doors down to this pharmacy to pick up some antibiotics for Luna. I knew the antibiotics would most likely be free at Publix, but didn't want to go out of my way to Publix, nor drop off the Rx and then come back later to pick it up. Emerald Hill's was great. The antibiotics (they had to make up the solution) was quickly filled and they helped me find another item (non-prescription) that the vet had recommended I try. The store itself is super cute and has that old time chemist feel as though you're in England in the early 1900's. Lot's of other products to browse such as soaps and lotions (I did go to town on the testers cause I was a bit nervous and worried for Luna). I didn't spend a great deal of time talking with the staff since it was just simple antibiotics, but I could tell their customer service skills are definitely above the rest and that they would take the time to explain in detail the medications etc. If you're sick of those big drugstore chains that have no personality and keep you waiting forever, definitely check out Emerald Hill! read more

This pharmacy is AMAZING. Lavender scents greet you from the moment you walk in giving you an instant zen-like experience! This place has an old-timey apothecary feel w/ superb service. All the staff take extra time to go over your meds & assist w/ any insurance issues. Not to mention some of the BEST prices for rx's in the area. But my favorite part about Emerald hills pharm is all the natural & cruelty free skin/bodycare products they carry. The whole center of the store has a great display of products w/ testers for each. So while you're waiting you can sample a ton of fun stuff and leave smelling like you were just in a spa! read more

They were charging $50 for home Covid test kits when everyone else is selling them for half that. I ended up paying it, but only because everyone else seemed to be out of them. My doctor told me about this pharmacy. He said he highly recommended it because when you call you can speak to a real person, and the pharmacist is easily available without being on hold for forever. My initial impression is that the customer service seems very high quality. Everyone has been super pleasant that I've dealt with. I've only been in a few times but they make connections about who I am and even asked how a product I purchased was working for me. It's nice to have a personal touch in such a large impersonal metro area. I love the clean cut, fresh feeling of the store and that they focus on natural products. Even the prescription comes in a cute little paper bag. They earned a repeat customer, especially since I like to support local businesses. read more

I take adderall and it's been very hard to find lately, however my doctor advised me to try a local independent pharmacy. I went here and they told me they aren't taking any new patients for adderall. Also despite them having a sign on their door and on the door to access the pharmacy part of the store that masks are required there was a gentleman behind the counter where the meds are bottled not wearing a mask. I guess I dodged a bullet since they wouldn't "take on a new adderall patient" read more

When you walk into EHP, it is as if you have left the fast-paced, emotionally detached society of South Florida as you are greeted with small town smiles and a warm, homie ambiance. Not only will their pharmacists make sure you are currently taking the correct medications the correct way, they take time out of their day to pick up the phone to consult your doctor if they feel there is a better drug option. Most of the time, doctors have no idea which insurance covers which drugs, and how much drugs cost. That is when it pays to have a pharmacy that cares about and knows each patient, and actually works for you. I recently had a dentist appointment and was given a script I needed filled. Coincidentally driving down Stirling right before hopping back on 95, I spotted Emerald Hills Pharmacy. What the heck, I figured it couldn't be worse than standing in line with sick people at CVS. Well, I walked in to a very unexpected super clean establishment with brick accents. Coming from the dentist I appreciated it wasn't lit up like a Publix, dim lights were very comfortable. The pharmacist was very nice, attentive and recommended a different dose so I could keep a few bucks in my pocket. Not only did the pharmacist call my dentist to save me money but gave me the script within 7 minutes. This experience felt like no other experience I have ever had at any pharmacy before. What really knocked my socks off is when I told them I didn't live too close, they gave me a card and explained their FREE DELIVERY FOR SCRIPTS!
